Required a new video card to replace my old Galaxy 9500 GT, and WOW, what a step up. I can finally play Forged Alliance with graphics above minimum! :) (As a side note, this card takes away the graphics bottleneck I had, which has now been replaced by a CPU bottleneck, so I don't feel confident commenting on seriously high level gaming graphics, but for the econo-level purchase I wanted, its wonderful)I did a thorough search by Newegg's video cards based on the "Graphics card hierarchy chart" from tomshardware.com. I spent the better part of a evening Ɠ to 4 hours) working up a price tag comparison chart to locate the "best" deal. The HD 5770 was a fantastic deal more affordable than the next tier; correct at the top rated of my "sweet spot". Installation was easy; I plugged it in, and it worked. No complications with driver installation (XP64 program), and each monitors worked with no concern -- a single of which is *very* old and required the adapter that came w/the card. I ordered two cards by mistake, which wouldn't have happened if Newegg's order processing program updated more rapidly (I checked my account after five min, but it said I never ordered anything, so I ordered it once more). I'm genuinely happy with the card, so I'm going to maintain the additional until I get a mainboard w/dual PCI express so I can check out the Crossfire engineering. I wish I had a proper board, as I read a lot about how Crossfire *can* be a pain to set up. As it is, think of my 4 eggs not as missing an egg, but additional an egg that hasn't been earned however. If I had been in a position to test it out, and it worked, I would have given it a five rating.I'm gonna get in touch with it my error on the additional card and just eat it till I get a new mainboard; Newegg has served my incredibly well more than the final ... decade? I can't even recall when I last bought from some other internet site, and I've never had a problem with something I bought. Hey newegg, if you read this critique, put a great mobo on shellshocker so I can buy it and check this 2nd card out ;)

Ran rapidly and quiet. For the a single month it ran. Entirely fried my computer (save for the HDD) when it went out right after one particular month. The replacement went out after being in the computer for half an hour, but fortunately didn't take the pc with it that time. I would by no means reccomend this card, or the corporation that makes it, to any person. Their client help is lousy, to say the quite least. NewEgg replaced this card for me, and the replacement turned out to be junk as nicely. Even even though the 2nd replacement was outdoors the 30 day window, NewEgg still gave me a refund, which impressed me with their CS division.

Linux driver available, quiet, quickly. Absolutely nothing so far. It's as extended as most video cards these days, but double thick. It takes up two MB PCI slots. The copper heat pipes are a nice touch. No complications with fan noise at all.

I purchased one of these for a budget gaming setup I was building for my wife. At the time it as on sale + had a mail in rebate of 30 bucks.. so we got it for about 80 (if I ever get my rebate back ;P). You can't beat this for the price tag. Factory clocked I'm getting a 7.four WEI, 107frames in WoW, 73 frames on intense graphics settings on SC2 (starcraft II). Runs about 38ºc with stock cooling and the setup listed in 'other' beneath.. gets to about 70ºC below heavy load though gaming.. which is regular/safe. - You genuinely just can't beat this for a sub-100 card at all. Awesome =p None so far, snapped correct in.. loaded right up. Quite quiet. Switching from a ASUS 4850 which is the hottest loudest card I have ever owned. I have this exact model in my son's Computer due to the fact December. Barely know his technique is on. Runs WOW at Max settings at 80+ frames. None Yet Thinking of stealing his card and passing along the 4850 to him and crossfiring, not a very fatherly thing to do.

7.four on both catagorys on the windows index, hit the set to default button in all games and they shoot up to high or ultra based on the game, i do have intent on purchasing another and cross-firing them together. The fan shield is not sealed so hot air does seep off the card but very good venting need to cure that difficulty It is a little huge in size but its not a difficulty for a complete or mid atx case, i (me personally) would not try to put this in a mini atx situation or a mini atx mother board for that reality

Rapid card and ran great for 7 months. HIS is identified to construct some quickly and quiet graphics cards. Watching a youtube video and the screen went blank. Computer no longer boots with card installed though spare card functions fine in it. The worst portion is the only telephone numbers on the web page are in China (Not toll-cost-free) and I've but to acquire a response through their on the net help center. Till HIS can show a lot more work to supporting their items you may want to stick to a different brand. I bought the HIS card cuz they're famously quiet (at least ICQ line). Subsequent time I require to verify the assistance alternatives on the mfg's internet site just before I get. They far better have a U.S. or toll-cost-free quantity for assistance. Newegg is fantastic! The card installed with no difficulties. Updated drivers from HIS web web site, uncomplicated set up. It couldn't have gone far better. Runs very quiet, I have to turn off process fans to hear the vdeo card fan. None at this time with the card. Had difficulty with acquiring my address set up in the rebate, hope they will give me my funds, I don't want to have to fight for it. I'm not a big gamer, this was a single of the cards that Tom'sHardware reviewed as "Best video cards for the cash". The overview just came out the initially of 2011. With the rebate and dicount from Newegg, the cards was less cash than the HD 5750. I constructed my method final year and I am upgrated thing that need to have performed. This video card will take care of my demands for the subsequent couple of years. I have had other video cards from HIS and have always been great.

Rapid enough to play quite a few games on highest settings at 1680 x 1050. Comparatively quiet. Soon after about 3 weeks of install, games would commence to freeze where I couldn't continue and I would have to kill the process. By the 4th week, surfing the net would freeze up the world wide web browser (Google Chrome) at specified instances. Now even booting Windows 7 at times tends to make it freeze. It now tends to make a little clicking noise randomly from the fan.Still waiting on HIS to respond back via their online help. As others have pointed out, there is no number to call for US support...only on the internet submission forms. Also, keep is thoughts that if you RMA with HIS, there is a minimum 30 day turn around time. Yes, read it again, 30 days. Troubleshot everything, like reformatting. Ultimately even bought a new power supply to possibly resolve it...didn't enable.Take it from me, do your research meticulously ahead of shopping for your video card. Such a nice card for a pretty low value. A single card can pretty considerably play just about every new game out there. Utilized the AMD Overdrive, maxed it out at 960MHz GPU and 1445MHz on mem, did a FurMark benchmark test for the heat, didn't go passed 50c. Stays really cool. Like it. Nothing actually. It demands to sing me to sleep.

Value. I ordered 2 of these for crossfire. I noticed although installing them on my ASUS Sabertooth 1366 board that they were very close. In truth so close that the heatsink screws from the bottom card stuck up into the fan location of the leading card. I tryed pulling them apart but I couldn't pull them far enough apart to get it working as expected. Other than the above note, this appears to be a decent card. I ordered an active adapter and now have three 20" 1600x1200 monitors operating off the single card. The other card I ordered it going into yet another i7. So general it wasn't a terrible knowledge.

I purchased this card at an extremely fantastic price point and it has performed fantastic so far. In fact, I'm possibly going to buy one more one particular tonight as I can get an additional ส rebate from HIS (just like with earlier obtain). In crossfire, this card can carry out up to 90% more rapidly (see Tom's Hardware for detailed overview against 4850 X2, 5850, and Nvidia cards), which is why I'm acquiring yet another a single to run in crossfire. None so far. With rebates, you can get crossfire overall performance rivaling greater finish graphic cards for 赨 (财 - ฮ rebate X 2 cards).

Good card for less than 贄.00. A lot nicer heatsink and fan than in some of the previous HIS cards I have had in the past. None so far ! The cards fan was genuinely quiet compared to my XFX 5870 and the misses Sapphire 5770. Even at 90% the HIS card was significantly quieter than each of the other cards at 65%. I would advise this card to everyone who is looking for a cheap direct X 11 compatable card.

Directx11HD5000 series cardLow temps - Idle is 30c plus and load it is at 40c - 50c.Comes with Xfire bridge. Top quality of supplies and design.Artifacts for the duration of WEI.Screen goes blank randomly.Does not overclock. General feeling of the card is that it is cheaply created. Upgraded from an XFX 4770 to this HIS 5770 and my 4770 is made greater, overclocks much better and has had zero issues. HIS 5770 materials are low cost. Did a clean install of newest Catalyst drivers- uninstall totally and put a fresh install in in the course of the install. I have had complications with the 5770 with my screen flashing and going black for the duration of load and even though idle. WEI caused artifacts and image distortion. Very first WEI post was a four.6 for AERO. This has not gone up to 7.four. Card is not stable. I would suggest going with a various brand (XFX, ASUS, GIGABYTE) if you are planning on the 5770. I recognize I may have just got a bad card but my general feeling is HIS is of poor high quality. I will RMA and go for the XFX 6850.
