It's RAM. As other individuals have said, it's low-profile which gives a far better fit for boards with big immediately after-market place HSFs (eg: 92mm, 110mm, 120mm). None. Didn't try overclocking the timings or something, just making use of as a HTPC.

when I got this it was affordable! it went in and booted suitable up as it need to. have had these for ӭ year and still going sturdy not the fastest stuff out there but rock solid none if the cost had not more than doubled over the final year I would get much more, but I can get excellent Computer 8500 now cheaper than this Kingston and this the spending budget kingston ram. what gives with this price increas. I mean I can acquire a CPU and Mother board for about the exact same price. spending budget ones even much less

Its low-cost, It is also short, that may well assist someone needing memory that doesen't stick up significantly. It worked, and it worked like it was supposed to. Not truly a con, but it is really plain seeking. If your building a program with a see thru case I would look elsewhere. However if you just want it for quality efficiency at a wonderful price tag with no the looks, then invest in all indicates acquire this ram it is terrific stuff. I'd advise this to anybody not searching for eyecandy. If you need it to appear good appear for something else. If not buy this, it really is fantastic stuff, or if you have some sort of issue exactly where you need to have a shorter memory, I would also advocate.

It functions. It's stable. I have 8gb of RAM running on Windows 7 64-bit. Sweet. Hard to install. Threw off my video card drivers if you can believe that. This RAM functions terrific. I installed 8gb on my Dell 518 Q6600 with Windows 7 64-bit and it rocks. Nonetheless, right after I installed this RAM, it created my Sapphire ATI HD 3650 video card go haywire for a few hours until I reset the drivers 7 instances. Also, you really have to function to snap this RAM into location because it is low profile. No massive deal, but for the first ten minutes I didn't assume it was going to fit in my motherboard. And I have installed a lot of RAM more than the years. Overall GREEEAAAT deal.

What a genuinely amazing item. If you are a gamer and want faster loading occasions and not lag in those huge battlefields then I suggest you buy this item. I had 1GB RAM and noticed a lot of lag in Warhammer On the internet and some other huge region games but with this 4GB everything runs so a lot smoother even in places with a lot of players at as soon as.The RAM is also extremely modest so if space is an concern for you then deffinently get these. None Take pleasure in this product like I am!

Has worked without having a hitch at factory timing and bus speeds given that I purchased it February ཅ. Have had very little good results with more than-clocking this RAM, but it could be mainly because of my board, not seriously confident. I paid ู for this package when I got this RAM and the price has a small additional than doubled in the meantime. Whats with the big price tag enhance??? I could get four Gb of G.Expertise upper finish DDR3 RAM for the very same cost. I'd love to through another 4 Gb in my existing rig, but I'm not dropping ๪ on this RAM to do so. Just the price tag improve, give me a break.

Good ramI purchased two sets of these on 2Ǚ񳏉 for 36.99 each, price tag was fantastic, ram was even superior. They originally went in a dual core machine and performed actually well. I built a quad core and stick these in there, they perform in all probability ten% far better(loosely based in windows expertise index and questionable benchmarks) Either the ram i got was slightly to fat or the machine i stick them into originally was to modest, so i had issues acquiring the ram to seat appropriately. Don't know which caused the concern and i don't think it counts as a real con. Good ram. Due to the fact it has a low profile, most heat spreaders will possibly not function on it.I don't overclock, nor have i tweaked with ram timing, so i can't tell you what you can get this ram to.

value memory for less. I dont know how significantly the cost of this RAM is now but its been superior till now. However it depends on your use. attempt to have a quicker Difficult Drive 񣚠 rpm or SCSI) to superior make use of it This is the standard version from Kingston. There are greater Cache RAM's in this series. I use this on my server and have two units of this ƘGB) on my mobo. Occasionally there is latency, but my mobo is also a lower finish 1. So wouldnt blame the RAM. Also i run virtual machines from a single 500 GB SATA2. I would suggest getting 2 SATA's for better efficiency.

Hi Tech layout with clear label. Low profile module, about half hight My Win7 will crash 3 times a day. I believed it is due to mis-matching with the Acer original DDR2 that came with Acer Desktop. Could function well if you install each in the M/B and don't mix match with OEM DDR2. Don't waste your $$ if you are working with 32bit Win7/Vista. The total accessible ram is only two.75GB, not 4GB as installed.Pricewatch cost may possibly show a 30% off from Newegg web page.

Kingston memory has constantly worked great appropriate out of the box for me. It may well not be as quickly and have as numerous options as some of the boutique brands, but I will take ease and reliability any day. Maybe not as rapidly as some other brands. Used two kits for a 4x2GB configuration on a Gigabyte EP45 board with Vista x64. Everything booted up fine with the standard BIOS settings. I did set the timings manually at five-four-4-15 and have the memory slightly overclocked.

Compatible with Intel motherboards & extremely durable if it is great out of the box I have applied this style of Kingston memory for 4 builds. 2 out of the 8 sticks that I bought had to be returned due to the fact the method would not post. Oddly enough I maintain acquiring the stuff simply because it is one of the memory brands that is consistently compatible with the Intel brand boards. I give three eggs simply because, though I have gotten a couple of these bad out of the package, as soon as I get superior ones they are trouble cost-free from that point forward.
