Solid phone that is more logical than most
Comment:
I am a contractor and have dropped it multiple times onto the road while getting out of my car, using it in the rain, exposure to volatile vapors, etc. Eventually I killed it after 3 years of this abuse. I took the ''free phone'' with signing a new 2 yr. contract. Since I switched jobs to an office and a desk, I tried several phones and settled on the Sony-Ericsson 580-I. I ''upgraded'' three other family members at the same time. We really miss the quality and logical layout of the Razr V3. They also have not lasted as long.

Overall Good Deal
Comment:
Got it quick and works fine. The only concern was the battery life seems shorter but may just need to pick up a new battery.

OK
Comment:
I've bought these for kids. The RAZR is a good solid basic phone. Be warned: This is a former T-Mobile phone with an amateurish hack un-lock. It still flashes up the 'T-Mobile' logo and attempts to connect to the t-mobile network. Every time you power-up the phone, it will get a text message about an incorrect number (from 1121611611). That's OK if you have unlimited text messages... The battery that shipped with this phone was 3rd party - not MOTO. It had 4 hours of stand-by. Supplier has promised to mail me a replacement.

GREAT PHONE FOR THE PRICE
Comment:
I USED TWO OF THESE PHONES ON OUR OVERSEAS VACATION; AFTER INSERTING THE SIM THE PHONES WORKED FLAWLESSLY EXCEPT THE DATE AND TIME DOES NOT AUTO ADJUST; MAY BE CAUSE THEY HAVE T-MOBILE SOFTWARE. ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING WITH TRACKING OF ORDER WAS TOP NOTCH. THE QUALITY OF A V3 RAZOR AT THIS PRICE CAN'T BE BEAT. ABSOLUTELY 100% LOVED IT.

Don't get taken!!
Comment:
The phone is great! As for being unlocked??? Well the one I bought will not connect anywhere or anyway to any site!! Wap browser will not connect. Bluetooth isn't unlocked! Data ready. phone says yes, doen't work. Browser ready, doesn't work. As there ads say, just drop in your sim card & go!!! All these features work on $10.00 phone from Walmart!!! Put in sims card Razr????????? You can make receive calls that's all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oldie but not bad
Comment:
Needed a T-Mobile phone for work, but nothing fancy since I also have a personal iPhone. The Razr's user interface seems very clumsy in comparison to the Apple phone, but what doesn't? No problem, just drop in the SIM card and talk. Call quality is decent, size and feel are quite good. A great phone for it's time, and still a good choice for the basics at a bargain price.

Works Great on Rogers
Comment:
My girlfriend's phone stopped working after 10 months, and since it is a pay as you go, there is no option for a warranty replacement phone. Ordered this phone, and it arrived in two business days, so shipping was fast. I charged up the phone, inserted the card from her old phone, and voice, text, and voice mail, worked flawlessly. The phone is a branded T-Mobile phone, so I configured her phones internet settings to her network, and internet works fine too. Great buy, fast shipping.

Great deal on a great phone!
Comment:
I have to say I was shocked at the ease of getting this phone up and running. I am a T-Mobile user and my previous phone died and without signing the magic 2 year contract they wanted a fortune for just a basic phone, which is all I need, voice and txt mostly, a pic once in a while... Simply charged the phone, took the SIM card out of the old phone popped it in the new and voilla, I'm up and talking again. The phone is very good quality as you would expect from a Motorola! Thanks Carl!

It works just fine (for about a month now). As described, it's firmware is set for TMobile network, but it's small oddities on ATT network haven't bothered me enough to try and

Good Phone - T-Mobile Network!!
Comment:
Phone works great as described. It is a T-Mobile phone, so if you are using it on a different network, you will need to flash the phone to that network.

Nice replacement phone
Comment:
After hearing my 2 sons brag about their RAZRs on our T-M plan, I thought I'd try one (for only 70 bucks!). I swapped in my SIM card from my Nokia 6133 and it has worked flawlessly for the past 2 weeks (I just have to get used to doing things differently than the ''Nokia'' way). I wish I'd got one a long time ago (but the T-M rep talked me out of it back then, for a lousy Samsung t619).

I brought this phone for my wife and she has had it with not keeping a charge. She has to switch out battaries because this phone will not charge the battary. It is not fit to be for sell. Please do not buy this phone.

Buy a different supported phone
Comment:
I bought this phone as a travel phone to be used with local phone cards. It sends out continuous text pings, resulting in charges and an always full in box. TD will not support the phone nor will their supplier. Buy a supported phone.
