I used this product to make my old pre-wireless laptop wireless. It worked flawlessly and I haven't had a problem since. There's no complicated set-up, just install the software and go. What a great bargain!!!

For being a recertified device, the wireless adapter works very well haven't had a problem and is also works under windows 7. I went to linksys to download the lastest driver for windows 7 64-bit because only had support for vista.

I ordered 3 of these. Had absolutely no problem installing them, which is unusual for me with networking stuff. Our internet is much faster now.

I had a bit of trouble getting this to connect to the Linksys router using the quick connect feature and had to do the manual installation. No other complaints.

The Linksys Wireless-G Adapter worked perfectly out of the box. Took approximately 30 minutes to load the software, and begin operating. John

It does not have the range of the failed built-in wireless that it replaced. And when you get it in range, at times, it is as slow (or slower than) dial-up. The set-up software on the CD simply did not work. I had to go mfr's website and download the setup software. It would saved a lot of time and aggravation, if they had just told me to download the soft ware in the first place. And it is sort of strange, as it does not notify when it drops the connection. You just wait and wait, eventually you suspect the connection is at fault, then you go through the drill of reconnecting. Again very frustrating. While it is a work-around for a failed built-in wireless, it is just not up to par.

We had a computer in our church office that needed somehow to get wifi. It was in the worst possible location to the signal. The signal had been boosted in every manner, but it still took forever and broke up or lost connection. The highest signal strength was 11. With this handy little guy, it is now a strength of 24 and works like a charm.

I have purchased other usb adapters before and paid alot more for them but this one works great. I had a small difficulty installing it because it is used on a very old computer 8 years old but it works just as well as the higher priced usbs. Thanks

I've been using this for a month now with no problems. My router is in my den downstairs and my computer is in the 2nd floor. Set up was plug and play, detected my router right away with excellent signal strength.
