Super rapidly, 1 of the best on the market so far. Mine benched in at 210 mb/s read and 160 mb/s write (average), really impressive, write is speed is mind-blowing.Nice of G.Skill to include a 2.five" to 3.5" adaptor.Excellent support over on the G.Skill forums, if you can understand their terrible English, frequent firmware updates, guidelines, tricks, and so on. SSD's are still new and unpredictable. The Sandforce-1200 based OCZ Vertex2's are dropping like flies, hopefully that's an problem only with OCZ and not the controller and/or firmware. Make positive you're running this drive in AHCI mode. Performance in IDE mode was horrible in comparison, enough that it was noticable it actual-world use, not just benchmarks.Check out the G.Skill forums or some type of SSD guide so you can correctly configure your technique. If you basically drop in and go, you will not be getting maximum performance and you'll wear out your drive faster.

- Finding Cheaper.- Speedy SandForce Controller.- Decent Boot Drive Size- So far no issues. - None but. I had a Patriot PS-100 and it failed in 6 months, piece of garbage, plus it didnt have a sandforce controller in it. This drive smokes it and seems a lot more trustworthy so far.

This Difficult Drive is extremely quick i enjoy it had no problem with it however works like a charm would recommend to everybody The Cost is little high but is worth of income for that speed I would adore to but few far more of these but for now 1 is ok with me

Cost of ๑. DOA. First product I have ever received DOA from NewEgg. (Not their fault.) I waited till all my personal computer parts arrived just before opening this drive. Its been five weeks because I ordered it. Im stationed in Germany so its an extra week to 10 days for stuff to arrive. I cant RMA it to New Egg so I ought to now contact G.Skill. Fast, effortless to install and come with 3.five" adapter plate Bought 2 this FM-25S2S-60GBP2 to replace my old Intel and OCZ SSD. Even so, 1 came DOA and issue RMA from Newegg and shipped back. The other 1 installed windows 7 64bits to use one day then fail, not boot. BIOS even can not come across this drive anymore. Plug the drive in three different desktops and 2 laptops, making use of eSATA, external USB, changing new SATA cables, power connectors, but all didn't function. Poor Good quality. Now have to problem a different RMA once more for second drive. I have to switch back to my old Intel and OCZ SSD and wait for 2 RMA. Wasting time and price twice shipping.Also, firmware update is really inconvenience. Only can update under AHCI mode, not working nVIDIA chipset or other OS.
