Worked in my EVGA 790i digital PWM SLI board, they can be picky. Drop in and RUN. Was a good acquire. NONE I picked this RAM due to the fact it had 1.5V operation for DDR-1333, at the time this was rare, I constantly advise this to folks when they are not confident if the modules they want will function as the lower voltage assists compatibility due to a lower noise signature and operating with a generic profile from the bios.

This is basically great RAM. I have had no complications with it and it is blazingly quick. Heat spreaders are nice and it comes with a sticker. None Overclocked my FSB to 1600MHz and this RAM followed wuit without a hiccup. Latencies changed to ten-9-9-24 following the push to 1600 MHz, but this is not a huge deal.

Worked perfectly with my AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE and Gigabyte MA790GPT. No BIOS configuration or tweaking needed. Came up at the correct speed, etc. Nicely-created sticks without having the excessive fins noticed on other RAM, despite the fact that this might limit OC for the "Extremers" out there." None so far. My next 4 GB kit will be G.SKILL too.

Amazingly rapid, acquiring somewhat higher benchmarks then usual. Windows Expertise Index is giving it a 7.5, even although I only have 4GB in there. And frankly, the red heatsinks look pretty sweet. Ran at 1066 MHz out of the box. Some critiques that posted this issue had the correct settings for the memory. Plugged those into my BIOS, and memory ran perfectly at 1333. Halfheartedly searched if G.SKILL sold this memory in single 2GB sticks so I could run this in triple-channel. No luck =/

Genuine great ram, cost for ddr3 is actual amazing!, Quickly no complaints untilllll One stick was defective kept giving me BSOD and i ran some tests and ran the sticks individually to discover the defective piece. Called the shop and they will replace the defective stick for me, hopefully i get one that isnt defective lol. Overall good product, just bad luck i guess. I have trusted G Skill for a whilst now, but these mishaps are starting to increase it seams. I hope this company doesnt grow to be what that Z company became... The ram looks stunning Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe apologize for the inconvenience. All G.Skill memory packages are tested just before getting placed in inventory. I would suggest this cheaper item to anybody out there. Don't waste cash on name brand merchandise, this stuff does what it requires to. I know some folks swear by other names, but take the opportunity and you wont be let down. No naked chicks on heat sink I will prob choose up yet another 4 Gig's to fill the other 2 slots on my MB.

Red, Flashy, and Affordable... Right after a few days following install I began experiencing BSOD and other random shutdowns. Ran memtest on every stick to find the errors on of the sticks. Submitted an RMA and off they go. Getting to pay to ship the defective item back to newegg kind of stings. 9 dollars is not a significant amount by any means, but it will make me reconsider what web site I purchase from in the future.
