Looked decent on the Newegg solution page. Supplies the incorrect voltages to just about almost everything. ƳV reads Ƴ.1. იV reads anything like ი.three. Ʊ.3 reads Ư.9V but I don't know if that's correct due to the fact HWMonitor reports that for each power supply (four of them) I've tested. But I guess that's inside spec. All in all decent, and will probably operate just fine for a handful of years. It's most likely worth ์. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we recommend that you check voltages with a high quality voltmeter, as motherboard readouts (and HW monitor) can be incorrect. Please take a look at the PSU section of our help forums at the hyperlink under for testing knowledge. Thank youExternal Link(s): OCZ Assistance Forums|

Quiet. Red leds are visible, but not too vibrant. Modular. Cables are properly wrapped. Handy case for unused cables. None so far. Appears wonderful and feels heavy. Great cost with rebate and absolutely free shipping!

That I will not be utilizing this firm anymore The dead merchandise itself. The assistance team behind this product that is made up of mainly youngsters from what I can inform. They have really wasted my time in my attempts to acquire an RMA. They take days to respond by way of standard RMA course of action. I have been insulted by their staff, and they have been deleting my complaints from their fourm's. This says sufficient about a company for me, I will be using a various vendor for future purchases. Modular (mostly). Pretty red glow. Hasn't blown up. Tends to make power. What can I say, it's working fine. Cables appear extremely brief. This is the 1st PSU I've installed myself, so possibly this is normal, but the MB power cables had been too short/stiff to route around the cable management in my case. SATA cables have three ends on every single, but the cord was so short that as soon as I plugged 1 into my HD, it wouldn't reach to the DVD drive, so I had to use a complete separate cable for it. Does any individual really will need a travel pouch for their modular cables? Seriously? It's cute though.

Cables have lots of lenth as nicely as becoming modular. A single point I wish additional modulars would do is enable you to plug in all of the cables and possibly even enabling you to plug in adapters to the sata power so you can have two, three, or 4 per line. That way when you have only two products that need to be powered by Sata, you can make the wiring look clean.

This PSU has great amperage and suits my EVGA GTX 460 nicely as this model employs a dual 12+ rail design creating it excellent for my card. The PSU also include things like an addition two pins on a single of the 12+ rails for use with higher up cards like the GTX480맒맜.PSU is aesthetically pleasing to appear at I like that it consists of a incredibly cool looking red LED (accents the black color of the unit well), a large fan (very quiet), and a mesh backing for increased cooling. Additionally, it is modular, creating it wonderful for these who program on upgrading their machines in the close to future like me and is specifically perfect for clearing space inside your rig. All extraneous cable, which are sleeved and appear great in your case, come in a incredibly good tote bag for effortless storage for later use.At present, I'm utilizing this on a stock laptop or computer and am moderately satisfied with its performance as a result far as I purchased it for ๐.99 at the time for 550 watts. Good wattage for a fantastic price tag. A week right after I purchased it, it started randomly shutting of my computer right after some time. (even when not under considerably load) In some cases, my pc would basically freeze and reboot shortly immediately after. I submitted an RMA for it but decided to give it a different opportunity as the PMA was pending just to make positive. Started randomly operating once again so I decided to not RMA it immediately after. Now, nearly a month into my puchase, it started to sometimes power off like ahead of. Now it seems to be in right operating order. General, I assume OCZ ought to perform a small far more item testing to make sure their items don't see a RMA, or in my case a potential one. Just fits in my mATX case so be cautious. I had to move some wires around.Decent cable length but again not an apparent concern as i have a stock mATX type factor.Note: Red LED can not be turned off by suggests of a switch, but isn't that conspicuous.Program:-AMD Athlon II 215 (Duo Core) ʂ.7 GHz-OS: Windows 7 House Premium 64-bit-4gb DDR3-500gb HDD [SATA II]-Motherboard: M2N68-LA (Narra6)->Form aspect: microATX - 24.four cm ƙ.6 inches) x 24.4 cm ƙ.six inches)->Discrete Graphics: EVGA GTX 460->Memory sockets: 2 x DDR3->Processor socket: AM3(Going to upgrade to either a quad/hexacore soon)-20" 16ɍ LCD 񢃀x900)

Easy to install, modular style, quietest thing in my computer, powers every thing I needed. This is way far better than my final PSU (which kept producing my Television in the similar space static) and I don't consider I'll ever go back to another PSU business. 80+ certification can't be beat either. None Cables are a small stiff, annoying in my little case but bending them about a Small helped.

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 AMD3, AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto three.2GHz. Enjoy the modular design (my initial) for keeping clutter out of the situation (LIAN LI Lancool Pc-K62). Stable and powerful. Great extras like bag to hold cables not in use. As other people have said, if you have a bottom mount case (I do) the motherboard PS cables are a JUST fit. My case is fairly big, even though and the energy connectors were at the extremely major of the board. Yet another 1ǘ" and I would have been in difficulty. Fatality really ought to give you just a different inch or so. They in all probability kept it short to stay away from clutter. In this situation they erred a small as well considerably on that side :)

The red led makes for a really pretty paperweight when turned on. Avoid this powersupply and this organization. The powersupply killed my processor and mobo. I filed a claim with ocz asking for my goods to be replaced, not new ones, just what I had just before their product destroyed my gear. And like any shady organization would do, said their product was not at fault and would not be replacing anything. I do feel its funny that the replacement powersupply they sent is a distinct revision than the original 1. Sounds like a issue was recognized and fixed but still sold to the end user with no a care. I am a certified pc technician and have been undertaking this for numerous years. So please trust my input when I tell you that I know what I am carrying out and did not result in this myself. This company is extremely shady and is only after making whatever dollar they can any way they can. I can't say enough poor factors about this product and corporation to steer you to one thing worth your cash.

Modular Cable Design, quiet, 80+ plus rating, excellent cable management. First boot of computer gave me a video card error beep. Checked connections all were very good booted back up worked for a although. Then last week the video card died right after I reset windows. Makes me wonder if it wasn't the PSU considering that I had no complications with the vid card all this time till this PSU. Video Card is out of warranty so just on the off chance of my achievable difficulties and some of the critiques I have gone back and read considering that this happened I do not consider I would acquire yet another OCZ product. Not worth the possibility IMO and now considering that I sent in the rebate it is achievable I just have a paperweight unless I threat yet another Vid card to test. I haven't used a modular before, but they are I am going to use for now on. It is a quiet, potent PSU with a red light coming from the fan. Pretty cool. It didn't come with any ties to wrap up the wires. I can use zip ties, but a couple would be nice. I am not an overclocker or run my method hard. *Cool LED Lighting*Nice, large, slow-spinning, quiet fan*Keeps itself and the rest of the program cool*Provides a big amount of power on its dual 12v rails Just installed this in an Antec Three Hundred. It is clear that this energy supply was not created for bottom mounting. In specific, the CPU energy cable is nearly also short, and the SATA power cables are oriented the incorrect way to quickly attach to drives. I built a new computer with this provide final week, after utilizing it for the greater element of a year just before that. Please note the motherboard and situation specs, simply because it was tough to reach the cable to the CPU power port, and impossible to do any type of cable management for that cable.Specs:CPU: Intel i5-2500KVideo Card: MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OCMotherboard: MSI P67A-G43 (B3)Power Supply: OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTYRAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 2 x 4GB 1333Tricky Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD1501FASSCPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus DVD Drive: Lite-On iHAS224-06
