Low cost and red ? Apparently lots of folks have issues combining these: ASUS P6X58D-E LGA 1366 Intel X58 and this RAM. Emailed G.Ability assistance who advised me to modify my bios settings - Did not work. Fortunately atleast 4gbs of this are identified by my computer. Lame help from G.Skill and Asus on this. It's attainable that 1 stick is DOA and it's not a dilemma w/ the Mobo/RAM not working properly together .. Great memory, i know they test each module just before it leaves so I like to obtain from them. to get it to run at 1333 in my EVGA X58 board i had to set the voltage to 1.66 in the bios, 1.65 doesn't function for some purpose... I utilised 9-9-9-24 2t and every little thing. I also can't take the time to RMA since I'm building for a consumer who wants the Pc now, and it's not a huge enough deal to RMA more than imo because at 1.66 i can run 24 hours of linpak or memtest 86+. Affordable DDR3. i7 capable. 1 dead DIMM out of the box. I ran memtest and narrowed down the poor stick. I read a different evaluation in here about RMA'ing via the manufacturer rather of newegg so I would only have to send back my defective DIMM and not all 3 of them.You can reach their RMA department at rma@gskill.com.
