got the ram and i thought that they had sent me the wrong thing at first. turns out these things are tiny. im used to big ram with big heatsinks or big ddr ram modules. not sure how they'll deal with heat but so far they run fast enough that there is little load on the system, athlon x2 4400, wd 640hdd, biostar mobo, 350watt psu.

Please ignore hitler's review - he obviously doesn't realize that windows xp is a 32 bit operating system and cannot access 4 gigs of ram - it caps out around 3. The memory is also duel channel and must be paired... hence why when he removed 1 memory stick from the slot the computer only showed 2 gigs... it won't use a 3rd stick without a 4th matched pair because it's Dual channel memory. no offense hitler, you just need to brush up on your product knowledge. I've bought kingston ram a few times, always had good luck with it.

I also upgraded from a PC that had DDR but i can say that im loving it. Easy install, not damaged on arrival. Great price, Good company everyone i know suggested it anyway. Got it in a barebones kit so that was great too. Just sad that i got 32-bit ultimate instead of 64 which i ment to get, so as soon as i can ill actually be able to utilize the whole 4 gigs until then 3.33 is fine lol. No lag at all. Id recommend this to anyone.

I was surprised at the incredible performance increase when I installed this Kingston memory in place of Corsair (same size and speed). I have always trusted Kingston memory, but it is usually priced a lot higher than other brands. This is a great value! I'll just put the Corsair in my son's computer and hang onto the Kingston for me...

Bought two of these just for an upgrade from 3GB of crucial. Have had no issues with this and am at 5.2 on my windows experience. Will buy this product again for my next build.

I purchased this product to max out the memory in my HP desktop, I had been having trouble when using my MagicJack unit constantly ''buffering'' with the 2GB of PC5400 RAM that came installed in my computer and it turned out to be less expensive to upgrade to 4GB of Kingston PC6400 RAM than it would have been to upgrade to 4GB of PC5400 no matter what brand, since the Mobo only has 2 memory slots total. Not only does the MagicJack work 100% better, but all other programs load and run so much faster than they had before that it's hard to believe the memory was only doubled, it acts like it had been quadrupled in capability not doubled.
