Affordable, step up from my 5750 by just a small Internet site says it's PCI-E 2.1 compatible...it's not. Only 2.. The internet site also says it comes with a CrossFireX bridge...it doesn't. But that isn't the card's fault! Wouldn't even know if the issue works, put it in my Hackintosh and it won't even boot so... Manufacturer Response:Dear HIS Consumer, Thank you for assistance in HIS. HIS Radeon HD 5770 2XDVI HDMI DP PCI-E Video Card
Comment:
Radeon HD 5770 nevertheless has a good value/performance ratio. It is more than a year old model, but nonetheless a fantastic mainstream-efficiency graphics card. I have two 5770s for CrossFire in my C2Q rig, and they nonetheless boast near high-finish efficiency of these days. HIS provides two-year warranty which is great in theory, nonetheless, its RMA service outsourcing partner, Lexy.com is not beneficial at all in reality. Lexy.com is supposed to answer the RMA request in 2 days, but they by no means replied. Also 30-day turn around time is also lengthy. I assume HIS' two-year warranty policy doesn't mean something with a lazy RMA service partner. Very good 1-year service is far better than poor 2-year 1. I assume HIS need to rethink about their RMA method. I had a cooling fan issue, and I fixed it by myself in the occasion. Possibly carrying out so made the warranty void, but doesn't matter due to the fact warranty service does not exist anyway.

This card replaced a hotter and power hungry AMD 4870. Runs Dirt2 with eyefinity Ɠx1680x1050 screens) nicely sufficient! ྾-40fps on max settings) Dosen't overclock properly.Fan noise got worse more than time. 9 Months later it was creating clicking noises all all fan speeds. Had to RMA it. Make sure to come across a 5770 with a superior heatsink/fan. Manufacturer Response:Dear Jason,Thank you for support in HIS. We are sorry for your circumstance. 1)overclock easy! two)u can overclock from in windows. 3)only wants 1 energy cable.four)small gets kinda warm but if u have fantastic cooling youll be fine dont purchase 5850 or 5870, acquire this instead. u can overclock it to be just as very good as them! (exept for the 256bit memory interface) Good to create a low-cost gaming computer

Great frame rates, no troubles so far This video card takes up three slots on my microATX board, rather of two as expected. I have the GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H (can appear up picture on Newegg). It takes up the PCI Express slot, and both PCI slots. I don't use any of the PCI slots, so its not a big deal for me, but just wanted to let individuals know what to expect if utilizing similar board. It does not interfere with the PCI Express X1 slot above the card.

Outstanding graphical overall performance for the price tag range; Numerous monitor connection options; Both CrossFireX and Eyefinity compliant Slightly bigger than other cards of its kind Placed in a bargain gaming rig, and has performed exceptionally. I've run games like CoD: Black Ops, Starcraft II, and Star Trek On the net, all using the highest level of video facts accessible with zero trouble at modest resolutions and framerates. Only downside to this card is it being rather big both in length and height. It takes up each the PCIe interface and adjacent PCI slot like all cards in its class, but will also likely stop a mid to massive sized expansion card being placed next to it, meaning it can inadvertently take up 3 system slots. May possibly also block other nearby on-board elements, specially if applied on a Mini-ATX process. Overall, good visuals for little expense. Just make sure you get a massive motherboard unless you're tolerant of losing some of the connection selections.

Ran wonderful when I very first installed. Starcraft and other games on highest settings. Newegg got it to me quick. Immediately after about the 3rd week and absolutely the 4th week, my system started acting sluggish. Soon games in Starcraft would just freeze. Now even surfing the internet freezes the computer system. Since I'm just getting these effects near the newegg 30 day window, I most likely won't get a refund. B.S My first acquire with HIS and probably my final. I tried every single avenue to make confident it was nothing at all but the video card: updated drivers ྫ.two catalyst), bios, chipset drivers, reseated video card, monitored temps, and so forth. I even bought a new energy provide soon after the fact. Manufacturer Response:Dear HIS Customer, Thank you for support in HIS. We are sorry for your circumstance. Ran Quiet, Cool and Games looked excellent. Civ 5 in particular.. extremely smooth. About 40 days immediately after acquire it started to "fracture" the image on screen and instantly blue screen in some games, EQ2 in particular. I did almost everything you need to in terms of drivers etc.. Checked my system with one more card, but could not uncover a person willing to verify their technique with this one particular. It took about 3 weeks of back and forth with tech help (who only seem to answer emails at night) to get "permission" to get an RMA, Which took another two weeks. They have now had it for pretty much a month and I have not heard something. In truth the RMA company says to please not call if your RMA is open for much less than 30 Days. Quite disappointing consumer service to say the least. Though the card itself was nice, I would not buy from this business once again. two+ Months is far as well lengthy when you have purchased a defective item with a warranty. I just wish I had checked with NEWEGG first to see if they would have helped.

low cost. other 5770 cards at 财. beats out similarly priced gts 450. quiet, but can be heard. good catalyst software, a lot of features. i entirely advocate going by way of all of the selections, consists of video encoding, advanced monitor optimization....but..... when OCing utilizing the computer software, my second monitor flickers each and every time i click my mouse. annoying. had to disable ATI Overdrirve. expenses a star. OC isnt a priority for me, but it would be good. if you only have one monitor, it might not cause the flicker. the plastic around the card doesn't seal the unit like the a lot more high priced ones with the ATI original cover, but not worth a star off.

It operates well as a single card. If you are thinking about Crossfireing this card, Keep away from, stay clear of like the plague! I have a asus p6x58d deluxe mother board with 3 pcie 16. Once you install 1 video card it pretty significantly practically cover your second slot. If you forcefully install the fan will not turn which implies you will have your 1st video card overheat. Even if in some miracle you get to get the fan spinning, there will be certainly no clearance and the initial card will just suck up hot air from the second card that you are crossfiring with. So what is the resolution? you have to essentially forfeit your 2nd slot and hope/pray you have a 3rd slot. But this does not resolve the difficulty for the crossfire bridge included is not long enough to connect the two together. In the starting i did not know what the problem is till my laptop would grow to be unstable about half a dozen times. Now my 跌 motherboard very first pcie slot does not perform or works intermittently following the "HIS" cards heating up, it need to have messed up the circuit board. NOW i know why this is on sale for a Bill following rebates. Do oneself a huge favor and devote 15 dollars or much more to get a xfx or other option.

the way it's created has a lot on what this video card can do.meaning, how rapid it can go, the speed of the core clock, the speed of the gddr5 memory ram. this factor is rapidly for a produced range card. running at 850mhz at stock speeds out does it's self. with good overclocking, cooling. the fan is excellent size for a video card. this is just a good video card. if i had a crossfire ready MB i would get an additional card. the cooling on this little card can do more then my old 5570. so far there is no cons. cons are like a negative headache, just gets in the way, so i don't write about cons that are not seriously cons.but i will add one smaller extremely smaller con about this video card. overheats with a psu that is placing out around 485 watts of power. that's why i am receiving a new psu that is putting out about 700 watts of power. for the price tag of this card, i would love to have another one if my MB could take it. altogether this card out does it's self.

Runs cool & quiet. I can hear it more than my case fans (Antec DF-30 on low) when cranking but it is by no means bothersome. I installed a fresh copy of Win 7 Home Premium x64 OEM and then downloaded CCC 11.1 and then installed it. I got black screens that lasted ten ~ 30 seconds. When I updated DX-9 that dilemma went away. When you install the driver from the disc that comes with this card, it updates DX-9 automatically...so no dilemma. I didn't take an egg off simply because it was my mistake. For 100 clams AR it's difficult to beat.My program: Case: Antec DF-30, Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H R, CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T, VGA: HIS H577FK1GD HD5770 RT, Memory: Corsair XMS3 8GB ƒx 4GB) 1333 DDR3 CMX8GX3M2A1333C9, HDD: Deskstar 1TB ƐS02860), PSU: Thermaltake TPX-775M Toughpower XT 775W, OS: Win 7 x64 OEM.

- Overclocked right now to 925mhz on the GPU and 1350mhz on the memory and runs below 65*C underload with fan set to auto and has been operating without having any problems. May attempt to turn it up a little much more.- Fan is close to silent at idle and it not even noticeable in game.- 财 is a great value for this card. Hopefully the ฮ rebate from HIS will go smoothly. - It wouldn't bake me a cake no matter how nicely I asked :(

It worked for about 7 months and preformed admirably in those months. Soon after about the 7th month of ownership I heard a clicking coming from the fan I removed it from the Computer and determined that is was dusty and necessary a cleaning. I removed it and gently gave it a once more than with compressed air and replaced the card. I function up till last week exactly where it began again, it wasn't as dusty but I cleaned it. Final night it persisted, At this point I really should have contacted HIS but decided not to once again removed and inspected the card. No dust replaced it the noise went away. This evening I once more hear the noise this time the worst. Once once again I inspected the card not dust I clean it with compressed air as soon as once again. This time when I replaced it my motherboard reported a 2e error indicting a challenge with the video device. I swapped the device and it worked fine replaced my card and received the error once more. I am in the procedure of filing RMA with the company. All other evaluations are appropriate in that the size of the card is massive.

Quickly Card, so far no difficulties with it. Rebate is in fact 1Ǚ of what NewEgg states. Not really as lengthy as the HD3870 that it replaced, the fan is quieter and GPU-z says it's running at 45C, which is 3C below what the HD3870 idled at.Minus 2 stars for the misleading rebate amount.

2 DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort. I in all probability will never ever use the HDMI and absolutely will never ever use the DisplayPort, but I'd rather have them there just in case. But it fits perfectly in my case and worked appropriate out of the box. Also comes with a energy adapter for older PSUs (two 4-pin molex to 1 6-pin PCI). I can't seem to locate out how to get a temperature readout on this card. With my old card, SpeedFan picked it up instantaneously as a "GPU temp". But I get absolutely nothing relating to the GPU with this card, so I'm not completely sure if it's overheating or not. Takes up 2 PCI slots, as with most cards so it's not seriously a con due to the fact that appears to be a normal. If only motherboard producers can follow suit and not put something beneath the PCI-e slots since most of the time they grow to be obsolete due to the card's size.
