Easy to set up the hardware on Win 7. Not utilizing the software program, so I cannot comment on that. Works nicely with Windows Media Center. If you are already receiving more than the air, digital signals; and want a recording device; have a rapidly computer system. This performs good. Quad CPU. I live in NYC, get about 38 channels. Channel 2, (good signal) would not auto-detect; even with updated software package. Had to enter, frequency of channel two, manually. (Add a channel feature). Tuner appears, additional effective than my Tv's tuner. It picks up far more channels. Applied some further cable, to spot antenna close to window, to get a lot more channels. Win XP.Only 1 or 2 stations, won't let you record. They are working with one thing, to avoid it.
