Very good Brand, rapidly RAM, Newegg Rocks One particular stick ƑGB) is DOA. Type of upsetting. Generally this would not bother me as I would just RMA it, but in this case I am working with the very good stick to preserve the personal computer operating and not actual sure how I or Newegg will deal with RMA on this as I can\'t be without this system for even a day, Hopeing Newegg can support with this circumstance. I will post a comply with-up immediately after I get the news from Newegg.... Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe apologize for the inconvenience. NewEgg will not allow partial returns; as a outcome, only set up an RMA directly with us and we will be glad to have that one particular module replaced. Great strong ram at 800. Quick and stable. Heatspreaders are great aesthetics (probably unnecessary). Low cost. For some cause when i clock it to the advertised rating at 1066 it becomes unstable. Surely OCing this will give the similar outcome. At default 800 its great, but wouldve wanted it to run at its 1066 rated clock speed. A 2x1gb kit isnt genuinely a initial choice for OCing or pairing with high grade hardware. This is undoubtedly for a low/mid tier method. At 800, this is a strong performer. Dont anticipate substantially overhead with this. If you can run it at 1066, great, but 800 is decent adequate for normal usage. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Ability acquire. We are sorry to hear you are having troubles with your memory package. Please speak to our technical assistance division and they will be able to troubleshoot the concern. The instability at DDR2-1066 might lie elsewhere such as the CPU, so our tech representatives will be in a position to determine the restricting element. To operate the memory at DDR2-800 without losing efficiency, basically use tCL four - tRCD four - tRP 4 - tRAS 12 - Command Rate 2, memory voltage two.0V, and anything must run just as rapidly as DDR2-1066 CL5. If you have any further questions, please really feel no cost to let us know.Thank youGSKILL HelpQuality and customer service are our prime priorities.Tech Assistance Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept Email: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Just what I was needing. It operates just fine in my Gigabyte motherboard model #GA-MA78GM-US2H Rev. 1. Only issue I have to complain about is my CPU. It's an AMD Athlon AM2 X2 64 dual core does not support the memory speed I was hoping to get get. Anyway there is nothing incorrect with the memory, it works just fine. Could not be happier with it and the brand. I'll reccomend it to everyone.

Have built three machines with G.Skill 1) Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P w\ 2x2Gb sticks and 2x1Gb sticks. Running a multi-boot sys w\ XP pro, Win7-32, & Win7-64 ... all OS's operating flawlessly2) Asus M4A785-M miniATX w\ 2x1Gb sticks ... Mem tested in above machine, Flawless ... Asus mobo DOA (Newegg RMA in progress) Newegg is by far the ideal e-tailer out there!three) Gigabyte GA-MA785G HDMI Micro... the replacement for develop # 2, will update by this weekend, but have no doubtthe combo of G.Ability and Gigabyte will be amazing. Have had truly excellent builds with them. MSI, ASUS, ASRock, and FOXCONN all have really excellent boards ... but not usually the greatest top quality control. Read the Newegg critiques, if the 4 egg and 5 egg evaluations total 80 to 85% or greater Get IT, as a common rule. 1)Can't teach these sticks how to make coffeetwo)Prices are not the ideal ideal now, they've gone up over 40 % in some brands over last year. Have built rather afew machines more than the years and till about 2 years ago applied Corsair memory exclusively. Enter 'conŠ',they are nonetheless a single of the finest out there just receiving abit pricey. For price and reliability I've been working with G.Skill, IMHO if you're not OC'ing them to interplanetary speeds they're wonderful for the average create w/ alittle OC headroom.

I purchased two of these 2X1GB kits for a total of 4GB, and they clocked flawlessly. As a matter of reality, I overclocked an E6300 to three.33GHz, then did a 96-hour torture test without a dilemma. These chips run cool, and are exceptional performers. None The Newegg client comment section for this product offers excellent documentation for buyers. Tnx Newegg!

Low-cost... Over the past month ive purchased perhaps a dozen of these sticks. So far, i feel i've returned about 75% of the sticks. With the time/money involved in return shipments, ive vowed to by no means get G.Ability memory once again. Its not worth the headaches IF the memory does occur to perform. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerPlease make contact with us with your computer specifications, you should not be possessing such troubles with our memory packages. It may just be a BIOS setting concern causing your memory to seem defective. Very good board. I paired this board with Athlon II x3 425 and it overclocked 250 x 13.five devoid of issue. I have two x 2GB corsair memory running at 1000 MHz. BIOS is great, lot of choices. When voltage is set to auto in bios, motherboard set voltage a tiny high, but as soon as you you alter it to manual it operates good, ram is set to 1.85 and cpv to 1.312. As motherboard set voltage to ram .05 more than what it need to be, I have my RAM running at 1000 MHz with only 2.05v rather of 2.1. This is very good, my memory don get over volted and runs cooler. I haven't utilized the onboard graphics.

Pros??????? I always utilized Kingston memories for about ten+ years including servers, house pcs, and laptops. I had to develop a new laptop or computer early this year so I decided to give G.Ability a likelihood, since it says it is covered by lifetime warranty. I ordered two sets from newegg about ten months ago. Looked nice when I got them and it worked when I put them in. woo... appropriate? Nicely, a single set just died about a week ago. nicely... at least not both set died. I emailed G.Ability several times due to the fact a week ago, but I heard no response from them at all. What sort of service is this? Yes, offering lifetime warranty on their item is excellent, but what's usage of it if they never respond you back to problem a RMA quantity so they can replace your bad memory??? I must've trust other people right here complaining about no resonse from them when they get in touch with them. Nicely, I thought, "it will be diverse for me"... Wrong!! My Other thoughts? Generally, I will by no means acquire them again. Will not refer to anybody again. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe apologize for the inconvenience. Rock solid. I've In no way had any trouble with G-Skill memory. I really like how the heat spreaders cover the outsides of the modules, so it protects them from stray cables and dust. That way if you have a massive CPU cooler that interferes with the memory slots, you can install the memory first and not have to worry too much about damaging it. Timings were way slower than 5-5-5-15 when installed, and I could never ever get it superior than 8-five-5-15, but that is in all probability my motherboard's fault. A quick trip into the BIOS menu solved that issue (and created the memory way more quickly).

Bought this memory to add to the two gigs of this identical Gskill memory that I installed in my program when I built it a couple of years ago for a total of 4 gigs system memory so I could install Windows 7 64bit. Installed with no any issues. nada I used to acquire only Corsair or Critical memory but thought I'd give Gskill a shot when I built my computer a couple of years ago and I'm glad I did! Functions fantastic and costs much less. I create a lot of systems for household and friends and now only obtain Gskill for that simple reason.
