GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: Gigabyte software is average at best.

Pros: Price/Features
Comment:
I bought this for my AMD Phenom II 1050T. Very steady so far and has all the bells I needed. One thing I don't like is the documentations and software provide by Gigabyte, not the best. Compares to my MSI video card software/document, MSI wins.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: none so far

Pros: Inexpensive; USB 3.0; 3-year manufacture warranty
Comment:
I'm not really tech savvy so this is a layperson's review. Bought this board for my Athlon II x4. It has all the features I want (USB 3.0, support up to Phenom II x6, eSATA) and none of the features I don't need (on board video, more than one PCIEX16 slots). Comes with a Dolby Digital case sticker that can make your HTPC looks awesome cool if you are into that kind of thing, but if you're building a HTPC you're probably better off getting a board with on-board video.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: Not very overclockable. Was only able to get 10% increase from 1090T chip, which i've had clocked to 4ghz on my old board.

Pros: Stable at default speeds. Reliable parts, eSata and mini usb a asset.
Comment:
This was bought as a cheap replacement for my server PC.I put in a 1090T chip which i had spare and was only able to get 3.8ghz overclock compared to 4.0ghz i had for that chip in it's old board. The mini usb is handy and i use it all the time. The USB 3.0 is cool, but i haven't been able to use anything with it yet so i can't comment on that.I've had no HW related issues other then the lack of overclock ability.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: -No Crossfire (chipset 870 limitations)

Pros: -Price-Overclocking capabilities
Comment:
Using this board (revision 2.1) with a Phenom II x4 965BE. Newest AMD chipset (870), if you're not planning to have multiple video cards, I'm sure it will suits your needs.Using G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws PC3-10666 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL7-7-7-21 memory and have no issues. I had to download NEC USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 7 X64.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: none at the moment

Pros: Lots of USB 2.0 ports (8) Good pricing for what you get
Comment:
Got it for my new set up to use with Phenom II x4 955. Having this MB support sata3, I got a 1TB WD sata3 HDD and loading my solid works files from it, I can definitely see a difference from my old sata HDD. It also supports USB 3.0 but I have no accessories with USB 3.0 now so cannot really comment on it.Another plus point that comes with the MB are the softwares. I just started getting into overclocking and this MB is definitely beginner friendly. And if you do not want to get your hands dirty with manually changing the bios, the Easy Tuner would help you OC a little just by simply hitting a button (kind of). For the price I paid, I am definitely getting a good deal out of it.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: Needs 500w Power Supply or large (preferabbly larger)Uses 4 Pin CPU and SYS Fan Connectors (Not the usual 3)

Pros: Great functionality and quite expandable.Stable under Extreme Load.Runs very cool due to Copper PCB Layers
Comment:
I bought this board to match an AMD Athlon II x4 635 and WoW what a match! This board is stable and runs very cool. It has alot of internal and external expansion capability. This board is a great deal and for this price easily competes with more expensive boards out there. As always Gigabyte Makes a good Product and They Stand Behind their products 100%

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: Very long graphic card may block some SATA connectors

Pros: USB 3.0SATA 3Very high built quality
Comment:
I use this board with an Athlon II X3 445. Works flawlessly and the default settings of the board, decided by the Intelligent Tweaker, are just right. No need to adjust anything in the BIOS.The onboard audio is fine, but not up to what you may get with a discrete card. However, it will fits the need of most users, as long you're not a hardcore gamer or don't use your PC as HiFi audio system.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons: no heatsink for the power delivery MOSFETS (but you can complain for low price)

Pros: abundant featuresgood pricecore unlock featurerelatively good overclocker
Comment:
I have my phenom x3 720 unlocked to 4 cores at 3.5ghz at 1.45volts. Running very stable. My only concern is the power MOSFETS in which they get very hot if I increase the voltage more than 1.45volts. Overall great motherboard with plenty of features. If your not planing to dual video card in the future, definitely get this board.
