Cons:nothing.

Pros:Hyperthread. Unlocked for overclocking. Low temperature.
Comment:
This is the best CPU I have ever owned. For the price of only $300, you get virtually 8-core performance. The low temperature really helps overclocking the CPU.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Gets pretty hot without good cooling.- Intel cooler isn't up to the task.- Price could be more competitive.

Pros:- Really is blazing fast.- Unlocked multiplier.- Very easy to overclock.- 4.3 GHz with stock settings.- Doesn't require a lot of power.
Comment:
I'm coming from an overclocked i7 875K and am finding the i7 3770K to be quite a different beast. Based on what I'd read (thanks in large part to Intel's questionable choices), it runs hotter than what one would expect, especially when overclocked. This is why I purchased a water cooler at the same time. Glad I did because it really is harder to cool than my previous processor. Didn't have to start raising voltages until I hit 4.4 GHz though so that was nice. I may go higher but I'm just happy to be in the 4 GHz range, something I aimed for with the 875K but failed to do. I also upgraded to two SSD's in RAID-0 plus a good graphics card, and so far am very impressed with performance which is blazing fast. Thus far I have zero regrets with my purchase.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None

Pros:One of the fastest qual core cpu in this class. Support overclock too.
Comment:
Very fast. 2 thread per core makes it work like 8 cpu. New generation i7 is a lot cooler too.i7-3770K is one of the fastest cpu in this class according to many benchmark test. Otherwise you have to jump up to socket LGA2011 level of cpu, for which everything is more expensive. Of course, they run faster too, if you don't mind paying a lot more.Use to take around half a day to install XP as virtual OS on dual core machine. Now it takes less than 30 minutes, counting from popping in the disc to actual running. Sweet !

Cons:Price

Pros:FastCold with my H100!
Comment:
This CPU is amazing, people complain that you cant OC them much as the old ones but..even with TurboV Evo with my MOBO and my Corsair h100 i can OC that baby to 4.8 ghz! With that i stay at 71 C temp!I didnt leave to OC activate cause I dont feel safe playing in BIOS yet! eheheI can render my video and edit really fast. I was able to convert  some video at 200 fps!!!! Not long to put my video illigable for my Apple TV!Even if the price is hight i know it's will last me many years...i cant use it more than 25% while gaming..

Cons:Premium Intel MSRP unless you're a member of retail edge program

Pros:FastUnlock
Comment:
Could be a board, this cpu can run 4.4GHz with Coolermaster 212+ heatsink without much problem. However, benchmark could get the cpu up to 80c. Under normal usage, this shouldn't be much trouble at all.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:high temps on stock heatsink, more expensive than SB 2700k which overclocks better.

Pros:blazing fast.IGPU HD4000 is decent.
Comment:
been using it for a week and all i can say is its worth every penny.upgraded from a c2d 2.0 and i can only say that the difference is significant.but my primary concern about this cpu is its overclockability which i am interested in.i was actually torn between this and the SB 2700k but then i wanted to use the Igpu HD4000 since i dont plan to get a GPU until the gtx7000 series comes out.the pci 3.0 and usb native connections will probably come in handy along the way. so far so good and i hope it lasts for at least 3 to 4 years which i believe is not an issue for an intel product.will probably get a phantek or an h80 heatsink and hope that the temp will get better.4.5/5!!!

Pros:fastunlocked
Comment:
Good stock speed, even better OC speed but stock cooler is terrible. Ran Prime95 torture test and stock cooling lets the processor get far too close to max temp, saw as high as 100 Celsius after a few hours. I plan to water cool so not a problem for me.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-Thermal performance not nearly as good as the 2600k.

Pros:-It's the best of the best on the Ivy bridge platform-Requires barely any power.
Comment:
This processor is, of course, the best Intel has to offer on the Z77 platform but I feel like since the actual performance improvement over the 2600k is marginal, the thermal performance isn't nearly as good and the questionable purpose of the PCI-E 3.0 bandwith at the moment, the 2600k is still worth giving a look at.

this replaced my old p4 3ghz, so this is a big jump is speed for me, and couldn't be happier, its is fast (running asus p8z77, and gskill ripjaws 1600 ddr3 ram) its very stable and runs very cool, it is alittle pricey but it worth the little extra money for what you get

Cons:Price, need Z77 board to gain full potential

Pros:Runs cool, more speed than I need
Comment:
Got this CPU with a ASUS P8Z77-V Pro and couldn't be happier. CPU runs cool at stock speeds and is easily cooled with a CM 212+ cooler. Has more speed than I need, just wish it was a bit cheaper. Would give it an extra star if the price was better.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Difficult to overclock compared to previous generationHigh temperatures require better cooling

Pros:Great performance for a decent priceLow power consumption compared to previous generationBetter performance on a clock-per-clock basis compared to sandy bridge
Comment:
Great processor overall, but for the overclocking enthusiast needing more out of their chip, purchase a 2600k instead, or wait and hope that the next-gen processor's can accommodate the needs of the overclocking community. The power consumption could be considered a plus, but it wasn't a major selling point for me. I wanted to be at the bleeding edge of high-end 3rd gen processors without resorting to moving up to the 2011 sockets.I can't really complain, it's a great accomplishment to fit that much power in such a small surface area. The temperatures need to be addressed if you're using this chip outside of "Intel's specifications".My advice is to get a good air cooler to keep high temperatures at bay, or even a closed-loop water cooler if it helps, the stock cooler is just laughable.

Cons:Limited overclocking

Pros:Fast, cool, efficent
Comment:
As an Ivy Bridge CPU, I found the overclocking overhead was lesser than that of say a 2600K or 2700K, however at lower speeds it's power efficency is greatly appreciated.

Cons:Loud stock fan.Not efficient stock fan.

Pros:Very fast.Easily overclockable.Works very well with VirtuMVP.
Comment:
Just upgraded from a E8400 and WOW what a difference! I was able to overclock it very easily to 4.5 Ghz with a H100 at 45 x 100 o 1.25v.The stock fan is garbage and very loud, I suggest buying an aftermarket cooler. I had to use the stock until I received my H100 and temps were getting up to 85?C within 30secs at 100% load. Didn't even try to run stress apps like IBT. It did run at acceptable temps when not under load, and honestly, it's so powerful you might not even load it. Even the most depending games at the moment don't reach 50% use for me.Amazing processor, highly recommended!
