Fast forward to my latest build, and with a new SSD the install went very fast and without any issues. Still had a mess of updates to download, but nearly as bad as I recall I went through with Vista. So far I've been pleased with the speed and stability of Win7.I suggest that people put off activating their copy of Windows until they have finished 'tinkering' with their build.
