I bought two of these to make my UV water cooling liquid glowing. It work well but not as i expected. If you got a really dark room, it's done but if not, it's useless. Anayway, i like it and i'll purchase again. |

I put 2 of those in my case near my water cooling reservoir and tube and it lights up really well the coolant. They are enough small to be hidden. I think it's a good buy since it's that effective and that cheap. |

Don't be confused by the picture. These cold cathodes are what we usually refer to as 'black lights'. Nice color, and makes your UV-reactive parts (especially if you have a water-cooling system that is UV sensitive) look really awesome. Might want to shut if off from time to time since it can get distracting ;). Good price too. |

It glows, it lights up stuff. Personally I don't use them in computers, but rather behind furniture, shelves, blah blah to make a cool light aura on the wall. In tandem with some garbaged 12v dc adapters, you can put them pretty much anywhere. |

A very good product, glows bright and is an UV source which is a good thing if you are into UV reactive parts. I must admit that the velcro stickers don't stay glued for too long, so be aware (possibly due to the heat). Best at the bottom of a case |

Great product for anyone looking for a UV light in their case. Lights up my water cooling loop quite well, and was a simple matter to snip off the switch and attach this kit to a toggle switch on my fanbus. I ended up buying a second one of these kits to fully frame my case by the window, and to get full coverage of all the components (some were blocked by cards, et cetera) |

I orderd 4 sets of these and there all working great in 2 seperate pc's. We used some fluorescent spray paint over some wire wrap and I couldnt be happier with how the lights brighten up the whole works. I dont think that 2 lights are enough, so make sure you have room in your chassis for 4 cathodes and hide the transformers well, I hid one on the back wall, next to the pci slots and the other in an empty drive bay. |

This UV light fits perfectly in my case. The transformer however is a bit large and hard to hide especially with the length of wire coming from the light. The Velcro on one of my lights is not sticking but this may be due to tension from the short wires. |

These lights work but I would recomend buying 2 sets. You need at least 3 of these light bars to get UV light to all your parts Top, Bottom, and one along the side of your case. I would also recomend getting a UV wire kit to cover up the ugly wire set up these have. I dont know why it does not tell you it comes with a Backplate switch but it does.P.S. For the price no other brand gives you as much. This is by far the best cheap cold cathode kit and I have no idea why you could want another brand since if it doesn't make enough light you can always purchase another kit. This product doesn't have the right picture, it is actually UV cathodes and while if yo utake a picture it will most likely look blue, it really does have a purple color and it doesn,t emit a lot of light, you will msot liekly notice the UV by how the things near the cathode change to a fluo tint. |

Cons:I have 1 light on the inside back of my case and one on the inside bottom of my case, and the cables near the middle top dont 'Glow' very well
Pros:They work!! um they do make UV cables look pretty cool... i also heard that Glow in the dark paint looking AWESOME under UV lights but i havent tried it. Comment:
This is eye-candy plain and simple, but it is cheap and effective eye-candy, so I think it was worth the purchase. |

This is a good way to add a bit of light to a case. Very simple to hook up and with the included switch, you can turn them on or off whenever you want. |
for the price you cant go wrong with these cathodes. my only problem is that 1 pair isnt quite bright enough for my liking. I know that these cathodes arent supposed to create a lot of visible light, so when i say that they arent bright enough i mean they dont illuminate UV components as much as i hoped they would. simple solution: buy another pair! the power brick is somewhat large but i have a huge case so that doesnt bother me. also the on/off switch gets installed on the back of the case which makes it a little awkward to turn them on or off but i have them on all the time so it doesnt bother me. all in all, i give these 4 out of 5 stars. good product i will be buying another set very soon.
