Run extremely cool. Booted correct up. None so far. Good looking heatsinks. These run far cooler than the Critical 1066 Tracers they replaced in my system. Why they can run at 1.8v alternatively of the Essential two.2v I do not know, but it is great, and I am hoping for a much better encounter than I had with the Tracers Ɩ of eight sticks sooner or later went undesirable).

Not a terrible cost thinking about the latency for DDR2 1100 RAM. This stuff worked fine in my Gigabyte EP45-UD3P board. I had to manually adjust the latency to 5-5-5-15, but that's not also out of the ordinary. Running now at 1120mhz at these latencies and I in all probability have space for a lot more. No issues at all. Good stuff! The heatsinks are a bit tall, so make certain you have area. That kinda gets in the way when you're operating in a tight case and trying to route cables, but it's actually a really minor quibble. Never ever had a issue with G.Ability.

I purchased this kit to replace my G.Ability HZ modules that finally died. I have them operating at 1141MHz at only 1.94v completely stable! The timings that have been recognized by the BIOS are truly a bit tighter than my old HZ's (in regards to the 2nd and 3rd sets of timings in my BIOS). To get my HZ's to 1081MHz I had to use 2.3v and manually tweak the 2nd and 3rd sets of timings. This kit is probably the ideal replacement I could have found for my HZ's and the value is great for the performance. Totally NONE! I had initially picked up the PI kit that runs at 1066 and they have been lousy. I couldnt get them to POST at 1081MHz making use of considerably higher voltage. Honestly, spring for this kit and you will not be disappointed.

Overclocks to 1200 at 1.9V !!!! with five-five-five-15 instances Runs Cool, looks excellent. upgrading from 800 mhz RAM truly makes a difference. none, as far as the product goes. Not the memorys fault, but Newegg's shipping was rediculous for this order. Orderd Sunday night, shipping invoice is received monday afternoon, tracking number received on TUESDAY, the CPU coller I orderd with this came friday, and the memory came the following Wednesday. Rapidly, properly crafted ram with lots of possible. Due to bios limitations on many Gigabyte boards, you have to make a handful of tweaks in order to make the ram run devoid of errors. I'm personally still new to more than-clocking, so I had to put more time into this than some other people would. But it also annoyed me that following all of my work, there appeared to be no true raise in overall performance. I only marked it down 1 egg due to the finish result. Than once more, there's not that substantially of a speed distinction amongst where it was and where it was supposed to be. But to me, every single little bit counts. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerThank you for your G.Skill buy and assessment. The memory package you purchased is not a typical memory frequency, so CPU overclocking will be essential. Also, it is above the maximum default regular, so memory settings should be manually configured. Once that is full, almost everything should run just fine. Based on what your original memory was, the distinction might not appear a lot below normal operation, but if you run benchmark tests, games, memory intensive programs, you will certainly notice a difference.Thank youGSKILL SupportExcellent and consumer service are our best priorities.Tech Assistance E mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Runs somewhat cool, rock stable at 1187 MHz at five-five-5-15, if you loosen the timing a bit can run at 1280 MHz on GA-EP45-UD3R. Running mine at two.1 V with minimal heat achieve. Not only appear cool, run cool and can match very easily in side by side config, (some heat spreaders make this challenging, these don't). Verify them out at 1100 MHz and ran at four-4-four-14 at 1.8V. A bit high priced compared to other ram sets out there now. My initial G.Ability set, had applied Kingston and Corsair for stability in the previous. This set exceeded my expectationsComp set up: E8500 operating at 3.54 GHz, GA-EP45-UD3R MB, 4GB G.Skill one hundred MHZ ram, EVGA 9800 GTX+, X3 600 watt PSU, Freezer 7 pro Rev2. cooler, Antec P182 SE situation. Worked at specification nearly from initially boot on a Maximus II Formula MB. Running at 1112 with a speedy selection in BIOS, at 1.95 V. (just to be protected). RAM sinks are comparatively cool to the touch, and passed Memtest with flying colors. Booted and loaded Windows Vista 64 with both sticks set up, and NO troubles. (BIOS 2104) The tall sinks may interfere with some CPU heatsink models, but was not an concern for me. I have not attempted to overclock these but, but I am going to try for 1200 at above two. V. This is my third set of G.Ability RAM now, and have however to have any troubles with this RAM. I will continue to obtain G.Ability for future builds.

My over-clocked technique is now genuinely stable thanks to superior memory with more "headroom." Operates completely with my ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU mobo and Core2Quad 9505. Correct now on air cooling my CPU is at 3.35Ghz, FSB at 1574Mhz, and memory about 950Mhz. These memory sticks are crazy, some thing out of Star Trek. Anyway, right after 9hrs or Prime95 my highest core temp was 67c on core 1 (rated up to 100c). Im using the Dynatron K987 CPU cooler FYI. 贄 for 4gigs, but you can't place a cost on stability and efficiency truly. The heat sinks make these modules extremely tall.

I've got 8GB of sticks operating at 1066 at five-five-five-15 and 1.8v and every little thing is right on the dollars. None. I commonly order just a smidge higher with respect to specs than I actually need to have so that my method has some wiggle space, which is why I'm running 1100 modules at 1066.

Updating an older overview where I docked an Egg for needing elevated volts. Resolved the situation with G.Skill Cust service. Excellent information beneath if you are using this module with AMD CPU's.G.Skill Cust service was excellent, it took several days of emails, but they lastly assisted get my OC stable. Beneath is one particular of their emails, might be redundant information for authorities, but fantastic to know if you are a developing your initially AMD program with this RAM.A speedy summery is on a AMD Board you may possibly want to contemplate dropping to DDR2 800, and manually reduce the latency to 4 4 4 12 if overclocking. none "AMD DDR2 platforms are restricted to 1 stick per channel. Furthermore, in single channel they can operate above DDR2-800, but in dual channel, most will be limited to DDR2-800.Lowering the timings lower the amount of clock cycles to transfer bits. 1 clock cycle, is roughly the equivalent of 266Mhz. So because you were unable to operate DDR2-1066 CL5 due to too significantly stress on the memory controller (high frequency), lowering the frequency to DDR2-800 reduces the pressure but then lowers the clock cycle (faster). As a result, DDR2-1066 CL5 overall performance is really comparable to DDR2-800 CL4. Normally speaking, AMD platforms respond properly to lower latencies, so overall performance in fact becomes slightly superior with CAS Latency at four rather than a greater frequency that can result in instability as an alternative.Although you could have purchased DDR2-800, you would have had to obtain a high overall performance CL4 module to make similar outcomes. It would essentially be the similar cost as the a single you acquire

Functions at rated speeds!!!!! which is a lot more than i can say for some other brands that commence with a K and finish in ingston. I bough these sticks to run at 1066. NO difficulties. Worked excellent on the 1st attempt (set the timings 5-five-5-5-15 and set speed to 1067 in bios dont forget to set voltage @ 1.9......) Not actually a con, but mine have a unique heat spreader. At initially i thought is was the incorrect ram, but seeking closer, the PI symbol is nevertheless on the heat spreader, and the timings/speed/voltages are the identical. IMO, the newer heat spreader looks nicer. (all black with blue writing /accents. Will be sticking with this memory and 2 others that i have had no situation with. I went out on a limb shopping for something that newegg had in a bundle, worst time of my life receiving them to run at rated speeds, so RMA for refund and spent the added monies to get one thing i knew would be great.
