Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard I recieved my Gigabyte Mobo and AMD cpu bundle at around 5:00 in the evening. I handed it over to my 17 year old son and he had it up and running by 7:00 and it has performed well ever since. It is a good medium level bundle. If you want a good value and don't need upper end speed this combo will do the job.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard First build in several years and the first from this mfg. Instructions are excellent and the install went smoothly. All features are working and the utility for checking temps and voltage are nice. Overclocking isn't necessary for my apps. Power management is great. W7 at 64 bit runs smooth with 4gb of RAM.

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core CPU I haven't tried to overclock yet... but not much need to as it's 3.40Ghz x 4 right out of the box. I bought a 3rd party heatsink and fan, but the one supplied is good enough if your not planning to overclock - it is solid copper with heat pipes.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard If you are upgrading or building a computer from the ground up, I highly recommend this. Purchased this in the packaged deal and I cannot believe the difference this has made.Easy installation with maybe an hour and half in time to install.I am running it as I speak.Had to call customer support to verify one question I had and they did just that. 2 thumbs up!The performance of this combination package is easily worth the money and I have had no problems.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard Had an HP Pavilion a6650f with no video output. This motherboard allowed me to keep the processor (CPU), CPU heat sink with fan, RAM, case, hard drive, and operating system with only MB chip set and driver updates to windows. Was drop in replacement with exception of front panel audio jacks and internal speaker. Screws lined up perfectly. Needed to replace the power supply with 500 watt or better power supply. Used the Ultra LSP550 with great results.

Corsair Dominator 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 Memory I made the upgrade from WinXP 32bit to Windows 7 64 bit. Was already running 2 x 1024MB of PC 8500 Corsair Dominator PC8500. This put me up to 6GB of RAM and the difference is very noticeable. It was worth the price, very good, very reliable.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard Gonna sound silly, but I could run Half-Life 2 without a hitch on full settings just using the integrated HD 4200 integrated graphics processor, along with a Phenom II x2 and 2 Gigs of RAM. Also, the dual BIOS should be handy if the main one were to ever go out. All in all, doesn't hurt to try it. On top of that, nice that there's Firewire built-in, and expansions for more.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard On board chip set is great, fast easy to put in my tower had enough slots for basic things and the dual bio's worth it. Only down side is that everything is kinda close to make it a tight fit when you start filling all the slots up.

Corsair Dominator 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 MemoryRan for 5 days and then all sort of strange things started happening (and YES, the RAM maker and my MoBo maker said this RAM would work), RMA'd it after the holidays and they said ship it back, now I'm waiting for an exchange, I still say this product is great and so is this company.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard POSTed perfectly first time with 4G RAM and 955 Phenom II. Fast WinXP boot times but longer to shutdown. Wonder why? Was surprised to find that 4 pin power works as well as 8 pin so I now have an extra PS. May use the old 4 pin PS to build another system with a sibling of this board... ;-) Lotsa features, including 1394 header for my old case. Didn't try RAID. HDMI video quality is great but I'm struggling to get sound to my new HDMI monitor. That may be a monitor problem, not this MB. 4 pin sys fan header actually works as PWM fan despite what the manual says. But I found better cooling in my tight case by using a PWM case fan which connects to CPU PWM fan & runs proportional to CPU fan. I dislike the Gbyte overclocking and HW monitoring software compared to other vendors, but it will suffice. Overall I'd recommend this MB for folks who want a good general purpose board feature rich with moderate overclocking ability.

Corsair Dominator 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 Memory This RAM is aweome for any machine. I finally upgraded from Corsair Dominator PC6400 DDR2 800 MHz (2x1024) to these and let me tell you what a world of difference. And together with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I can't wait to get another 4GB. There is just no comparison to what I once had, Corsair has never let me down, it unfortunate that some people have received DOA chips, I personnally have never had any issues.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard I found this motherboard to be excellent. The manual was well written and explained all the connections very clearly. It's the small details I like for example the connections for the case controls were clearly colour coded so hook up was simple.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard Bought one of these MBs. Once installed, it booted up alright, 3 times. Then it wouldn't even POST. RMA'd it (Tiger is best at standing behind the products they sell) and exchanged it for another. Second one didn't POST right out of the box. This may not be a problem with the MB. I exchanged this MB for an ASUS and discovered that I had a bad RAM stick (also new). After IDing and removing the bad RAM I've had no problems.

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard I bought this motherboard bundled with an Athlon II 250 CPU to upgrade my system for Windows 7. The installation of the hardware and Win7 went without a hitch. I had used Gigabyte products before but was so impressed with this board and CPU I bought another set for my downstairs PC. The only drawback as far as I am concerned is the lack of a second IDE connector on the motherboard. Since I was only running IDE drives in my old PC I had to install a PCI IDE controller card so I could run both my old hard drives and DVD reader and my new SATA drive all at the same time to upgrade to Win7 and migrate my data files. If you are only running SATA drives then that is not a problem. Other than that the board has performed flawlessly.
