ASUS who??
Comment:
I absolutely loved this board! Very compliant with what needed to be build. Paired it with 8gb 1066 DD2 and an AMD 9950 BE. Runs like a champ, and many great features too. Not to mention plenty of fan inputs for controlling via software. Thanks!

MUST HAVE!
Comment:
The Dual-core Cell is amazingly quite. The circu-pipe and it's cooling system can be CPU controlled or manually controlled but it maintains a very cool temperature I almost didn't get a cooling fan system. SLI Interface is what makes this stand out. It is basically compatible with every kind of connection there is!! Please just get this.

Great Board!
Comment:
I bought this bundled with the AMD Phenom X4 9500. My main concern were finding the options that I wanted on the MB. Upgrding from a PATA system to SATA system and needed the IDE headers to migrate my existing hardware. This board was way ahead of simularly price boards where optins are concerned. Board did arrive missing the SLI Bridge, but a simple call to MSI tech Support was all that was needed. The bridge was in the mail the next day. I love this board! Suggestion: The Manual that comes with the board is sparce. Go to the MSI site and download the the manual. Best Product and Deal Ever!
Comment:
The BEST mobo I have ever seen, let alone used or owned, hands down. OC Dial, so you can overclock at the push of a button. Solid capacitors are semi-standard fare these days, but still nice to have. The mobo has a built-in POST diagnostic LED, so if something goes wrong, you don't have to use a possibly expensive PCI POST diagnostic card, you can just read the LED display. Power and reset buttons built in to the motherboard as well as normal case button connections, for diagnostic purposes. Extremely efficient power-wise. Two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (adjusts to x8 slots if all two are being used for CFX). Too many other pros to list. Best AM2 motherboard on the market. I would buy again!

OK, just built a smokin' fast system with this board last weekend. I was so impressed that I bought another board, and lo and behold, it won't POST! An early reviewer had the same prob, 4 red LED's. I even swapped out, one at a time, DDR2, CPU, Grafx card(s) to no avail. An educated guess would be that MSI had a bad batch of AM2 sockets. The CPU jumped at me when I lifted the lever on the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket. And yes, I know how to install a CPU, it should fall in and out. I put an X2 5200+ in after the 7750 failed to init, and it bent 2 pins! Tiger is sending a replacement mobo, tho, thanx Tiger!

This was a dream build. Very nice cmos setup. This mobo recognized everything I threw at it for a MONSTER gaming rig. Make sure you get the RAID controller floppy d/l's from MSI b4 you set up this bruiser for an array. RAID5 was seamless. Couldn't believe the speed with an AMD X2 7750 AM2+ and 4GB OCZ dual channel platinum PC8500. Great price, outstanding performance, bye-bye ASUS. Out.

Bought because my old board blew up due to power surge, put origional harddrive back in and booted back up to where i had it the day it burned up! thanks tiger!!!

This is the First MSI MotherBoard that I have ever bought and I have to say that I have never been more dissapointed. The logic board was bad and the computer was totaly usless. When I cleared the CMOS as I was told by tech support it said the the CMOS checksum was BAD!!! Meaning that this Motherboard is built more for Looks rather than quaity. I can not strees enough to you DONT BUY THIS MOTHERBOARD!!! It is junk. P.S. I was told by my fellow computer experts not to go with a MSI motherboard for this very reason. I figured that the odds of it happening to me were to reomote. Aparently not.

First cpu build, phenom 9850, 8800 GTS... Issues with this board are 2 very minor points. #1} The placement of the 6 sata ports. The ones perpendicular to the board physically prevent the installation of the video card if there's a cable in em. The parallel sata ports: I couldn't put in due to the hard drive slots in my UltraXblaster case. Removed the HD slots but have only 1 Hd bay now. Have 4 sata to work with due to video card. 2 IDE's, atleast 4 fan jacks. Put a maxorb on it with little difficulty (32-42C) #2) The DVI-D out. Potential disaster: No VGA adapter. It's not DVI-A, which all the stores carry. That means if you need to go to VGA, or anything but HDMI for that matter, get A DVI-D to VGA adapter from tiger when you order this mobo! (The videocard thrupassed the signal for me, and I had an adapter for the video card to vga) All in all, good board for the price. I romped on this board a few times with the memory and fan... I thought it was strong.

I received this board about 2 days ago, and I must say, MSI has failed to let me down once again. Fired right up after install without a hint of a struggle. Great bios. Great software for easy CPU overclocking and fan contols. Great features. This is by far the best motherboard under 150 bucks. I highly recommend this board. Works fantastic with my AMD Phenom. A++
