Records audio obviously from two feet away on my desk. Overall sound good quality is good and sensitivity is great. The base and mic itself are well built and really feel like they will last years. Price This is my third logitech item (Z4 speakers and G5 gaming mouse) and I have been impressed every time. Always performs as advertised.

Very effortless to install with Win 7, incredible clarity, Fantastic backround reduction, and a really sturdy base that holds the mic in place on any flat surface. None so far. I began back up making Youtube vids for the initial time in two years, and my old mic (that I utilized on the line in of my old computer system) was just making way as well racket, so I wanted to get a great medium cost mic for my computer. This one fit all of my desires and I am in awe at the clarity. I am giving this critique five stars, due to the fact I can't give it six.

This is a incredibly basic USB microphone -- plug it in and go. It has one particular button for on/off, and that's it. It delivers wonderful sound good quality from a reasonable distance. I generally have the mic about three feet away from my mouth when I speak, and that's with the mic volume at about 50%. No complaints, genuinely. I purchased this for WoW, so I've not applied it in other applications. I've been told my voice is crisp and clear, even though, so it should be a fantastic general objective mic.

Cons:Light stays on when mic is on...how about a toggle?Quality isn't the greatest. I expect better from something that has a regular price of $40.

Pros:WorksDriverless; installs in about 2 secondsLong cord

If you're looking for a stand mic and don't want to spring for a Blue Yeti, this is basically your only choice outside of really cheapo ones. It works, it installs easily, and it doesn't look half bad. The quality is better than you'll find on the $100 "gaming" headsets, but picks up a fair bit of background noise. To be honest, I expected slightly better quality audio. It's more than adequate, but, yeah...

Its a fantastic product I don't consider that it is exceptionally better than other individuals, but it functions nicely, just like its supposed to. It would be really cool if it had been wireless, but it's not like I didn't know what I was acquiring.

Good Sound High quality; Almost too sensitive.USB connection.Extremely apparent lighted button on the unit. Durabilty / Construct Good quality - but hey for 20$ you can't have anything, right? Would give it five stars, but right after about 6 months of use the button broke on me. I wouldn't shut it off and the green light would go out; I would believe I was muted. However on the web gaming mates could right here me speaking about embarrassing stuff. Not Cool. Got another one particular and it seems to be holding up just fine, now.

Good design, big mute button with light indicator is appreciated. Sound quality is pretty mediocre. I use a decade-old bargain-bin beige desktop microphone upstairs with out a stand and utilizing generic drivers, and it sounds significantly better. It's essentially very concerning as to how in a decade of technological/design advancement, and from a generally-excellent firm, the audio excellent could be significantly worse. Aside from a tinny sound, it's also quite finicky with the direction of exactly where the voice is coming from. It performed poorly working with voice recognition software, but much better than a normal laptop mic. Seriously challenging to recommend this. The mute button alone is worth it for quite a few persons, I suppose, but its inadequacy in undertaking its actual job is a significant blemish on Logitech's product lineup. It's affordable relative to most microphones, but the generic microphones will likely be less than half-value of this model when you read this and I have difficulty believing they could really be inferior in picking up and delivering sound accurately.

Reasonable costHeavy baseSwivel holds positionExcellent sound top quality None I have owned this mic for more than six years and use it Really routinely with Ventrilo or TeamSpeak. Even from 3 feet away and with my Computer speaker and Computer fan only 1 foot from the mic, I under no circumstances have problems with background noise or clarity. Even following six years, the tilt nevertheless holds exactly where I place it, no "drooping" like so many items develop over time. I would advise this mic to anybody.

CheapFairly ClearWeighted BasePlug and play Joint that makes it possible for the microphone to move is Quite flimsy right out of the box. It will stay there but if it gets touched at all, it will fall. Resolution: Turn it 180 degrees and swivel the microphone all the way towards you. Picks up background noise very effortlessly. Everyone will hear whatever you're performing or typing with this mic. Overall really good for skype calls if you're not typing a bunch, or if you use push to talk on ventrilo. I would advocate this to a buddy but warn them of the cons very first.

Seems like a decent microphone from its look Can't get it to work in windows 7 Residence Premium 64 Bit, its listed as an unknown device in the device manager and windows can't find the correct drivers for it(which I think ought to be a generic USB audio driver currently in the software). Attempted finding and installing stated driver manually, but I couldn't uncover it. It must be plug and play but sadly for me it is not, and following searching for a few hours for a repair I'm ready to RMA it.

Exceptional high quality microphone, very sensitive. Can hear from the other side of the house. Just make sure you don't put it in front of your speakers, as in particular circumstances this can trigger feedback! None, it's an excellent mic. Highly recommended. I have 1, and so do all my buddies.

Operates excellent from 3-4 feet awayPretty much also sensitive, It picks up rather a bit of my typing, which my good friends complain about. This is easily fixed by suitable placement. Mute button is handy Base is very massiveThe USB cable is just a tad short to spot it exactly where I'd like. I've been utilizing this for a couple of years now, it has lasted the test of time and still functions good

Modest, doesn't take up alot of desk space, has lengthy adequate cord to reach specific locations but isn't too extended/short. No noise cancelation on it, The microphone part falls down at specific angles, feels cheaply created You get what you spend for. Whilst it functions truly well, it feels cheaply created and has no noise cancelation.

Inexpensive, functions, ppl can hear me (that's the concept right?) sound good quality could be better, but what do you expect for 20 bucks? I don't assume that sound high quality is worse compared to the mic in my MacBook Pro when I use it in Skype... Not seriously a con I would advocate it to other people.

Comment:
Great good quality sound and long range sensitivity for an exceptional cost. Stand is sturdy and weighted. Mute button easily accessible on leading of base. Pivot point on stand is somewhat flimsy. After nearly a year of use, nevertheless, it nevertheless holds the microphone upright sufficiently. If the mic is adjusted continually or roughly utilized, it will surely fail. As is expected of a desk mic, it will choose up ANY background sound, most notably typing.
