looks fantastic, converts 1 molex connection to two SATA. Cheaply constructed, the wires came loose from the molex pins when I attempted to plug it in. I sent in for an RMa, I have no doubt Newegg will make it correct.

installed it no troubles. has all the voltages needed for complete SATA features. 3.three, 5 and 12v feeds was not compatible with my Cyborg Wife 6000 other than the wife point, its rock strong.

These function good. The added advantage of the metal retaining clips on the SATA end implies that your cable won't wiggle loose and result in hardware challenges. None. I bought a couple of of these to replace ones with out retaining clips. One particular drive's cable had come loose and caused intermittent power difficulties and eventually a technique crash. But these adapters as affordable insurance coverage.

Good cord. Did what it was created to do. Not genuinely a whole lot of stuff to say about it. It was a small brief and i had to move my hard drive around to get it to attain. As extended as it is a quick connection it is the tight thing for the proper job.

It worked. It's fused for circuit protection. Although it splits 1 energy connector into two SATA power connectors, they are so short that unless the two devices are correct next to each other, they will under no circumstances attain.

Appears nice. Not terribly lengthy, but a lot of area for side by side HDDs or optical drives. I bought this just in-case the energy provide that came with my case didnt have sufficient SATA energy connectors. I ended up not needing it. For ū, I didnt have to worry about being stuck with a not-functioning machine for a week, so it was entirely worth it.

I have a few molex to SATA power connectors that came with tough drives that I purchased and most of them do not have the orange Ʊ.3v wire that this one does, I think beneath that small black tape on the orange wire is some resistors to get the voltage drop required to go from red MOLEX wire that is at Ƴv. Whilst you don't want the Ʊ.3v wire, it is good that this product has it. Also I like the reality that there is two outputs. Some of the bare wire was not entirely covered by the tape on the orange wire, absolutely nothing a little electrical tape can't fix. Try to purchase it when you get another item because shipping and handling is substantial.

Excellent construction, performs nicely. Wasn't free of charge... It performs excellent. Upgrading components but ran out of SATA energy connections. This cable does the job.

I got it to operate. The pins in the Molex connector didn't fit adequately, and the pins had been pointing helter skelter in all directions. I was in a position to get the molex mated to one of my PCs power connector, and all functioned OK. No intermittents. OKGEAR, look at the pins your working with on the Molex. They aren't fitting effectively.

Functions and does what it says. none If you have a older psu with 1 or less sata connectors and want to power your sata then this is a amazing acquire. I got one for a diy computer and it has been functioning fantastic.

Cheap. Operates like a charm. Gives you two SATA energy plugs from just 1 Molex. Each SATA plugs have a nice little locking mechanism so they don't unplug when you're messing around inside the case. Doesn't replicate itself. Not useful for zapping zombies. Zombies! Run for your lives!

Wonderful operates Has the annoying lock system I bought these thinking that they did not have the annoying lock function on them because it was not in the title. I was wrong. However if you obtain them and do not want the lock it is not hard to take the locks off you just have to cautiously break some plastic that is why I gave it a 3 star.
