OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Screws didn't align too well

Pros: Clean design, as opposed to old PSUs
Comment:
Very nice and clean cable design. I'm used to the old style PSUs, which were a lot uglier. My only problem was that screws didn't align too well with the tower, but maybe that's just my tower.

Cons: None

Pros: QuietSleeved and Modular cablesPrice
Comment:
Picked this up on a weekly sale and am very pleased with it, used to replace a cheaper oem psu in another build. The sleeved cables are nice, even my more expensive Corsair unit doesn't. The price was great even without the rebate.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: None that I've found

Pros: QuietNo LEDsModular cablesRebate process has been vastly improved.
Comment:
I have several other OCZ power supplies and I didn't look too hard when I bought this one. The price was great and the power supply works perfectly. Perhaps I'm a little old-fashioned but I chose this one over other OCZ models that have LEDs.The rebate process appears to have been improved a great deal. Now you enter your name and address and other particulars online and it makes you a form to print and send in. I sent in the form and the bar code and was very quickly updated with a PDF of all my material.

Cons: None yet

Pros: Neat, Tidy, Quiet
Comment:
A good PSU for $42 on special after rebate. Cables are very nice covered in a mesh and you can select  what cables you want to connect to the PSU. It also comes with a cloth pouch for all the extra cables.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: 20+4 cable and 4+4 cables are a little on the short side.

Pros: Quiet enough, good for the price, modular cables
Comment:
Perfect power supply for a mid-level system in a smaller case. Mounted easily enough, doesn't vibrate and wake the dead like my last one. Had to stretch the 20+4 and 4+4 cables a bit to get them in, and in a larger case it could be more of a critical issue. The modular cables are easy to use and while I wouldn't power my Folding a Home super computer with this unit it is more than sufficient for rebuilding a mid-level gaming system with recovered yesteryear parts.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: When mounted at the bottom of the case the 24pin and 4pin motherboard connector cables could be a bit longer.

Pros: Modular power supply, Price
Comment:
Good power supply for the price, and having modular cables allows for a clean setup using only what you need. My one complaint would be that when the power supply is mounted at the bottom of the case the 24pin and the 4pin connector cables ended up being a bit short if trying to route the cable behind the motherboard, but if you're just hooking up the connectors directly it is the perfect length.

One of the cheapest but decent power supplies out there. Backed by OCZ's great warranty , it provides good value. Cable length and connections are a bit lacking though.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: cable length, sleeve quality, somewhat limited connections

Pros: powers 5870, price ($29 after MIR), silent, watts, dual 12V, 3 yr warranty
Comment:
For $29 bucks you cannot go wrong. Excellent warranty and top notch build. The cables are short, the sleeves are not the greatest, and there are some limited connections, HOWEVER, 500watts and dual 12 volt rails that is currently powering an ATI 5870 PCS++ (950mhz) with no problem is remarkable. System is 8gb, x3 720, PCS++ 5870, 2 hard drives, audigy2...bought this as a temporary unit until my Power and Cooling 750watt gets rma'd, although when that arrives, I might just stick with this one a little bit longer.High recommended when on sale. No brainer.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Molex cables end with floppy connectors, SATA cables are tough to fit in tight spots.

Pros: Modular cables (including PCI-express), large fan
Comment:
Good powersupply with decent cables. Even the 6 pin PCI-express are modular. I had a tough time connecting the SATA cables to my 2x2.5" drives since the SATA connector wires are tough to bend. Otherwise it is a decent PSU and is super quiet.

Cons: Cables could be longer

Pros: InexpensiveModularGood Quality
Comment:
I am very impressed with this PSU, I've installed 2 of these now and i'm still surprised at the quality and finish of this product for so cheap. It actually reminds me of my HX850 a lot. The sleeving is done well, the extra cables come in a nice bag for safe keeping. And to top it all off it's been tested by tons of enthusiasts and in a proven performer. 5 stars for this sucker.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: cables could be longer

Pros: quietstabilitypricemodular
Comment:
Great PSU, just wish the cables could be longer. It has a lot of cables to hook up all your internal devices is that in a case where the PSU sits on the bottom (for example my antec three hundred mini) i had to strain the cables a bit to get it all set up nice and tidy. Other then that toally recomment, after rebate you can get these pretty cheap. I got the express rebate option and got my rebate in about 2 weeks.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: - NONE

Pros: - Good Value- Reliable- Semi Modular- Sleeved
Comment:
This is amazing power supply, and being so cheap it it makes it that much sweeter. The sleeved cables are done really well, and the semi modular leads are also very good. One thing I REALLY like, is the last SATA power on the lead, is a left angle, so you don't have to bend your cable back up, it's already facing up.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Not fully modular

Pros: Quiet, modular
Comment:
In short, an excellent power supply for a low to mid-end system. I built an HTPC/workstation recently, and I fell victim to aesthetics: I wanted a gorgeous Silverstone case, and as a result, I didn't have much room inside for the cabling of a normal power supply. My only criticism is I wish this was a bit more modular, I have no need of a PCIe power connector on my i3 build, and being unable to remove it only leads to additional clutter. Going on two and a half months now, still waiting on the rebate.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: good to power your average pc; todays gaming rigs may require more than 500w.

Pros: modular cables, stable, and pretty
Comment:
I bought this for my latest build. Its running strong, and havent had an issue with it. recommended for your average pc, but look for more watts if you plan to add some serious hardware.

great!
Comment:
Modular design is great. Very easy to connect and disconnect hardware when case is too tight a fit. High quality. Had a $25 rebate, so price was ok, though would not have bought this without the rebate. (Full price would have been about $70)

Been using Ultra PSU's for the past several years, I wanted a modular unit but did not want to spend the big bucks. This one seems to fit the bill. Nice quiet fan - clean install using only the cables needed.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons:none really so far

Pros:silentaffordable $40 after mirmodular
Comment:
got this installed by ncix team in a antec 300the case is a bottom mount psu so the power supply was installed the fan facing down, but since there is only 1/2 inch clearance, i was not very confident it would be enough for the air flow,so i turned it upside down, with the fan facing upthe psu in itself is good, i don't find it noisy, and it seems to be reliable from what i read being modular is a plus
