This is low profile RAM(half as tall as others), which truly makes a helpful distinction in a tiny situation build. Excellent price tag for four gigs. Operating 100% stable at 1000 DDR. . I under no circumstances had a challenge with Kingston RAM, with corsair and geil, I had to RMA to manufacturer.

Ran memtest, all clear. Low type factor is a plus in HTPC case. Heat not an problem. No overclocking tried. Had to adjust some settings in BIOS for speed or they would run at slower timings. none

Functions effectively at 800mhz, cas 5-five-five. Quite stable. Works in my foxconn g45m-s flawlessly. Passes 15+ runs of memtest. advertised as cas-five SPD. Not the case, SPD settings are cas-6-6-6.

Have this for a buddy, moving from a bad MSI mobo. Know Gigabtye has great good quality, but wasnt expecting the feature set for this sort of value. Granted, I didnt pay a entire lot of consideration when acquiring, since I was purchasing for a price tag point, not a feature set. But when I got it, I was far more than pleased. 1st PCI-e x1 is blocked by the chipset heatsink for most cards. Couldnt use the soundblaster I had planned for that slot. Front panel auido is in the worst feasible spot for cable management, exactly where everything else appears placed for it. Aside from that, it's best.

These modules are working specifically the way they are supposed to, got a good, stable 14% OC running on them now with fantastic performance. These modules are low-profile and have been acquiring a bit warmer than I would like with my OC, but not really a enormous situation. Would have liked to have identified I would be receiving low-profile modules. They are not listed as low-profile on the Egg or on Kingstons' internet site.

Functions at rated specifications and voltage. Total amount shows in Vista Home Premium 64-bit. None. I've had to use Kingston's RMA course of action just before (though not on this RAM), and it was quite speedy (less than 10 company days' total turn time). Comes with a lifetime warranty, and they pay shipping each approaches by means of FedEx. This is why I stick to Kingston.

I upgraded my rig about 5 months ago with a quadcore CPU and this memory, and I haven't had a single difficulty with any of it. It ran Vista x64 fine and is now operating Windows 7 x64 without a hitch. None that I can tell. Newegg guidelines! Shipping was quickly, as expected.

Took out the 4 1GIG sticks I had and installed this. I program on buying one more set soon. I haven't had any concerns with this memory. No problems with this memory at all. I'm operating a multi boot correct now with 3 64bit operating systems, and I'll be interested to see how they all run with 8gig of memory. The memory is low profile. I'm not sure if that effects anything, but this is my 1st set of low profile memory.

Low Profile Ram, Price, Reliability. None For stock ram I am impressed with Kingstons compatibility with different motherboards. I bought a couple of kits of this now and like it for it's dependability for buyer builds. Also the size of the sticks becoming low profile is refreshing to see..they are half the size of standard sticks and give less air obstructions to the cpu heatsink.

low profile, stable @ default settings the plastic packaging is needlessly nervewracking SPD tables on my pair definitely show (via CPU-Z) 6-6-6-18-24-1.8V ﮐMHz, and not the 5- that other reviewers have noticed. Kingston typically puts a N# into the model number (would be amongst the D2 and the K2) to show CL; this is absent on these so YMMV.Also my mb seems to like to default them to 1.96V, which is fine due to the fact when I tried dropping to an indicated 1.8V they went unstable. That mentioned, I'm content adequate with them to have just purchased a second set for my other machine.

Plug and play. 1.8v by default. Wonderful company. Well packaged. Quick shipping by Newegg. Timings: These chips are rated 5-6-6-18-24 2T at DDR2 800 and 4-5-five-15-20 2T at DDR2 667 per CPU-Z. My evga 680i motherboard shows the timings as 6-6-6-18-24 2T at DDR2 800. For few added dollars, it may well be worth it to go with GSkill or AData.

The four GB I place in did support for game play and overall usage, I would advise this to an individual. It works just as it says and it gets the job done. I'm utilised to only have 2 GB so some games would have some lag *cough* *cough* crysis.. but that's only because not all of my components are all that great. I plugged them in the very first time and my pc turned on, but nothing at all showed up on the screen. I took a single out and anything worked, then I switched and checked the other stick, worked fine. I place them each in once more and it lastly worked. I don't know why it did that, but hey it functions now I wish I had two additional slots...I would give them a best 5, it's just the hassle of what I had to do in the 1st spot produced me believe twice, and getting to get it out of the stupid plastic casing, that sucked also.

Greater than what i had. quick. Kingston typically makes great memory. smaller and tempermental. make confident your motherboard support this memory. difficult to fit in due to a slightly smaller sized size. I have installed memory lots and lots of instances but by this memory being a small smaller, you have to make certain it is in there fantastic or you process will act crazy like mines did due to the fact it is loose.

This memory is not on the QVL for my Asus M4A79 DELUXE motherboard. That being stated, this is the most stable laptop or computer I've ever run with windows. I've run months going in and out of standby and the personal computer remained stable.(I assume making use of only a limited quantity of applications removes other uncertainties.)The mixture of this RAM and the mentioned motherboard has confirmed stable. The motherboard is (essentially) mounted on the wall and is open air. No fans are placed to cool the memory chips. Its not on the qualified vendors list for my ASUS motherboard. I can't mention any BIOS specifics as far as configuration or timing or anything mainly because its been so lengthy.Assume that open air computer has a cooling advantage more than a personal computer in ANY sort of enclosure.I am at present studying timing for digital memory storage for computers.
