LITE-ON is remarkable! Expense. It burns CD's and DVD's fine. I replaced yet another brand with this one and when trying to use the lightscribe feature it will not recognize the disk. I use HP lightscribe disks and have no complications with the other brand lightscribes burners that I have employing this media. Consistency indicates a lot to me and this drive is just that. I hate creating coasters when a drive can't function correctly and effectively. I've had absolutely nothing but Lite-On drives in all my builds. The LightScribe thing is still something I'm attempting to get utilised to. I've located that the print on the media is challenging to read with specific colored media. I'm going to try some Verbatim and see if it improves. None thus far.
