Logitech USB Desktop Microphone MIC for PC or Mac
Comment:
Sound top quality is seriously very good. Fits nicely on my desk. Noise Cancellation doesn't operate and it picks up Just about every Little SOUND. I can't figure out how to fix this. This was a single of the causes why I purchased this mic in the initial spot. If the mic did perform effectively, I would of gave it a 5 instead of 3.

Has excellent voice receiving in/out. Quite inexpensive for fantastic high quality. Pretty good bang for the buck if your tired of making use of Headsets. You can literally put this behind your monitor and speak with no worries of people not getting able to hear you. This can also choose up music playing from your speakers so some folks can listen to what you are listening to... this may not be a pro but it's worth mentioning anyway. When getting your Mic placed appropriately, often when you move the actual Mic down closer it falls all the way down.. This gear is a bit flimsy and from time to time the audio on your microphone in the sound possibilities on your personal computer goes all the way to 100 on volume level and it blows out your good friends ears when you try to speak to them or when they tell you that you sound diverse a.k.a LOUD. It's pretty excellent for the cost, but a headset will always be better but this little of piece work does the job. I use Vent/teamspeak. Play on games that use voice comm a.k.a Heroes of Newerth / CSS / BCBF2 and people can hear me just fine.

Outstanding recording good quality for VOIP services such as Skype. I bought this microphone as a replacement for my old one (same model) -- the cord on my old microphone broke off at the base, leaving exposed wires. Not confident how this could have happened.

Pros:Good price and functions well.

Excellent pickup for this type of microphone. It has a huge base and takes up a lot of space on my desk. Doesn't genuinely suit my gaming style, I truly need 1 of those Xbox style microphone head sets, but Comfortable.

Decent audio quality, stable weighted base, mute button straightforward to toggle, simple to see if mic is live vs muted. None. I've been employing this for about two years now, mainly as my mic for Skype sessions with coworkers. (I'm a telecommuter.) Greater audio excellent than the built-in mics on the half-dozen webcams that I've played with over that exact same time period, and a lot easier to check/reach the mute button on this mic than on the webcams.

I bought a pair of these microphones when they first came out many years ago now. I can't tell if they have changed internally since then, but they look the same on the outside still. There is no model number listed anywhere on mine, so I assume they are more or less the same still. The price of these microphones when I bought them were cheaper; I assume their popularity and inflation caused the price to rise. Not many electronics retain their value likes these things apparently.I purchased these Microphones for voice-dictation. I was in a hurry and bought what appeared to be the best microphone at my local store. There were no reviews at the time. I do use these microphones for dictation still, however only casually. I have very expensive philip hand microphones for my daily voice dictation needs, but not all my computers deserve that type of treatment; these logitech ones fill in there. These logitech microphones are noticiable worse at voice dictation than my pro philips mics, but they are still quite good regardless. I do occasionally use these microphones for gaming or for voice-overs at home; the sound is clear and I never get complains about my voice quality. They do pick up a lot of room noise though, such as the spinning of my computer fan or the sound from my headphones! I don't really see this as a complaint, as I like a sensitive microphone, but it can get annoying at times. All in all, a great desktop microphone for the home, but try to find one on sale.

Easily the finest sounding microphone I have ever owned. Individuals on the other end tell me that the excellent if really very good especially considering that I rely on my PC for making skype telephone calls. For my setup, it is a good looking mic that doesn't stand out (who says you have to give up good looks for function). Other than Windows continuously putting it as five% when it disconnects, no cons with this mic. If you require a great mic for gaming or for skype, this is the mic for you and a good cost. I own two and appreciate them.

Its an overall excellent mic for what you pay, I bought this for recording sounds out of the studio so that I don't have to lug around bigger and heavier mics. It gets the job accomplished and then some. So far the sound excellent is fairly crisp and its just overall a good mic. The base is metal so its got some weight to it. Sound cancellation is really excellent on it as effectively. Its no studio mic, but it seems so far its very good sufficient for me to get by with having some sounds recorded by this out in a park or wherever, and some by my superior mics. One of the best points is I don't require unique drivers for it. Plug it in, it sets itself up and your on your way. Also the cord is very long. The light is green, Not a massive deal naturally, Just like things to match. Also the neck of the mic down by where it attaches to the base seems fairly flimsy. So DO be cautious with it. I will Probably write another review on this item when I've had a opportunity to use it totally. Considering that I've just performed some test here.

Comment:
Sensitive and picks up sounds incredibly nicely. Feels sturdy and doesn't distort the sound too much. Noise canceling doesn't work at all (the key reason I even bought it) and picks up everything from my computer fan to the dogs on the other side of my property. The only way to eliminate those sounds is to turn down the recording volume and then I have to essentially swallow the mic to be heard.Unless you live some exactly where quiet I'd be wary about acquiring this. The lengthy cord and the cost nearly make up for the lack of noise canceling, virtually.

This mic will choose up sounds from across the space. I can be clearly heard from at least 10 feet away. I'd buy it once again mainly because of this alone and price. I like the mute button.Extremely sensitive. In ventrillo and TS3, it sounds excellent. In game voice COD WaW sounds great but in Black Ops not so superior but it's the servers not the mic. It does pick up sounds from the speakers incredibly simply. The stand gets shed extremely soon. with in a month. I don't see a way to tighten it. If it gets to the point were it won't remain upright then I will super glue it in position or use tape. for this it losses an egg. If someone says the sound is low then it's their set up or a defective mic. It happens. I've had it for over a year from new egg.

Sound excellent appears ok. Individuals can hear me fine when playing games on Steam. That is the principal cause I purchased this mic. The ball and socket joint that permits the mic to adjust is a piece of junk. It is so lose that anything 20 degrees or additional past vertical lets the mic just fall flat to the desk. I read quite a few very good critiques and this is extremely dissapointing. Minus three eggs for poor style. I have numerous, several logitech goods over the years, and their stuff is ususally best-notch and at a superior cost. This 1 is not worth the time or expense to RMA and pay for return shipping. Beware. Looks like I will need to discover a position I am pleased with and super glue it into location. Real classy, and will certainly make storing it annoying when not in use.

This mic is amazing. It picks up properly, even from a number of feet away. It picks up even far better than an average tape recorder which makes it great for recording voice with a netbook. Extremely suggested. None! Awesome mic! Newegg rocks!

Great, sturdy microphone. It is Very clear when talking in game on both the PS3 and on PC games. Good on and off button, that lights up in Green when its on. I gave it a fourǛ eggs, due to the fact it came a day late, for no aparent reason, I orderd it at 10 in the morning, ordered 2 day shipping, and for some reason, it came in four since it was put on hold for some cause, plus it came in this massive a s s box, that was 20 times to big for the actual package. I also gave it four eggs, since you cannot exspect to yell into this mic, since if you do, it screws it up, and you have to turn it on then off a couple of instances prior to it works correct. (Screaming/talking loud, was generating prank calls on skype lol?). Great mic, doubt you would be sorry. G O O D M I C F O R T H E P R I C E .

Excellent high quality. Picks up my voice perfectly. Filters out background noise. I don't know how it does it, but people today can be making noise in the next room, and I can record my voice and not their noise. Works in Ubuntu Linux without having a hitch. The angle of the microphone is adjustable, you can feel it click as you adjust the position, the small satisfying clicks have already grow to be weaker and I assume it will be falling flat immediately after a even though. It truly doesn't matter, since this factor will perform lying flat on my desk anyway. The only way to get a much better Microphone is to spend 跌+ for a recording studio quality microphone.

Just plug it in and it works, and it works well. If anything, the mic is truly TOO sensitive. My buddies in ventrilo cringe when I talk and my dog is running about clanging the tags on her collar. I got this as an option to the standard PSǘ microphones I had, simply because my motherboard's PSǘ microphone slot decided to quit working 1 day. I certainly haven't been disappointed by this acquire.

-Men and women on the other side say they can hear me wonderful.-Uncomplicated to turn on and off- just plugged in and played, didn't have to adjust any settings -The base of the microphone can be flimsy which makes it hard to get the microphone at the perfect angle -A excellent pickup if you will need a superior microphone -I have the microphone a couple feet away from me when I speak

cost. * It only works the 1st time you plug it in. Logitech's support is clearly stubborn on this problem and demands you to log-in to comment. (I've located that you have to disable and re-allow the device in Windows before it basically works once again) Since Logitech refuses to function to resolve the issue (view the forums for oneself) I don't mind roasting them here.* Even with mute button on, severe noise on the line compared to when the mic is unplugged.* I'm making use of this for video voice capture. It's only mildly far better than an analog mic so far. Because of the ON light, this button ought to be an ON AIR button rather than a MUTE button - that is, the depressed position really should be ON AIR, rather than MUTE.

This is a fair exchange for seventeen dollars. I sound like I have a cold if I listen to the playback. Also, there is no mic increase alternative, and it isn't incredibly loud when it's additional than a few inches from my mouth. It's not terribly quiet, but it would ideally be twice as loud. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I notice the manual is written for xp and earlier. Perhaps this just a Windows 7 (and possibly Vista) issue. Not poor, but I would just spend a small a lot more on a better mic.
