Installed in two ASUS EEE Computer's, each ran a lot more quickly with WinXP/Win7 on the initial run soon after installing. Simple to operate with. None. Excellent organization (Patriot), excellent good quality inexpensive RAM, you don't require heatspreaders and such fancy things.

see below see below I tried putting this module in a Gateway LT Series LT2106u Intel Atom N450 ten.1" Netbook. Machine would not POST or display any image what-so-ever. Place the old stick back in, booted up perfectly.Not confident if the difficulty lies in the machine or the module, just figured I'd post this so men and women know that if you buy this stick, and you have one of the LT series Netbooks, there's a good likelihood it will NOT work.Newegg RMA, no queries asked, took no a lot more than a few minutes, had my refund in my account by the finish of the week.

Popped it in, fired it up, immediately tripled my RAM with no concerns. It doesn't jump into the SODIMM slot by itself. NC6400 laptop now flies with Windows 7 - 32 bit.

Intel Atom CPU N270 - Operates in Acer AOD150-1920 Netbook - Recognized instantly! The laptop or computer begins up and shuts down more rapidly :) kidding there are none it's RAM, if it's compatible, it speeds your technique :) Many Memory configuration tools led me to PC2-4200 for the model Netbook i installed this in, soon after opening it i found factory installed PC2-5300. Decent price, works. Great brand name. Does exactly what they say it will. Could be quicker/bigger/cheaper blah blah blah but it's not. It is what it is. Came out of the box, and into my 1012 in about 30 seconds. Started right up, program recognized it, no troubles. Would acquire again.

I bought this memory to upgrade a 2008 MacBook. I bought two sticks, which initially did not perform - soon after testing, I found that one of the two sticks was defective, even though the other worked perfectly. I named Newegg customer service and in six minutes had received my RMA number, UPS return label, and was carried out. It's a sensitive piece of electronics - it can fail, from time to time for who-knows-what cause. I occurred to get 1 that failed. I *heart* Newegg.

Cost was correct. Works as advertised. Have bought/used Patriot a lot more than the years, never had any difficulty. Very good quality manage. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. If I did, I would. I installed this in an Acer Aspire 1 AO751h-1948 Netbook, the 1 with the 11.6" display. I had previously switched the stock OS from Windows xp to Windows 7 Pro. Going from 1GB to 2GB makes a nice distinction, the little machine freezes no a lot more. Got the netbook new at a supermarket, for 趚.
