Correctly recognized as 1066 memory on my GA-EP43-UD3P motherboard, unlike the 'other brand' memory this replaced which claimed to be 1066 but recognized as 800. none No errors through lengthy burnin test! G.Talent is my new prefered brand.

The 2x1GB pack can be made to run at 1066 -- I am operating it at 1066 under X3 720BE on a Asrock 790GM/SB750 micro-ATX board. I needed to put 2.14v /to make my 3.4GHz OC system Prime-stable overnight. (Still making use of default 200 MHz clock to keep 1Ʌ FSB:DRAM speed ratio). Needed to alter some of the default settings to hit 1066 below 3.4GHz. That intense overclocking network has at least three posts about these settings.DRAM rates are way up 鲤% or much more) from just 7-8 months back... thanks to Win7 upgrades all more than the world! My 32-bit Win 7 technique hasn't complained about the miserly 2GB yet and it is not going to.. ever! A system with smaller chunks of DRAM is a lot much easier to overclock that a single with 6GB (in DDR3) or four-8GB with DDR2.

Operate fine in my Gigabyte P45 board. Ordering one more pair ideal soon after I'm accomplished with this critique. 10 bucks more than I wanted to pay, but with the volatility of memory prices, I had to jump in somewhere. I clicked optimized settings in my bios and it recognized them as 1066 and set them at five-five-five-15 at 1.8. The only adjustment I had to make was to take them up to 2.0v.I replaced some Vital stick's that had been getting a little whacky

G.Ability techs actually attempted to place forth a very good effort to support me with this challenge. I worked with them for many days on the challenge and they were prepared to adjust out memory or do whatever they could. They told me that this is an ongoing issue with the 790X chipset and the Gigabyte boards. The memory controllers are weak and cannot stabilize 1066 memory. (according to G.Ability). Gigabye won't answer me on this. Not compatible with my Gigabyte 790X chipset. BIOS reads then as DDR2 800 and you have to manually alter almost everything to use them at 1066. But they are not stable at 1066. Prime95 runs two minutes before displaying errors and it's not my Processor. With various memory, Prime95 runs excellent for hours & hours. It would run games and other programs, but if a system does not run Prime95, it's just not a stable technique. The techs at G.Talent suggested that I get yet another mother board. Asus is what they suggested. Gigabyte never answered one request throughout all this, so I shipped back the memory and the mother board. I went with Asus and Essential. Sorry G.Ability, but even though you had been trying to assistance, it tells me your memory has troubles I don't want to deal with. As usually Newegg was Great. Took back the memory and didn't charge a restocking fee. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe are sorry to hear you had been unable to get your memory package operating adequately. This is one particular of the only problems that we have as far as motherboard compatibility. The memory controllers are not "weak" but we feel the concern might be with the HT Link Speed/Voltage. Unfortunately some men and women have no concerns at all, and some have all sorts of difficulties, so we are executing our ideal to find a resolution. The guide we have readily available are the optimum settings for the memory.http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t򕌹If you have any additional questions, please feel no cost to let us know.Thank youGSKILL HelpGood quality and customer service are our major priorities.Tech Help Email: ustech@gskill.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskill.comG.Talent Forum: http://www.gskill.com

The stick design isn't all flash! Aids dissipate heat nicely and prevents construct up of dust. I've had the pair set up in my rig for over a year now and points get pretty dusty. The only dust buildup on these guys was on the serial number sticker. Cards had been as shiny and clean as the day I unpacked them. A small pricey, but I guess that's to be expected with DDR3 sticks out. Memory is always funky with pricing like that. Excellent buy. I was contemplating going for the Kingston counterpart, but I decided to go with a brand I trusted. Picked up a different set for Black Friday!

Had 2x1 GB sticks of this in a BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX A2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard for the previous year and they worked fine at total 1066 speed more than the past year. I ordered one more two x1 GB sticks here to max me out and no matter what i do or attempt I can not get all four to operate at total speed. two.1 volts set timings manually to the specs the GSKILL individual advised in forum... none of it mattered.. BSOD from memory everytime. I'm operating what Vista sees as three.25 GB at 800mhz.I am dissappointed. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWhen operating 4 sticks, it can anxiety out the memory controller. You will want to raise NB Voltage to 1.4V and HT Voltage to 1.4V. For advanced memory timings, look for tRFC and set that to 80 to allow the further capacity. Once that is full your pc will be running smoothly. The reason Vista is reading three.25GB is due to the fact that is the operating technique limit. You will will need to upgrade to a 64 bit Windows platform in order to understand over three.25GB. wonderful dependable memory, quick, no complications at all SOOOOOO costly, so very high priced, expenses way as well significantly, not cheap. i consider you get the point I built my fabulous quad core gaming computer last june and I totally like it but at that time I was in a position to get four gigs of this stuff (I essentially have two two gigabyte sticks) for ็! I can not think the inflation! Its excellent ram, but now its double the value for 4 gigs! wait for the cost to drop or go with ddr3 this ram just isn't worth its outrageous cost.

Operates effectively paired with 2GB of Corsair Dominator DHX series all in dual channel. Total 4GB RAM now, has been quite smooth.Came with a G.Skill sticker that looks neato-complete-o super skippity-bippity boo on my tower. Gigabyte EX38-DS4 motherboard BIOS needed to be updated with correct timings, also elevated voltage by Ӭ.20V. As lengthy as you know what you're undertaking and make sure your mobo is running the proper timings and voltage, these sticks work great! No require for DDR3 memory for a little bit longer for me.

Good Value ำ for 2gbPerformance: I feel these memory are good, i just had bad fortunate.Great Heat Spreader Cost: โIn my case, I purchased these memories about a year and a half and I under no circumstances knew they were defective lol. two eggs? I know that is not G.skill fault at all due to the fact my bad information on computer systems and i never reported they were defective otherwise I know G.ability have altered it for new ones. but i didn know how to diagnostics bad memory. I did many tests with Memtest86_four. and it discovered hundreds of thousands of errors. I use these two configurations and it show exact same errors. I do not recognize how memory works if it has so several erros. I play mw2 best the only problem come when i attempt to close the game it frezze itself, one more dilemma is when windows 7 is loading it takes a lot more than normal time to open windows and most of the programs. I use those setting and similar factor happend.tcl 5 - five tRCD - five Trp - Tras 15 - 2t - two.1 Voltstcl 4 - 4 tRCD - 4 trp - Tras 12 - 2t - 2.1 Volts like i said i don't assume these is a undesirable memory brand is just a defective memory.
