Can't beat this card for the dollars. You just can't. And it only desires 1 6-pin energy connector. None. Why spend additional for the same thing?

For the cost point, it's difficult to beat this card's overall performance. Would really struggle to find a game that this point couldn't manage on Ultra/Very high settings. Some have mentioned the fan is a tiny loud, even though I have not heard it since installing :) NONE! - (Card is a small extended, so be positive you have a case it fits in). Quite great card for the price point. Read a review of someone saying you needed an OS to set up the card? DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS Particular person!!! Just a ridiculous statement. Card installs fine, didn't have any problems... setup on a fresh install on an ASUS MB without ANY problems. Naturally, if no one else is reporting the problem, it's a user error, not a PowerColor or ATI problem. I Highly Suggest THIS CARD (this is the 3rd PowerColor card I've owned... all have been wonderful).

Appears to do all I require, crysis on high settings runs wonderful. I purchased a price range athlon 2 x2 260 regor, and the bottleneck is the processor. nothing comes to mind. I program on upgrading my cpu to a different amd quad will Probably make a giant difference. I downloaded amd's most current driver, so not confident about the drivers on the disk didnt use them.

Got it for a wonderful price. The card handles all my gaming requirements at 1920 x 1080 4x aa with high settings. I did not will need something that effective mainly because I do not play initial 1 shooters which are the most graphic heavy load games. Also I read a lot of great things about Powercolor's customer service. Absolutely nothing however. If anything my electric bill may well see a slight increase lol. I was debating if I ought to get this one particular or the pcs version but due to the fact I don't overclock it didn't make significantly sense.

Games where fantastic when it ran. Card kept shutting down my system. Browsing the internet or playing games I could only get ten minutes of time just before it would shut it down. Yes I have the newest bios on my mb and downloaded the newest drivers for the card and have a power provide much more then capable of handling almost everything thrown its way. I use to really like ATI cards but lately I haven't had any luck with them so I guess back to Nvidia RMA'd the card the incredibly subsequent day and ordered the GTX 470. Hopefully the Nvidia doesn't give me any difficulties.*Disclaimer* Any misspellings or incoherent sentences are purely the keyboards fault Manufacturer Response:Inform-tale sign of either a faulty power provide, or basically a power provide that isn't powerful enough. For the former, you have to preserve in thoughts that just due to the fact your computer is turning on, that doesn't mean your PSU is working the way it need to. The initially symptom of a failing or weak power supply is technique shut downs in the middle of heavy load scenarios. Either way, feel totally free to e-mail me if you have any other questions relating to the problems you had been possessing. hugo@powercolor.com, thanks.-Hugo

Supports up to three monitors and works well with HD. Fan functions great, haven't had any heating problems. Every thing runs on ultra from wow to SC2. Of course New Vegas tends to make it a lil' jittery on maximum settings. None so far other then I dislike the ATI catalyst interface for setting up your gaming/monitor. Very suggest. Operates fantastic. Major card so make confident the dimensions fit your case/mobo so you wont have to disconnect any wires or replace a mobo.

Bought the moment it was obtainable on newegg, received it a handful of days later and installed it. Seemed to operate, drivers installed fine, was in a position to use it in Windows 7 64bit with no hassle. - Which was about all it was able to be utilised with. Whenever I loaded up a game the screen would tilt off to the side and distort, not precisely an overheating dilemma since there was no actual artifacts on the screen. When I loaded up Furmark the screen instantaneously went green and out of synced my monitor so I had to challenging reboot, fundamentally whenever I really used the hardware intensively it'd distort the screen and out of sync the video, meaning I'd have to tough reboot. I tested this card on three diverse computers all getting the similar result. it was a gaming GPU that could not game.Returned to newegg. Manufacturer Response:Sorry for the complications you ran into. We haven't had very a lot of issues with this precise model card so it's in all probability protected to assume that you received a faulty a single. Either way, if you continue to have issues with the replacement feel free of charge to get in touch with me and I'll be more than prepared to enable you out in trouble to resolve the difficulty. Lives up to the critiques I read for this card. It is a big step up from my aging EVGA 8600. I am a gamer on a price range and this card fit in effectively and performs wonderful for less than 赨. No problems with the ATI drivers and it fit nicely in my Gigabyte MB. There are no extras with this card. I did know this just before ordering it though so can't decuct an egg. Keeping my fingers crossed, I've only had it a week.

I can literally play anything I wants on Ultra settings! I have spent more than $1000 in Steam Games it blows through everything i through at it. It can sometimes get hot, CCC gives you a good idea of what the temps are and you can adjust the fan speeds which can be helpful. I'v had it for almost a year now at least.. Overall great price as well and great product! Thanks NCIX.

Large improvement over my HD3850 AGP.Runs nicely with MSI Afterburner.GPU is only applied at 50-70% in UT3 in 2048x1152 max good quality. Fan can be quite noisy at high speed, but that is where MSI afterburner helps. But I plan to put an HR-03 GT on it. I'm now used to have a silent computer because about 2 years and I don't want to go back. Now the noisiest point in my computer is the fan on the video card. I reduced the speed in 2D and the temperature is kept at 55 degrees C. I hope it won't go also high through the summer. But I strategy to put a Thermalright HR-03 GT (from my HD3850) on it, it will probably drop the temperature about 20 degrees and it will be passive in 2D.I don't play current games, I got UT3, WOW and LOTR and the GPU just have all the power required. Perhaps in much more current games I would not have enough power to play with max good quality in 2048x1152, but I don't have one yet. So the HD6850 was the finest point to get at this price point.

PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 AX6850 1GBD5-DH Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:Long card, thick shroud.

Pros:Affordable graphics solution.Backwards comparable with older board.Overclock-able
Comment:
Luckily my case has a modular design, pulled the hard drive module out so the card could fit. Stuck hard drives in a static area. Card length & shroud thickness covered 2 sata connections on the motherboard. Limited now to 2 sata connectors. This is just bad luck or poor motherboard design. Ncix sells affordable 3.5" drive enclosures, so my sata storage drive can be used, via usb 2.0.This card was the single biggest improvement for my older core 2 duo (e5200). Took a gamble using it on an older 755 motherboard with pci-e 1.1 (x16), booted no problem & works like a charm! Can play battlefield 3 on medium & multiple instances of mmo's play soo well. overclocking is limited, but there. Exceptional value.
