None I bought this PSU to replace a five yr old PSU that died on me. I installed the PSU and it fried my HDD and motherboard on start out up. From now on, I will pay the premium for greater excellent products. It's just not worth the hassle. Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry that you have had difficulties. Due to the fact your last PSU died, it would be difficult to say that your replcement PSU did the harm with out testing it. If you would like to apply for an RMA directly with OCZ, we will examine your PSU and your damaged gear. We stand behind all OCZ merchandise. OCZ Fatal1ty Series Power Supply - 550-Watt, PCI-Express, SATA, ATX
Cons:- MIR- Short 4-pin and 8-pin ATX cable- PSU is longer (front to back) than usually

Pros:+ Nice LED+ Modular+ Inexpensive+ 80 Plus
Comment:
Good 550W 80-plus PSU for $55-$25MIR. The red LEDs are not very bright and aren't annoying at night. Installation was quick thanks to the modular cables. The 8-pin and 4-pin ATX cables are a bit short, so you might want to buy an extension cable for cases with a bottom-mounted PSU. Fan is very quiet, near silent in a Dell Vostro 230 (CPU fan was louder). Works great, powering a low-end system with a 8800GT.

OCZ Fatal1ty Series Power Supply - 550-Watt, PCI-Express, SATA, ATX
Cons:Not full modular

Pros:Nice performance, silence and it is modular
Comment:
I found this computer on a super sale just for $30, which it is enough for run a crossfire with a couple of 5770. Also it is silence and it has the big advantage of being modular, which makes look my case nicer and allows a better air flow when you don't have unnecessary cables. The only thing is that like it is not fully modular, has a one 4 pin CPU cable and one 8 pin CPU cable; they could just put a couple of 4 pin cables and it will b enough.

I hate LED's but the red light isn't blaring at all.Long enough wires for a Mid tower case "Antec 300"Modular.Huge and incredibly quiet fan. Not truly a con but I did have to reach over my video card with the 4pin energy connector. I'll be ordering an extender soon. Out of my Arctic Freezer Pro 7 and this Energy Supply, the energy supply is a tiny bit a lot more quieter. Can't hear nothing at all unless you put you ear right on it.

Pros:excelllent deal, large quiet fan, modular-no unneceessary cable to deal with inside the case

OCZ Fatal1ty Series Power Supply - 550-Watt, PCI-Express, SATA, ATX
Cons:-Only 550W-Could have passed with the FATAL1TY branding

Pros:-Modularity!
Comment:
Picked this PSU up for a budget gaming system. Awesome build quality, trusted company (OCZ remains very respectable considering their occasional product mishaps) and what to say about it being modular! Picked it up for $36 on special and couldn't be happier. Only planning on getting one video card so this should be able to hold up no problem (no dual-gpu's of course).

OCZ Fatal1ty Series Power Supply - 550-Watt, PCI-Express, SATA, ATX
Cons:some may not like the red psu fan

Pros:CheapSeems to pull more than its own weight
Comment:
I bought this for a cheap backup but thought that before I put it on the self I would make sure it was not DOA. What better way to do that then hook it up to a 2500K at 5.0Ghz running prime small ffts and two GTX 460 in SLI oc'd to 900 Mhz core with 1.1v running loops of 3DMark11. This PSU is rated for 50A on the 12V rails so I thought it should be a good test... perhaps a little more discretion should have been taken but oh well. I ran the tests for around half an hour and there were no issues. Using a Blue Planet (Kill-a-watt type device) I showed a MAX AC usage of 787W AC!! That is ~630W DC that the PSU was asked to output! The PSU never felt warm to the touch and without more equipment I cannot comment further on the ability of this PSU to produce quality power at such high levels of current. That all said I thought I would share my "testing" here and say that this PSU is worth the $30 I paid.

OCZ Fatal1ty Series Power Supply - 550-Watt, PCI-Express, SATA, ATX
Cons:OCZ 'reliability', red lighting

Pros:Modular cabling, quiet fan, red lighting
Comment:
After a previous OCZ power supply died a nasty death (about 3 weeks out of warranty) and took a motherboard and RAM with it (even behind an APC UPS), I swore I'd avoid OCZ Power Supplies in the future. But, when the fan in our second desktop with a 9year old Enermax power supply started to go, I thought I'd give this a try - at $29.99 after MIR along with free shipping for my entire order (I was ordering a bunch of other stuff anyway) it seemed like a fair gamble.I must say the packaging, build quality, and modular design impressed me as I unpackaged and installed, and the fan is surprisingly quiet. As for the red lighting, eh. Certainly not a selling point for me, but not a show stopper either. After my last bad OCZ power supply experience, I doubt I'd trust one in my primary rig, but in a lower power secondary machine it's fine for me.

Cons:-This PSU will make you look like a tool if anyone discovers you have one

Pros:-Cheap when on sale-Modular
Comment:
At sale price, this PSU is hard to pass up. I wouldn't get it at full retail price, but thank goodness for weekly specials. The whole fatality tagging seems so gimmicky to me... its like VTEC in a Civic, except VTEC actually does something... Anyways, 550W at 80+ Certified, I'm happy with this purchase for a cheap budget build.

Excellent way to upgrade or have wonderful cable management for a medium-little to significant create, each alike. The only program I could discover that was effective adequate to handle most graphics card ratings, and have the cool red LED fan for around this cost!Solid covered cables.Modular - (Nuff Said)Clips hold tight and snug.Plenty of Cables for X-fire.Several mounting holes for easy install.Quiet surprising.Red LED.Directs the air out the Back, not the Leading. None at all. This was a obtain for a quick create Gaming technique. Amazing job OCZ, superior stuff correct here!

Good create excellent, dependable power output, excellent price, quiet Red LED makes me believe my PC is on fire... but maybe that's just me. This PS works definitely well in my video editing method. With 2 quiet case fans in my method, this PC is practically inaudible. I frequently find myself looking at the energy light on the front of the case to be positive that it is turned on. I don't know about other OCZ products but this one is exceptional, specially for mid-range to lower upper-range systems. I know that my system is not taxing this PS but that is a excellent thing. Power supplies that have 30-40% a lot more power output capacity than a method needs is a very good thing. That enables the PS to run cool, quiet, and reliable. Been working with this PS for 8 months now and it hasn't given me any troubles whatsoever. I would get an OCZ PS once more, specially one from the Fatal1ty series.

A perfectly fine mid-range energy supply. I'm giving a low rating due to OCZ's galling rebate policy. OCZ lures customers with the rebate price then creates needless hurdles to turn the rebate method into a profit center. The current scam is they want 10% of the rebate back or you wait an additional 2 months for them to pay. What's subsequent - give them 50% of the rebate back or wait 9 months? This isn't beyond OCZ's manage - they've elected to put their clients by way of this. They could have gone for an instant price break - but that would have cost them a couple additional bucks.

Love the attachable cables. You can selectively pick on the energy cables you need, eliminating the will need to deal with loose cables later floating in your case. Really nice packaging with a pouch included to stow your remaining cables for future use. I don't care about the led, it would have been nice to turn off the light.
