NONE DOA DOA, and from looking at other reviews, this appears common for this brand, I have usually used Kingston or Corsair memory withour complications, I suppose I really should have read the testimonials just before acquiring. no pros on my side actually... this ram randomly produced my lenovo Thinkpad X61s (which is, by the way, not the average laptop...) crashedI truly lost my time trying to solve the problem, I first thought the HDD was faulty, but no, Ubuntu memtest86+ does not lie : operating the test the pc freezes in the middle of the test, and it is defective even when it is the only ram inserted in the laptop properly I suppose I ought to not have attempted a less costly RAM... The stick was superb value for capacity and arrived in fantastic working order. Memtested it on day one particular and it was properly below the average quantity of errors I usually see. It didn't fry my mobo. Sitck arrived DOA, which takes place, but... Works on eeePC T91 MT none Windows7 nonetheless mentioned 1G ram initially, I ran the windows memory test and it nevertheless said 1G, then looked around in the BIOS devoid of transforming something and the other gig showed up. Not genuinely positive what was going on there, but it functions now.

effortless set up, worked fine Not the fault of the producer or Newegg, but this wouldn't operate in 2GHz Core Duo Macbook mainly because the machine has a physical limit of 2GB and I already have a 1GB chip installed. Installed in my wife's 2 GHz core duo macbook in beneath 5 minutes, but the factor wouldn't boot if I left that and the current 1GB chip installed at the same time. Googled it, and discovered that the machine has a limit of 2GB so I'm returning this chip and acquiring a 2nd 1GB chip as a replacement. Newegg made the return super straightforward.
