Fantastic price tag point. My MacBook Pro did NOT like this item. After a couple hours of use, the laptop got excessively hot and things like copy paste, drag and drop and print stopped operating. I installed this in a Dell Vostro 1500. Operates well, no problems. Shows an boost in capability on tests more than the 2gb I started with. Freinds recommended mushkin. Very good price. All rebates are a pain. Any individual with a Dell Vostro 1500 beware. A single memory stick is behind a door on the bottom, the other is below the keyboard. Vista takes a very good extended time to figure out you've added memory, so bring a sandwich.

At times it appears to run slower then the old 1GB, often not.
