I've owned this PS for about a year now, and I'm so impressed with it that I had to obtain another one for a backup property server construct. None. OCZ requires care to pack it incredibly well.

ModularCables wrapped in mesh for protection, and keeps the wires with each other.Quiet fan, or at least inaudible over my stock cpu fan, which is currently fairly quiet. None LIGHTExcellent red glow into the personal computer coming from the fan.Red light exiting the back is dimmer.MODULARThe 20ƲPin, 12V(P4), and 12VƘPin) are non-detachable, and the rest come in a zipper pencil situation variety bag, along with a tiny bag of 4 screws.Everything is good and clean. Fantastic for little but effective builds.Compact, modular, and effective for a Incredibly eye-catching priceRed LEDs make you cool and possibly give you Ƴ FPS The voltages look okay, but a single of the 12V rails certainly gave me troubles. Power to my tough drive kept cutting out until I switched rails and replaced the cables. For now everything seems fine, and due to the fact I only need 1 12V rail I won't complain, but if similar problems return I'll be writing a really various evaluation.

Wonderful cost considering the function set. The only other very good power supplies in this price range with equivalent capabilities are the OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W or 600W models, and the Antec BP550.Red glowing LEDs. For me LEDs are a con, but most of the Computer men and women I've met like them, so I'll list it in pros. Presently powering:Athlon II x2 250MSI 785gm-p45Samsung Spinpoint 500GB4GB ƒx2GB) Ripjaws 1600MHzCooler Master Hyper 212+four Cooler Master 120mm fansAsus DVD Burner Very first a single was DOA. Understandable. There's always a margin of error for electronics. Not each piece of hardware manufactured can be checked. No difficulties whatsoever with the second 1 that Newegg sent me. Newegg RMA procedure was a tiny fishy. The FAQs state that Newegg will not spend return shipping for defective merchandise. After paying out of pocket and writing a poor critique, consumer service contacted me, and stated it was standard practice to supply totally free return shipping on defective merchandise. They reimbursed me for the shipping. Overall no harm carried out. Excellent on Newegg's part. I just wish they would modify their FAQ page.Direct from the FAQ page."Does Newegg pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise? No, Newegg does not spend the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for item defects, mainly because we do not manufacture the goods we carry. However, if you spend to send the item back to Newegg, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you at no charge. Newegg will employ just about every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, with no hassle."

Cool make, Modular, alot of good characteristics, massive really quiet fan. but Installed it had it beep on me saying I had a video card error so I checked the connections again, almost everything was hooked up fine so tried turning it on once again and it worked. Was working till a day ago when I reset and now can not boot the video card In any program. When my final PSU went i put the video card in my other computer system with no troubles video card was operating excellent until this PSU, now it is dead and Card just went out of warranty a couple months back. Not positive if I want to try yet another video card in it. Considering that i sent in the rebate might be stuck with it now as a paper weight or see if it kills an additional piece of gear. Not pleased at all. Do not consider I will obtain an additional OCZ item soon after this.

OCZ is a dependable PSU (Power Provide Unit) company. I like the red LED light in this PSU. It's not vibrant. Despite the fact that the 4 tiny blue LEDs on my mother board are vibrant adequate that they can be noticed shining on my wall by way of the red lol.Anyways, If you're searching for a good PSU, OCZ or Corsair is the way to go. They have a trustworthy reputation, and are well worth the expense. Just be positive to watch out for a 550w psu going for ฮ. There's most likely one thing incorrect with it. It's got a red light. Oh wait, that's not a con. There isn't a lot else to say. Just brows the other evaluations right here to make positive this is what you need to have.

Works very nicely, with stable power. Included bag for extra cables constantly a plus, and modular at this power rating fairly neat too. For the past handful of weeks, the power provide started to whine in a incredibly distracting, low pitch, as if a thing is rattling. Absolutely nothing's wrong with it so far, but it's starting to worry me, and I'm wondering how extended it's gonna last if it hasn't even been a years considering that I've had it.... Incredibly great price tag, but I wish create high quality was a bit much better. Manufacturer Response:Hello, from your description, you probably have a fan problem. Had to upgrade my PSU to power a more advanced video card. Not mentioned is that the cables are modular so there is less clutter in my case. It is quieter than any other device with a fan in my Pc as properly. Didn't need to have the Crossfire/SLI help, but with the rebate, the price was appropriate for what I required...which leads me to the Con... Terrible rebate system. I get my card, go to use it and it is declined. I log in to the website and find out that somebody in another state employed it already...nice. Right after 30 minutes on hold with their "Service" department, I uncover out I have to get a poorly written affidavit notorized and mail that back in, but they would send out a new card appropriate away. They failed to mention that the new card would also have only $.12 left on it, so twice I get rejected at the cashier with a bad card. I am rating my general encounter with this OCZ item. In the finish, I overpaid for what I really needed due to the rebate shenanigans. I will also avoid OCZ (they went to the effort to make sure their name was blazened all over the rebate card, but failed to get a trustworthy rebate handler) and keep away from something with a mail in rebate. As a side note, apparently pre-paid rebate card means that they have already paid the rebate out :P Manufacturer Response:Hello, we aplogize for the issue. Please e-mail rebates@ocztechnology.com and consist of your full name, address, item and date and spot of purchase. We will get in touch with the rebate house and straighten this out for you. We will see that all valid rebates are paid, and that you are taken care of. Thank you

Title says it. Only attached cables are a 20Ʋ primary power, a 4-pin and an 8-pin CPU cables. Not quite a few added cables to deal with. None with the PS, but the rebate approach is a hastle. You have to go on-line to fill out and print forms. You nevertheless have to mail in stuff. And the default is a ũ chage to get your rebate in 7 days vs 6 - 8 weeks. Both 4-pin and 8-pin CPU cables? You need 1 or the other, but generally not each. Can't don\'t forget which PS it was, but one I got from NE (and in all probability had good items to say about it in my assessment) had a 4Ʋ configuration, so you didn't have an extra cable to deal with.

really stable, very quiet, extremely reliable, quite powerful - verily I forgot to send in my rebate! WAH! this 'little' PSU is driving an ATI 4870, 8GB of OC'd RAM (G.Skill!), and AMD Phenom II 4-core CPU OC'd to 3.6GHz, a Blu-ray drive, 2x 7200 RPM SATA drives, cooling fans, and a SB Audigy four (old skool baaaby!)

Comment:
Modular, quiet fan with red LED, low-cost, automobile voltage selection, 80 plus, respectable wattage for mid-range Computer, unused cable bag Each CPU power connectors are not modular/removable, somewhat short cables This is my initial modular PSU. Although it has helped to greatly decrease wires in my case, cable length is inadequate for huge full-tower builds. It is a bit of a stretch in my bottom PSU mount mid-tower, but works. The red LED goes well with my CM Storm Scout case. Overall incredibly pleased, would invest in once again.
