LOGISYS Computer CLK12UV2 12" DUAL UV COLD CATHODE KIT

-brilliant, wonderful UV emission-solid create-dirt low cost cost, Cadillac good quality-did I mention how fairly they appear? genuinely makes the inside of your case pop -ballast is clunky and difficult to hide inside your case-wires from switch to ballast could be longer-quite faint buzzing noise (nearly inaudible, but my hearing isn't what it employed to be) LOGISYS vs Link Depot? No brainer! These tubes are of a a lot greater quality than what I expected. My previous set was a Link Depot kit that was advertised to have UV tubes with Sound Recognition. The Link Depot tubes were built as poorly as the price would recommend, they were neon blue (not UV) and the sound recognition did not function whatsoever. As for the LOGISYS tubes, the faint buzzing noise blends in with my case fans, but a person with a silent/fanless case would certainly hear them. Also, the clunky ballast doesn't bother me too much since I realize a cold cathode tube kit have to have 1, and it has to go somewhere, appropriate?

Do create a adequate amount of light to make factors glow. Would be good if any or these kits not just UV in specific but lighting kits in common came with longer wires so you could hide them. Going to have to clip the wires and add far more length to them later to hide them Its not like you can expect a lot from a product that is Ŭ.00 but it would be nice to have longer wires.

Not bad for the price. Make sure to check the item physically before installing. I noticed that the cathode inside was snapped in two. Had to return it for a replacement.

Good color, i liked the blue a whole lot Died in 1 hour. I put em in and hooked it all up, then i turned my tower on and it was all good. Then about 1 hour later, poof, dead no far more shiny blue light

two OEM for the price of 1 Retail, glow purple, supply a nice ambiance to blue LEDs (not overpowering) and come with double sided Velcro pads. Plus the UV/black light makes every little thing white and/or UV reactive glow with a good blue. Wires are type of brief, difficult to ninja them behind the motherboard tray and out of view. Acquiring them again for one more construct I'm performing in a few months ;)

I would recommend getting the blue cathode instead, it lights up purple in the case. the light is not bright enough

Nice UV light Brief wires makes it difficult to set these up. Specially in my Antec 900 that's not genuinely produced for adding lights.1 of the two lights that came was broke. Called newegg the day I got the package and saw the broken light. Told me to just toss these ones away and they would send out a new set. Thanks newegg! Hopefully both lights are working in this next set.

If you have UV reactive supplies in your case, you'd be a fool not to own a pair or a lot more of these. My green UV cable sleeves look wonderful in my blue themed nzxt alpha case. The lights are not at all overbearing or underpowered. None definitely. Some say the cables are brief? I don't see how since you can move the inverter around and stick it anyplace you want with the supplied velcro stickies. Be conscious that plain LED lights contrast the uv impact so try not to put these subsequent to led fans and such....

They function just fine. Installation is truly easy. Super duper affordable. Has an off/on switch so they're not on all the time. Looks pimpin at lan parties. Not super vibrant, but chances are if you're buying UV lights, you're going to be utilizing them in a dark area. The inverter box is a bit annoying as it takes up a bit of room in my case, but no major deal. Other thoughts? Pizza...beer...Counter-strike...burritos...

Has a quite good purple ambient glow to it. With two of these in my entire case is covered in UV light so that every thing glows. None Installed onto my fan controller so that I could turn the lights off when I go to bed and it works fantastically. No will need to reach behind the machine to get to the switch.

Nice blacklights! Don't seem to make much heat. None These fit very snugly inside my Apevia X-Qpack mATX case and they really fill it up with UV light. All my UV reactive stuff genuinely pops. No troubles locating a spot for the ballast and running the cabling, which was plenty lengthy for my application. Don't know how lengthy they'll last, but they only expense five bucks...

Look excellent in my nice dark man-cave. Easy to install and I actually like the handy on/off switch! Make certain you get UV-reactive components for your rig as these lights are bright enough to make them light up like a Christmas Tree! Cool to the touch as well. Excellent price too! Not so certain about how long they'll last, my last ones didn't last even a year, but that was just one. Ideal to turn these issues off with that switch when you're not around to look at them. Not so certain about the sound reactive box...supposedly it would light up brighter when noise is made? I use headphones because I live in a townhome, and not wanting to disturb neighbors, so I don't use speakers a lot.

UV light reacts extremely nicely with my UV reactive water and anti-kink coils. Looks incredible in my nine hundred case! The cords are a little short, so program accordingly. No reason to make this a 4 out of five review. Fantastic addition to any case.

What can I say, they are UV cathodes and they work. They are purple when looked at directly, but i have them hidden from direct sight so the only thing glowing in my case is my UV-reactive coolant, and little white labels on my motherboard. The cathodes are not super strong, and i doubled both up in the same spot to maximize the glow of my coolant. Other than that, the converter box is kind of large, and blue, but still easily hidden. I like that it comes with all mounting hardware (velcro) and a back panel switch to turn them on and off

UV light range seems a little low to me but it's perhaps the fact that I've got a lot of light in the room. Anyhow, it's a great product to light up your UV reactive components.

I had always wondered about UV lights and their effect when placed in a computer case, so I bought one of these. Lemme just be blunt, even though I got these cheap for ~$4.50, which is a good price, most likely you'll need more than 1 kit of 2 cathodes. Again, to be blunt, don't bother with these UV kits if you don't have a LOT of UV reactive stuff, otherwise you won't even notice the effect at all and you'd be better off with the coloured cold cathodes. To be negative, this thing's inverter is a REAL BIG eyesore and... well... good luck trying to hide it out of sight when you're limited by the cord length of the cathodes.But yes, only get if you got lots of UV reactive stuff like UV reactive tubing and fans in watercooling.
