This board was simple to set up and runs nicely just like my other Gigabyte board. The good quality of the board appears on par with far more pricey Gigabyte boards, just fewer attributes. It does seem to demand 1.5V memory and I would not suggest varying from this. It has their "ultra-sturdy" 2oz. copper with the solid state caps and a related bios to my X58 board. It is uncomplicated to overclock both the memory and CPU. I built this Pc as a backup CAD workstation for running 1 of the most demanding CAD apps out there and it performs really effectively, exceeding my expectations. None, the value is correct for a spending budget construct.i3 530 operating at three.5GhzCorsair XMS DDR3 4GB 1333 OC'd to 1600 Not certain where the"cheap board" comments come from as the build top quality appears fine. Of course the on-board video will only work with particular core processors.Whatever motherboard you buy, just go to the producers website and read all the specs, read the compatibility charts and download the manual first......

NONE There seems to be a challenge with the video drivers GIGABYTE is offering. After i install the drivers i shed my video out by way of HDMI. THe only way to fix it is to uninstall the video drivers or reinstall with no rebooting. However, when i reboot, shutdown, and so forth. I lose the video output by means of HDMI GIGABYTE assistance SUCKS. Which is a shame since i really liked their merchandise but there is no way i will be getting something with their name on it anymore. If some how GIGABYTE can redeem themselves i might reconsider. It's blue. Our motherboard is fundamentally defective. We were not aware that the core i-five DIY kit that we bought did not contain a video card or an integrated GPU. We made a trip to the nearby electronics retailer to get a video card, following installing it onto the motherboard, when we powered it on it would continually reset itself in a five second interval, during this 5 second interval we nevertheless didn't see any trace of a display on our monitor. Until Gigabyte somehow fixes this challenge, we do not advise any individual to purchase this motherboard or acquire any DIY kit with this component. It's a Gigabyte Board It doesn't operate!! I hit my power button and the LED Indicator flashes for a moment and turns proper back off. Does not even turn on for a second. Tried a unique power provide which is operating on an additional develop and similar result. Tried to contact Gigabyte but they had been closed (they will need to get 24ǝ tech assistance)!! I've ordered a ton of motherboards from New Egg and I've usually been happy. Even my final open box ASUS board is still going sturdy. I constantly wanted to get a Gigabyte board due to the fact of the ease of installing Mac OSX that most users on Hackintosh forums say, so I lastly ordered a Gigabyte board out of frustration with other brands + Mac OSX and it doesn't even turn on!! After this brick came in, I was in a position to install OSX on a close friends Biostar board and it was about ฮ more affordable than this a single, and IT Operates! Dont get this board. NONE! I bought this MB with a NewEgg HTPC SuperCombo deal, and like most other people here, the board will start out for a second and shutdown. I am fully flabbergasted NewEgg would continue to sell a board with so several unfavorable posts about this concern. I as well did not read the feedback just before ordering. I honestly haven’t had an issue with a NewEgg purchases for so extended I’ve grown complacent reading evaluations. This is also my initially Gigabyte obtain. I would typically have bought an ASUS or SuperMicro board but this looked like a good deal. The combo came with a Gigabyte graphics card (GV-R577SO-1GD) as nicely. Functions and functions for vanilla support of Intel i3, 4 GB Corsair memory, disks, peripherals, and so forth. all there. Worked reasonably well. Initial startup, acquiring to the BIOS setup, loading updated drivers and flashing current BIOS release all were a piece of cake. (except the part that required Windows, due to the fact I couldn't get there very easily due to sneaky intermittent dilemma, see below. When I could get Windows, these parts also worked nicely.) The program appeared to work but in no way booted Windows 7 effectively with 4 GB, crashing just just before becoming prepared to run user applications. Couldn't ascertain if this was a W7 or Gigabyte difficulty. Was able to run adequate to install W7 and load my Effortless Transfer information with single 2 GB mem stick, then use for a couple of days. But the crashes were persistent, but intermittent. Returning the board for replacement. Giving this a tentative two, based on my experience getting a defective unit and I like stuff to give good diagnosis of failure modes. Am attempting a second unit and will revise my opinion if it functions flawlessly and is stable.Gigabyte tech support listened to what I had tried and what was going on. Recommended feasible sneaky brief, to attempt operating with board outside case, and if that didn't operate, send it back. It's the intermittent failure that wasted a ton of my time. You're nevertheless hunting at 2 - ten mins to reboot W7 generally or protected mode or off the repair CD. So trying unique BIOS settings to see if that's the result in takes a long time.Newegg RMA procedure easy, no hassle.

I picked this up inexpensive as a ShellShocker a couple of months ago, as I was slowly collecting components to construct my brother a new Computer for college this fall. We've now managed to get all the parts, and this board (rev 1., F4 BIOS) merely functions as it must with an i3-530. He has a discrete GPU, but the integrated graphics from the CPU are handy for troubleshooting purposes. This budget mATX, as intended, doesn't have all the capabilities of a larger, more costly board.

The board functions, haven't put it through any OC as however. Combo deal- Purchased the deal simply because it looked excellent - Intel I5 chip, 4GB Ram, drive, case etc, for a excellent price tag. The problems: I5-750 does not have onboard graphics processor - can't use onboard video - need to add a card. The PS mounts on the bottom, the 12v four-pin CPU connector is at the other end of the board, have to run the cable Under the front lip of the, now important, graphics card. Tight fit and a stretch. Till I connected the stretched 12v cable, the board powered on and off after 1 second consistently. RAM ought to be in the white slots.Should have external graphics with the I5-750. Not clear in ANY documentation - only found it by checking these comments. Hope this helps. Manufacturer Response:Thank you for your comments. Truthful and constructive opinions are usually welcome. We apologize for your difficulty with your Gigabyte item.I am sorry that you did not discover the specifics when getting the combo deal. We are operating with Newegg to highlight this more clearly. At present on the Newegg internet site product, click on the Specifications tab, and subsequent to "Onboard Video", it lists "None."I hope this clears up everything.Gigabyte VIP Help Team

I purchased the Newegg combo package with the i5-750 CPU. I also added two much more sticks of RAM (for a total of 8GB) and an XFX Radeon HD 5770 video card. For the initial boot I discovered I required to have only a single stick of RAM installed in slot DDR3_1 (second slot away from CPU). Right after installing drivers and verifying issues had been operating as they really should, I installed the other three sticks of RAM with no problem. The supplied manual is outstanding. Along with the expected tech specs, it has great step-by-step installation directions. I advise reading it just before obtain to make confident it has the information you need. It is on the item page at http://www.gigabyte.us/Support/Motherboard/Manual_Model.aspx?ProductID򕯉GIGABYTE does a greater job than most upating their BIOS and drivers. I have located this to be a rock solid platform at the default settings or even bumped up a modest quantity. I am not an overclocker so I can't speak to what outcomes to anticipate at a lot more aggressive settings. When employing the elements in the combo package, the CPU power cord on the Rosewill PSU is at its length limit. It crosses more than the video card and is barely lengthy adequate reach to the 4-pin ATX connector. This won't be a difficulty if you use a case with a top rated-mounted PSU, but do maintain it in thoughts if seeking at other instances or PSUs. I bought the i5-750 combo package and have no qualms recommending it to others. But just before getting I recommend researching the person elements to make confident they will do what you need. Also look at the manuals on the web to make sure you have a clear concept of what to expect throughout the develop method. Though the GIGABYTE manual is outstanding, the NZXT manual leaves substantially to be desired and the Rosewill PSU manual is someplace in among. A tiny time spent up front will save a lot of time when making or troubleshooting.

Excellent layout, got it in the combo deal and all but one particular thing went together very good. Not considerably else to say other than it functions and works very good. 2x2 12v is at the really best so it was a stretch receiving the cord from the bottom of the case all the way to the best but it's not just the fault of the mobo it's a little bit the case and power supplies fault also. Not all the screws match up with my case, so plugging in the 24 pin connector scared the hell out of me(was afraid I would snap the board simply because there was no screws holding the end of it)

Got this on a Daily Deal a couple of weeks back, about ๖ I feel. Followed directions in manual and it booted up incredibly initially time. I've observed some write-ups right here complaining about complications with this board but I haven't noticed them. I've got the Core i3-530 and it clocks along at 28 degrees C at idle, not overclocked. Ahead of I installed OS, I played with the overclocking functions and pushed the 2.93 to three.2 without having any trouble what so ever. Will mess with it additional now that OS (Windows 7 Pro) is installed and operating. Only issue so far is I've got two hardware items that show a difficulty below the method properties, a PCI device, and an HD audio device. My PCI device is operating (WLAN Card), and my audio operates. Not positive what the matters are but. Also, no PCIEX 1x slots, only two of the bigger PCIEX slots and two PCI slots. Wish it had USB3, and the price tag was more affordable. Shouldn't complain, Newegg hasn't accomplished me incorrect in 7+ years of performing company with them!

Lots of possibilities in the BIOS. Especially for adjusting voltages which are applied at an offset. Which means I can undervolt an nonetheless let EIST do its factor. Works with G.Ability's ECO low voltage memory even though it's not at present on the list of supported boards. The socket placement is a little lower than I would like. My Scythe Mugen heat sink and Sapphire HD4670 Ultimate heat sink are actually close and just barely fit. Meanwhile, there's a lot of area about the CPU.Just like with just about every other Gigabyte board I have, the memory either runs .1V higher than spec or is just reported greater than it's running. My 1.35V memory is running at 1.44V. Other setups I've got run DD3 1.5V at 1.6V and DD2 1.8V at 1.9V. Gigabyte, what up with that? I was initially thinking of going with the Intel H55 board as it appears use much less power than any other. Even though that comes at the loss of any tweaking in the BIOS and a fairly bare-bones motherboard. This one was on sale and I've been happy with my other Gigabyte boards so I went for it. I undervolted the CPU by about .175V which dropped the load energy by about 12W AC (ㅂWDC). That was nice but no amount of undervolting brought the idle power down at all. Even so, with only a two.5" laptop drive plugged it, it ran at about 28W AC. Assuming about 70% effective for the picoPSU setup I tested on and that means it was almost certainly just under 20W DC. Fairly impressive nevertheless.Current Method Specs:Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2HIntel Core i3-530G.Skill ECO DD3 1333 (CAS 7)SuperTalet GX 64GB SSDSapphire HD4670 UltimateScythe Mugen two rev BSeasonic SS-350ETTelevision Wonder 650 PCI

With specific brands, I've wasted so considerably time and emotional power occasionally carrying out just the simplest items.
