The set is not bad. I thought the keyboard would be slimmer and a lot more like a laptop, but it is much more like a desktop keyboard. Longer stroke distance than a laptop. It is also incredibly clacky. The mouse appears fine. I in no way got to use this because the usb transmitter was lost. I called IOGear to acquire a replacement but they told me that replacements aren't obtainable. So now I have a keyboard and mouse that I can't use due to the fact IOGear has such poor service. If you're not worried about the service and aren't expecting a laptop-like keyboard, then this one isn't poor. But if one thing goes wrong, caveat emptor.

Bought this to control my pc almost 30 feet away on my LCD TV. And it works as advertised, up to 30 feet. You could never dream of gaming with this setup but it works just fine to navigate a pc. Keyboard and mouse look nice too.

They work as advertised! I love the fact that I can sit back on the couch and use that as the mouse pad. Responds when I press or click no problems so far. I still have all my keys on my keyboard none fell off!!!!

The mouse works well for me, using it to control a media center in my living room. Being able to control it from 15 feet away and using the couch as a mousepad is great. On the downside, I've had the keyboard for about a week now and i've had about 15 keys come off already. Luckily they have all been reattachable so far, but its very aggravating for them to fall off so easily.

ORDERED 2 OF THESE IOGEAR LASER WIRELSS KEYBOARDS ALONG WITH A LOGITECH MODEL LX-710. UNPACKED AND INSTALLED THE FIRST IOGEAR ONE TO ONLY DISCOVER THAT NEITHER THE MOUSE NOR THE KEYBOARD WORKED AND BOTH WERE DEADER THAN A DOOR KNOB. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN IRVIVE, CA, AND WAS ON HOLD FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND FINALLY A RECORDING CAME ON ASKING TO LEAVE MY NUMBER AND SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK. WELL, IT NEVER HAPPENED AND NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. I WOULDN'T DARE OPEN THE SECOND ONE AND RETURNED BOTH BACK TO TIGER DIRECT FOR REFUND. THEN INSTALLED THE LOGITECH KEYBOARD WHICH COSTS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE IOGEAR. LET ME TELL YOU. IT IS A FANTASTIC PIECE AND WORKS LIKE A CHARM. NO WONDER EVERYONE SWEARS BY THE LOGITECH KEYBOARDS. THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST AND MOST RELABLE ONES ON THE MARKET. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING ANYTHING ELSE BUT LOGITECH, AND ABOVE ALL DON'T GO NEAR THE IOGEAR.

I order this product on Tuesday and received it on Friday. Good old TigerDirect! Now, the keyboard and mouse... Setup was unpacking both items, putting in the included batteries and plugging in the USB - done. The mouse is comfortable to use and rolls in just about any surface - wood, paper, plastic. The keyboard is streamlined and lightweight. It's great for typing on your lap which is what I've been doing. I don't plan to use it on my desk ever. The best feature on the mouse is the on/off switch to converse the batteries. My pet peeves are: with the keyboard is there aren't any light for the Shift Lock, Num Lock, etc. so you have to type something to see if they're on and the mouse: it didn't come with rechargeable batteries. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I might even give it as a gift.

well i just got it in the mail today 2/18/2009 about two hours ago and so far its working really good i'm sitting on the other side of my room typing right now lol i can't even see what i'm typing really the only things that i think would improve it from my stand point is there is no back light for the key board. then again my other key board didn't have that either? and the mouse seems like it may be kinda sticky as far as the buttons go o one more thing is that it does not have a ''next song'' button on the keyboard but other than that i like it so far i'll will report in a week or so after i have some more time to brake it in right thanks. and the shiping charges were out ragous!
