Overclockers Dream
Comment:
The first one I got my usb ports were all dead. I did a return and my new one works great with my new 940BE.Overclocking this thing to 3.5 and just let it there all the time runs cool. This has to be the coolest looking mobo in my clear side case I have ever saw. Alot of led ligts right on the board. This is a good Gaming mobo. Once you get one that works. I would say get it just make sue you have a spare Pc in case your first one don't work.

Great bang for buck
Comment:
Just a motherboard that runs with what it supports, and does it well. Cheap, effective solution. I would buy again for a good mid-range machine.

Great Buy; Great Price
Comment:
The board was a great price for its features. I have never bought anything othere than MSI Motherboards because I have never had a single problem with them. I have friends who did builds with GIGABYTE and ASUS boards and have both had to replace them within 1-2 years. Just did a build with this Motherboard, I have every confidence it will not disappoint.

Excellent and Easy
Comment:
I got the MB and CPU combo to replaced an old MB. Added 4GB RAM and it booted straight away. So many great features. The kit fan came with thermal gum, so no messing with gel. The on-board graphics and DVI connector mean no extra heat from video card. Only complaint is Ubuntu can't get drivers for on-board graphics, but XP found drivers. Debian did slightly better. On-board graphics is also a bit slow for many tasks. Add a nice SLI graphics card and a better fan and POW - pass the keyboard!

very good buy
Comment:
i got this as a motherboard / cpu deal... i got a quad core amd processor (processor number 9500) and when i went to install i ran into alot of trouble and thought i fried it but after a system check i found out that my dvd drive was destroyed for some reason so i tried a diff. drive and bam it worked.... there are so many features on this motherboard that i cannot believe that it actually was able to be all wrote into the bios without any major or minor conflicts... this is a great buy and for the most part is all plug and play... it comes with a detailed map of the motherboards headers and is very simple to understand... this mobo supports high end amd processors without any problems and is a very fast machine overall the best i have ever had

Great product
Comment:
This is the second MSI board I have bought. I really like it. The live update is very cool--it will automatically check the update website for any BIOS or driver updates and install them if you want. It sure beats the Asus board I purchased. I never have been able to get it to update, so I can't get it to work with my HDMI TV-which is why I bought it. Just be sure to plug everything into the board securely. On both MSI boards, I could not get the IDE or the SATA or the memory to work. But I unplugged, then replugged them in (it took a couple of tries), but they worked! Also.the SATA didn't work until I plugged them into the slots that are facing the edge of the board. Then they were recognized.

dont be afraid...
Comment:
Great service , fast and complete delivery. I have never before attempted to build my own PC and had plenty of hessitations. With this kit it is extremely straightforward. result; great PC for a fraction of the built price. Few suggestions: * you really do need the 180 degree SATA cable (not the 90 degree) * do NOT update your BIOS unless you know what you are doing or are prepared to lose hair over it. * The CPU fan is fairly silent, but the additional corsair RAM fan makes more noise than I had hoped * The motherboard will only support up to 8Gb of RAM, which will do for now but might not be enough in the long run. All in all great product and you do not have to be a wizz to put it together ... just find step-by-step instructions online

Mostly a good MoBo
Comment:
This board exhibits all the features a PC Builder could ask for. I was however disappointed to find that it absolutely will not accept more than two RAM sticks. I had four ordered with my setup and they all worked but the board would only accept two at a time.

MSI quality
Comment:
This was my First build using an SLI motherboard. This board really exceeded my expectations. The only complaint i may have is the SATA connectors need to be moved or reangled up so they can be accessed a bit easier. I had to remove the cable tie in that area of my case to get the cables plugged in.

Great performance
Comment:
This board works extremely well and was easy to install. Only issue is that MSI needs to move the SATA connections a little further up the board. Plugs are a tight fit next to the hard drive enclosure.

A few SATA Issues
Comment:
Bought this bundled with the AMD Phenom X4 9500, Ultra X-Blaster ATX Mid-Tower Case, and SATA Hard Drive. Also purchased a SATA CD/DVD drive, so I could install my OS. Installation was easy, all the screws and cables were provided. However, the documentation provided was very general. For example no specific details about which SATA connector was for which channel. Installed the SATA hard drive and SATA CD/DVD drive into the two vertical SATA connectors on the MB and fired up the system. Turns out these two SATA connector/channels were not recognized in the MB BIOS. Even though there were six(6) SATA connector/channels on the MB only four(4) were available in the BIOS. The other four SATA channels are located in right angle connectors on the back edge of the MB next to the 3 1/2'' drive mounting box. The only way to install a SATA cable into any of these four connectors is by unbolting the MB or removing the 3 1/2'' drive mounting box. Otherwise, the system works great!

Really good choice for gaming experience
Comment:
I put up constantly computers for gaming and i always try to do it as cheap as i can with the best performance 2gether. This time i went with this motherboard, and for settigns wise, it has evrything somebody would want. Ive putted it up with an nvidia 9800gt and a good cpu and memory, and i dont regret it. One thing, i had to put one memory first in the slots, boot up in bios and put my settings, then close, put the 4 memories in and boot again. Without this it was a black screen... So finally i recommend it to anybody who knows wat gaming is about and not just about neons around!

Fantastic value for legacy upgrades!
Comment:
I purchased this motherboard as a bundle with the Phenom 9500 processor to upgrade my current Athlon XP system. I've built and upgraded my systems since the Intel 486 came out and have stayed with AMD since the K2-6 and this was arguably the easiest swap out I've done. The motherboard is a bargain for those who wish to upgrade legacy systems and has PS2 mouse and keyboard connectors, a floppy drive connector, and 2 IDE ports, all of which simplified my swap out. The motherboard USB and FireWire ports (4/2 on the back panel and 2/1 with an included extender bracket) greatly simplified the wiring for my peripheral accessories and the built-in DVI port allowed me to immediately test and configure the system. The board fired up on the first try and once the new drivers were loaded things worked without a hitch. Sadly, the on-board LEDs are a waste for me as I don't have a clear case. If you want a value upgrade board, buy this product!

Great Board, Great Price
Comment:
This is my first MSI board, only my second build but I must say that I am very pleased so far. Board seems very high quality, which is one of the reasons I went with MSI this time around. Put everything together and system POSTed without any tinkering, installed OS and was up and running within a of couple hours. Great overclocking options in BIOS. I would definitely purchase another one of these.
