Operates excellent with my GA-P55-UD4PAffordableRapidGet a couple of these and have an 8gig machine and make all your pals jealous.G-Ability RMA is Awesome. I had a stick go undesirable. There is no such issue as a memory brand that has a .00000% fail rate. What impressed me is that G.Ability has a lifetime warranty for its ram (assuming you don't do anything dumb and tear up the heat spreader or label) They let you to send in just 1 module, even if the kit came with 2. Every other manufacturer forces you to send in the pair for RMA. I employed a USPS padded envelope to mail in the negative module, and I got a new 1 back from them inside a week. There is a bit of wiggle room with overclocking. But I by no means like to push RAM a lot previous its stock speeds. Some would put a module going poor as a CON, but you're going to encounter this after in a even though with any brand and variety of technology. I have been working with this ram for more than a year now on my GA-P55-UD4P. Don't listen to any individual who says that this ram will not perform on this board!!I encountered some difficulties attempting to push the RAM passed 1390 MHz, but I don't like attempting to force the concern with RAM, so I left it alone. I do think you really should consider a firm's RMA policy anytime you are thinking about what to buy. It is a pain when you discover out that they want you to send each modules when you 1 goes poor... leaving your technique with no memory until they send some back to you. Even worse, some won't let you RMA soon after a certain period of time.

I will often get GSkill RAM from now on.. i purchased these aprox 1 year ago for 贎 every, and i got four of them, i nevertheless have them and i'm moving them into my 6 core rig, i had adequate head room to O.C them to 1600 stable and 7-7-7-21 timings, a tiny voltage improve and it's been that way for about 6 months, the heat spreaders in no way got hot. Not a factor These are excellent for gamining, the timings are tight and they can even be Overclocked, GSkill = Win product.

This ram!!! The timings are incredible. They get about 7.five in the wei on win7, but boy howdy, right after overclocking my cpu and all I got this running at 1400 and it get a 7.eight! None none and more none! I imply, soon after all, I have a wife to make me toast! I place this on a lil ole micro biostar 785ghd mobo with an amd 720BE that was being used on an amd am2+ board, also biostar. I couldn't get it to hold anyplace close to the overclocks that I can with the am3 board and the ddr3 ram. The timings I use are all 7's and 22,24 and all the ns things set to 90ns. I use a 13 multi on my cpu with a bus of 270. It will take the nb up to 5400 MT/s and the hyperthreading to 2100 and this ram to a whopping 7.8 on the wei. WOOT! You can't get this unless you overclock the complete board, not just up the multi. Have entertaining. I have constructed a lot of amd boards and have always found Gskill to perform on all of them. Not just operate, but function nicely. I trust them for all my amd builds, for myself and consumers. Need to get an amd 955BE like my personal build, that gets 7.four stock in wei with 8gigs of Gskill. I use 2x2gigs of this good stuff. I run these at 1.6 volts.

The timings and overclockability. I put this on a biostar 785ghd am3 board to upgrade my son's board using my very 1st am3 cpu, 720BE. My now 955BE is on an AM3 790fx and it was generating his board look extremely old. I use Gskill 4x2gigs on mine running at the 8 timings. My board runs win7 pro 64bit verses his ddr2 biostar am2+ board and vista 64bit. I felt sorry for him so I upgraded his and now it rocks.....almost like mine. The 720BE seriously shines on an am3 board with it's native ddr3 ram. None, I got a WEI on win7 of 7.5 prior to overclock. The 720BE on a ddr2 board is ok, but quite nice on a ddr3 board as long as you acquire these and not a thing cheap. I have purchased others and out of 3 other various brands muskin was the only other I would think about over these when it comes to amd boards, incredibly difficult choice although. Intel boards would be a entire new ball game, but I hear these kick rear on these too. In the last year I have built more than 7 amd rigs employing gskill, distinct timings, and all have worked perfectly!!! Most had been for clientele so overclocking wasn't completed, just compatability. Mine and my son's were purchased through experience working with Gskill for client amd builds. I also identified out that gigabyte boards had been not the finest for overclocking, that may have just been me although, but other boards were better at it. I have used Gskill over the final year for all but 2 am3 builds. A single out of the two I didn't use it on was quite finicky, the other was cheaper and acted as such, but worked well for a client. These nonetheless are for personal rigs that need to have good timings and are overclockable. Am3 cpu's only have clocks produced for ddr3 1333, something else is overclock. I utilised ddr3 1600 prior to, but found that a good set of 1333 will execute just as nicely as they do, even in overclocking. I ran these at 1440 utilizing 7-7-7-21-24 and all the ns factors set to 90ns. Anywhere my mobo gave me an selection of operating it a 7, I set it to that. I got these up to 7.8 on wei, win7 pro 64bit. I have under no circumstances got any ddr3 memory over 7.6 before these.Utilizing a biostar 785ghdamd 720BE, 7. wei oc'dthis ram 7.8 wei oc'dati 5750 7.three wei period.WD 1tb driveI know I know, last gen mobo, but it's nevertheless an am3 board and an older cpu, but I needed to get this cpu onto a board other then ddr2, there is a major distinction.

- Value- Excellent Performance- Heat Sinked - None so far- OC difficulties? * See Review I have often applied either Corsair or Kingston memory in past builds. After some research and various critiques I decided to give this memory a try. It was effectively worth it. So significantly that I decided to add one more pair to my program taking the total to 8 GBs. My present system is not overclocked so I do not know how the Gskill will do. Nevertheless, by way of some research I find that most testers on the inet really feel that it does not execute nicely while overclocked. For the cost even though you can not complain and I have not the will need for overclocking in my present system running an i5 cpu. Make confident you verify with your mobo manufacturer to see about compatibility.

I necessary memory to operate in a DFI Lan Party AMD board that neither my OCZ or Patriot memory would operate in. Yes I do check QVL lists but I picked these up employed and could not be picky. I bought this G.Ability specifically for the DFI and it operates on all my boards I attempted it in. Not only does it perform but it works incredibly well. I don't have to set the RAM spd manually like I do with OCZ Auto detect reads as it need to. It's rapid, it's incredibly great searching and it cost much less than Corsair or OCZ. My new fav memory quickly! I wish I attempted G.Skill sooner. These are my first. Due to the fact I have purchased two other different kits and they also work as good if not better for the boards I'm employing them on.

I was getting issues working with OCZ DDR3 RAM in my computer. I decided to attempt a different brand of RAM, and boy!, Am I glad I did! This RAM, when I set the parameters in the method BIOS, cleared up all of the BSOD's and lock-ups I was having employing the OCZ RAM. Installs easily if you know how to set the 7-7-7-21 and 1.five volts in your BIOS. Runs quickly and smooth as silk. None, no way, no how. GSkill rocks! Heat spreaders seemed to be of good high quality; ASUS-rated-compatible with the M4a89GTD Pro USB3 Board. Runs stable on the lower 1.5V range, leaving plenty of area to Overclock I mislead myself into thinking the Frequency of this ram was 1333Mhz. Timings defaulted to 9-9-9-24 but simply fixed to set to advertised timing spec. Dont forget DDR implies Double Information Rate. The Ram really operates around 667Mhz. I dont assume this adversely affects performance. According to wikipedia DDR3 need to be stable to about 1000Mhz (or 2000 MT/s or DDR3 2000) - also quoting wikipedia the DDR3 standard will take voltages up to a small more than 1.9V prior to frying.... so once again, theres area to grow with these G.Skill sticks But constantly do your homework! Make certain the model ram you get is listed on your motherboard's manufacturer page as a compatible device.

-Incredibly rapidly for the value. 1333 MHz with 7 CAS is (or was at the time of this evaluation) unbeatable for 100 dollars (in the DDR3 category).-It seems to be fantastic for overclocking. I've got it running at an simple 1.five GHz, but I haven't truly tried to locate the limit. -Should set timing manually (not an issue for me).-1 stick arrived warped (see other thoughts). 1 of the sticks in the package was warped due to a bent heat-spreader. It ought to have occurred ahead of packaging too since the other one was fine and so was the package. It nonetheless worked for about a month, too. Gskill was great about the RMA following that.
