Cons:Attaching the bloody fan after installing the it

Pros:Low TempsLight
Comment:
I have to say this is an awesome product. Installaton was mostly a breeze with the exception of putting the fan on after the heatsink is on the motherboard. I had to do it afterwards because of my fat fingers though. Using this with Arctic Silver 5 it has dropped my Q6600 load temps to 40c at 3.0Ghz. The Intel heatsink hit 70c while using the Intel Burn Test. I also did not use the fan that came with it. I am using a Silverstone FM123 as it pushes for air and has a high static pressure. If the fan installation was easier it would get a 5/5.

Cons:hard to install, took 5 times

Pros:cool temps, 29C (in bios) for 3.8ghz
Comment:
Great heat sink, had to install it 5 times though cause i couldnt get the screws it.. Tip for anyone whose installing. Install without the fan first. Have pliers ready for turning the back end screws, my hands were to big and i dont have a L shaped philips screw driver.

Cons:- None at this price

Pros:- Cooling- Price- Warranty
Comment:
The performance you get from this cooler is amazing. What's more amazing is the price. I can't see how anybody would buy a True 120 over this cooler, considering it does better in many reviews. At half the price and the same or better performance, it's a no brainer.

Cons:May have problem mounting 2 fans. (push-pull)Fan isn't completely silent.

Pros:Cooling performance.HDT.Not too heavy.
Comment:
Bought this for an e5200 and it was able to keep things cool even with a low RPM 120mm fan. I found that the fan wasn't completely silent, so some might want to replace the fan with something quieter if building a silent PC. Would also suggest either to buy a bolt thru kit to mount this heatsink onto the motherboard or at least replace the stock push-pins with some nuts and bolts to increase the pressure placed on the contact between the heatsink and CPU. Other than that, you really can't go wrong with this cooler.

Cons:Fan a little hard to install on the heat sink.

Pros:Quite and cools great.

Installed it on a new E8400 and it is silent at idle, keeps a 3.6Ghz overclock around 40C under load.

Cons:Tool-less install for LGA 775

Pros:PriceCools AmazinglyLook
Comment:
This is an incredible heatsink for price and performance. If you look i reviews for this, you'll see that I'm not lying. Price matched and got it for even cheaper! I bought a bolt-through kit because it only has a tool-less install for LGA 775's and it's just peace of mind knowing it is properly secured. Also installed Noctua P-12 Fan instead of the stock one. So it's extremely quiet. For the price, you can't go wrong and it cools just as good or even better than more expensive heatsinks.

Cons:none

Pros:quitestock fan pull/pushes a decent amount of airgreat cooling performancebetter than the highend heatsinks like the Ultra 120 etc..
Comment:
This is a great heatsink, it runs fairly silent and cools my cpu pretty good. It dropped my temps down 8o c. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap heatsink that performs like a champ.

Cons:- It might be big for some cases but not for mine, It was slightly awkward to install but did fit with a lot of room

Pros:- Quite- Blows a lot of air- Efficient- Looks stunning inside the case
Comment:
The look of the heatsink is really nice and is probably the center of attention in my case (and I have a 9800GX2!). My motherboard is the EVGA 780i and there was no problems installing. Great cooling for a cheap price. Don't quote me on it but I think it cooled my CPU (Q6700 Quad core) by at least 15 degrees Celsius from the stock fan. Overall great quality. Cons:poor push-pin mounting

Pros:Great priceTop performing CPU coolerComes with a fan
Comment:
This is one of the best CPU coolers on the market bar none. When you factor in the fact that it's also one of the cheapest aftermarket CPU coolers you can buy there is little room for the competition. Just buy it and you'll be happy but I'd recommend getting a backplate bolt-thru kit to secure this as the push-pin attachment isn't very secure.

Cons:push pin systemfan doesnt seem as good as higher quality onescheap TIM (altho i used MX-2)

Pros:cheap (30bucks after PM)HDT heatsinksimple installation (with stock mounting)
Comment:
good product overall but should give option for a backplate mounting system because it provides more secure mounting. Also, I replaced the fan with a Scythe S-Flex for more cfm and it is more quiterwould buy again

Cons:I am not a fan of push pin mounting

Pros:Performance, Quality
Comment:
After reading reviews, I purchased this cooler. I opted for using Nuctua fan instead of stock, for performance and quietness, and used base plate for mounting for better contact. Result is a great performing cooler, keeps my overclocked cores at 47-49 under load measured by realtemp. I was able to use fan that came with cooler as an additional case fan, so there was no loss of investment. Great product, highly recommended.

Cons:Stupid push pins, hate them. dont do like me buy some mounting hardware.

Pros:Great cpu heat sink, one of the 2 best on the market right now
Comment:
This is one of the top notch cpu heat sink out there. Comes with a good silenced fan and the mounting hardware for the fan is really good. I ha a True befor, nad had way more problem mounting the fan. So. other than puspins being a pain, this is a top noth cpu heatsink and not to expensive. Overall, if you need a cpu heat sink, go and buy this one !

Pros:Relatively inexpensive, comes with fan, great cooling performance
Comment:
Overall a very nice cooler for the price. Keeps my OC'd E8400 (3.825 at 1.232 V) at ~38-39C idle. Only downside would be the stock mounting system so I'd recommend getting a bolt-thru kit along with this to improve mounting pressure.

Cons:Size

Pros:Performance
Comment:
Installation was just typical pushpin method, nice and ez.Size wise, it's pretty damn big, that there's a very little room left to the other side of the roomy CM 690 case.Coupled up with OCed E8500, CPU temp never goes above 40C.Amazing.Still got a room to improve by replacing the included fan with the better one.For the price/performance ratio, unbeatable product.

Cons:AM2 mounting is good but not greatWon't work with Thermalright bolt through kit

Pros:Easy InstallationVery good tempsQuietAllowed for great Overclocking
Comment:
Bought this for a AMD X2 5000+. Works great. Very easy installation and your ready to go as quick as with the stock HSF excepting _way_ better temps. Best get some Artic Silver MX-2 while your at it.Mounts as well as it can I guess for the base AM2 socket. I bought the Thermalright AM2 Bolt Through Kit hopeing it would work but it doesn', the heat pipes are in the way. No big deal, I just don't know how much I'd trust it standing up, i feel like the weight of it would pull it off the top a little bit. I could be completly wrong though. For the sake if it anyways I've left thta computer laying flat instead of standing up.Would love this if it had it's own bolt through kit that worked. Either way it's a great HSF, way better temps than stock, easy installation for noobs (don't have to remove Motherboard, yay!), and quiet too.

Cons:Push Pins

Pros:Excellent designPush Pins
Comment:
Yes, the push pins are both the strength and weakness. As a strength you can install this HS without removing the motherboard from the case. The weakness is that a bolt through kit will give you a much better mechanical connection, therefore better thermal transfer. The fan installation is a bit fun, I found it better to put the little rubber things on the fan first, then put the fan on the HS.Great product!

Cons:Instructions for Fan to HS - sucksBig - Overlaps onto Gigabyte 790GX RAM position

Pros:Keeps processor cool - 5000+BE d 3.2ghz around 30CLight (looks heavier than what it is)Great Price
Comment:
Bought this for a temporary 5000+BE install. So far, it is doing it's job and keeping it cool d 3.2Ghz.I have a Cosmos 1000 so size isn't anywhere near a factor for that.Size is a problem with Gigabyte 790GX board and Mushkin Redline RAM - overlaps on RAM position and need to install RAM before Vendatta + only about .5cm of space between the top of RAM and bottom of Vendetta. All in all tho, it is living up to my expectations.

the reviews state it as being one of the best coolers, and perhaps my expectations were too high, but this doesn't seem to be much, if at all, better than my Tuniq Tower. for the price, however, it is definitely quite good.

Pros:Works wellEasy to install
Comment:
Bought this to cool down my q9550. Load temps dropped by ~15 degrees in combination with Noctua NF-P12 and MX-2. Definitely one of the best heat sink/fan combos. I strongly suggest getting the bolt thru kit with it, it makes installation really easy.

Cons:Can be tricky to install

Pros:Dropped temps from~45(idle) - 60 (Load) to 33 (idle) - 42 (LOAD) Intel E8500
Comment:
Fan was trciky to install, what i did was push the grommets into the fan hools and then stretched them onto the fins - it didn't come out perfect (the bottom left grommet didn't go onto the fin i want it to) but its no big deal.I was rebuilding my system so I installed it out side thwe box. If you do the cardboard box NCIX shipped it in, cut it down so that there are two layers and then cut a square hole in the box where the base of pushpins would come out. Then it is easy as pie. Do NOT install with the mobo on a completely flat surface or you main damage the retention pins. Sorry I don't have any advice regarding installing it while it is in the case.I am extremely happy with this cooler.
