Failure rate from Kingston is too high for me.
Comment:
It is strange to see the price going up and up for this memory. Kingston's failure rate has been going up with the price. We were all buying it primarily because we knew the voltages and timings were right for the Intel boards, but now the other popular manufacturers are catching on and offering compatible memory for Intel boards. I don't buy Kingston anymore because I had 3 bad sticks out of the last 12 purchased. That is waaaaay to high.

GOOD MEMORY--GOOD PRICE
Comment:
I usually stick with this brand of memory for customer builds, no problems, no suprizes, and always compatable. I don't overclock customer builds as I looking for reliability

Two bad chips out of 4
Comment:
I used to love Kingston. Now not so much. Random blue screens in Win 7 64bit let me to the RAM. I was right, it works fine with 2 chips. The other 2 I did not even bother to swap around. I wanted to return it but my wife threw away the crappy plastic package. I'll go with Corsair instead.

Installed with a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R, Intel 775 Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66 GHz, 6MB Cache, Yorkfield 2- 1GB Hitachi Drives in RAID 1. No problems with installation. Super fast loading applications, such as Office 2007 and Adobe CS4.

Purchased two of these to upgrade my Epox AF390sli motherboard to 8 GByte. Plugged them in, fired up the computer and have not looked back. Free shipping, ordered Wednesday and had them in my hands mid-day Friday. Way less than the estimated delivery date!

The Kingston PC6400 800MHz 4GB DDR2 Memory, came with the Barebones computer kit that I purchased. The size of the memory was just what I was looking for. The memory has made a big difference from what I had. I can now load the many pictures and search the net with out waiting. Very Good Deal!

Great memory. Upon original installation, due to the setup within my computer, this memory was running at half speed. By resetting my memmory voltage, my memory is running at it's design PC6400 speed. It arrived exactly on the day promised, and in great condition.

Last month I added 4gb of Kingston ram to the 4gb of ram that came with my computer. As usual, Kingston ram worked perfectly with no compatibility issues.

Awesome for the price

Just picked these up and installed them last night. A great value for really improving the performance of your PC. However, My RAM does look different than that pictured. They are about half the height each stick. It doesn't bother me at all, as long as they perform.

A lot of memory, for little money

The Kingston 4GB of memory was part of a barebone system I built for a friend to replace his 8 year old computer. My friend primarily uses Office software, connects to the Internet, and occasionally plays games.

All right.
Comment:
It works, does what it should. No complaints. As long as the right memory is paired with the proper mainboard it's all good. Never had any problems with Kingston. It's another situation in which the problem would be with the mainboard not the RAM.
