Only thing I can say about this product is that it does what it's suppose to do. A good value, so if you looking to upgrade or just add another CD drive you won't regret this purchase

I've had good luck with Lite-on in the past but this time my new system runs hotter(around 50c) due to it's performance. When the machine is hot the DVD drive makes a raspy noise like an unbalanced CD. It goes away when running cooler. I'm working to find out exactly what's going on except for this the DVD runs perfectly.

Performs quietly and runs with the system. So far as for burning yes this baby will do ur jobs hopefully without any itch. Need one, don't worry get this one, its cool and light on your system. Delivery was quick and I have bought several other products refurb, and they are still going.

I like this dvd rom drive, and I now have bought a total of 4. One thing I forgot that I found out is that the software called NERO did not work very well on my computer and caused problems. So make sure you want to install the extra software before you do.

We've always had good luck with LG products, does what it says. I wish it didn't come with Nero though. Nero doesn't work for nothing. I'd recommend this LG product to anybody.

SCENSE PLEXTOR WENT DOWN HILL, THE NEXT BEST FOR THE MONEY, IMHO, IS LITEON. DOES A GREAT JOB AND READS DISKS THAT MY PLEXTOR WONT. FOR THE PRICE, U CANT BEAT IT.

I thought that it was noisy. Although it did what it was suppose to do, I was used to the LG drive I already had and it was not noisy at all. I will probably purchase another one of the LG models.

The product works great, but the sample NERO they give with it erased a full working version of NERO from my machine and put one on that I can not use for anything, UNLESS I BUY THE FULL VERSION, and it took a FULL WORKING VERSION OFF my machine and will not let me REINSTALL THE FULL VERSION I HAD.
