PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 AX6850 1GBD5-DH Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:Runs pretty hot. Not the best 6850 out there. Many other versions of the 6850 are better made and run cooler and/or quieter (mostly due to better cooling). The HIS ICEQ X Turbo is currently on sale for the same price, and at the same price is definitely superior to this one. Power consumption is best in its performance category (for now), but there are other cards out there that offer considerably better speed per power consumption. GTX 560's can be found for only 20 dollars more (if you're lucky), and are arguably better performers for the money. The sticker started peeling off after only a few months (I don't like tacky looking stickers on my fan cowling anyway).

Pros:Excellent for serious gamers who want to minimize cost. Great price to performance ratio. Faster and especially better at running high resolutions than the slightly cheaper 6770's. This can sometimes be found for cheaper than other 6850's. Relatively good power consumption.I was able to get this with two free game coupons. It was an amazing and unbeatable deal at the time. I don't even want to say what games they were because I'm afraid you'd feel jealous.
Comment:
A very good value card, but many other versions of the 6850 are slightly better made and run cooler and/or quieter (mostly due to better cooling). The HIS ICEQ X Turbo is currently on sale for the same price, and at the same price is definitely superior to this one. Some Nvidia cards are about as good a value (which is better depends on which features you prefer, like better power consumption).

PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 AX6850 1GBD5-DH Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:- Only one really, the fan is extremely noisy

Pros:- Price (good value for the buck)- Seems very stable (so far)- No big problems with drivers (so far)
Comment:
It has been a long time since I owned a Radeon based graphics card. I had gotten tired of the endless problems with nVidia drivers, blue screens, overheating in card after nVidia card so I decided to try Radeon again. I am not disappointed seems like this one can run at high settings with only minor hiccups. I have only had 2 blue screens since installing this card, one occurred upon first installation reboot and one shortly after. Since updating drivers no more blue screens in Windows 7 64 bit. So I am hoping this trend continues. The only negative with this is at times the fan is extremely loud, probably the loudest video card I have ever owned. So bad that I am considering changing it out via RMA, I haven't checked into this yet. I have to put headphones on and turn up the volume it is that loud. I don't know if it is supposed to be that loud. It sounds like a normal fan sound but just extremely loud. At idle it is acceptable but once a game is started the RPM cranks up and it ready to take off.On the sound problem I have to downgrade my rating to 2 star, this level of noise is unacceptable, otherwise this card would have gotten a 4 out of 5, maybe even 5 out of 5.

Wonderful card, with an great cost. This factor can take something I can throw at it. Crysis two on Hardcore, Rift on Ultra(with additional sliders turned up for kicks), Metro 2033 with every little thing turned all the way up, and DX11 functions turned on....the list goes on and on.I'm replaying games I haven't touched in more than a year, just to encounter them to their fullest.Upgraded from an 8800 GTS, which ran almost everything just fine...I just needed a lot more memory, and to be prepared for up and coming games. Do yourself a favor, and purchase this card. It's a beast, and I have no heat troubles whatsoever. None. At all. Newegg is the greatest!

Smaller size. DX11 help, quiet but then the fan is running 50% of speed. On the initially go round installing XP Pro received a signal out of range error. On the second go round it lasted about 29 hours then for no apparent cause, while using the Computer I received a signal out of range error. So the three stars for a neutral rating. I am returning it for a refund. This is the initially ATI card I have purchased in more than 15 years. It was running good. It was installed in an ASRock 890FX with a Phenom II 965BE Thermaltake 850W P/S. Nothing was o/c. I am not sure why the out of range errors. I haven't had any problems prior with my LG W2252TQ monitor and Nvidia cards. I rebooted to safemode, uninstalled, driver sweep, rebooted, re-installed. Out of range error on the first reboot soon after re-installing 10.10b. It took yet another five tries just before it would boot commonly. Possibly its a driver concern with XP Pro. The Pc is now operating a 9800GTX until I can replace this card. I think I will go EVGA. I have had extremely very good luck with their cards more than the years.

Pros:Great performance for the priceGood performing low noise cooler
Comment:
Been running this card for almost a year now. Plays all my games nice and smooth with ultra settings at 1920x1080. Decided to pick up another during boxing week for a new build and future crossfire. Got it for only $105 after discount and MIR. Ridiculous price for the performance you'll get. It also runs nice and quiet and doesn't use up all too much power which is icing on the cake. Would've been nice if it came with some accessories like a crossfire bridge or a dvi>vga adapter but I guess that would be asking for too much since it's much cheaper than others. Will not deduct a star for that since I came in knowing this beforehand.

Comment:
This card is sweet! Only need 1 PCIe connector, runs quiet and rocks on Crysis! Not a 6950 hacked to 6970. I'm acquiring 42fps in GPU demo Crysis, with a i7 2600k at stock settings, 8GB of Muskin 1333 on a ASUS Sabertooth P67 (Bought on Sunday just before recall on Monday...) All settings are on Really High at 1920x1080 with 8xAA. Quite satisfied, as long as the P67 sata holds out...

Pros:Very very cheap

The card is a standard 6850 at stock clock speed. You are paying for what you get though, so there are almost no extras included in the box. Be prepared to buy a seperate crossfire bridge if you plan on crossfiring them.

Pros:Great looking Video Card, easy too install, nice graphics and great test results. Very easy to O.C.

O.C. is very easy, but when you crank up the fan speed it is extremely load. Other than that its a decent Video Card for the price.

The card worked Real properly for the couple of hours it worked. The card quit working and would not do anything but spin its fan soon after a few hours of use.RMAed it and the new 1 is already on its way back.Hopefully the new 1 will have much more longevity in it. The lower finish 6 series cards like these could be a touch a lot more high-priced than they ought to be marketplace wide. Not neweggs fault its market driven. Manufacturer Response:I apologize for the inconvenience. How is the replacement running? It's quite peculiar for a card to die just hours following being installed, and I'm hoping one thing in your technique isn't causing the problem. If you demand further technical support really feel no cost to e-mail me at hugo@powercolor.com, thanks.-Hugo

Superb Video Card. Installed without a issue. I'm not a difficult-core gamer, but it has run something I've thrown at it on max settings without breaking a sweat! (Killing Floor, Halo, Crysis, Left four Dead, Darksiders, and R6: LV2) Considering that I got the card, it has only crashed once. I think about it an isolated incident. Installation went fine, runs cool and quiet. Installed latest drivers from ATI website, no issues so far. Replacing an nVidia 9800GT and this card is way better (of course it's much newer as well), especially in terms of supporting multiple displays. So far pretty impressed with it, first ATI video card I've used since about 2004.

Cons:-crossfire on causes shutters in mw3

Pros:-requires only 1 6pin connector -cheaper than its competition -overclocks well-small
Comment:
bought two of these in crossfire to replace a 6850 2gb card. so far have both cards overclocked and running good, i get a bit better performance than my 6950 so the scaling seems to be running fine. only problem so far is not really with the cards themselves but with ati drivers, whenever i activate mutligpu in mw3 it shutters to a point where the game is unplayable and the only solution is to disable crossfire, and yes i am running the latest drivers. besides that i would recommend getting two of these as a cheaper solution to a 6970 or gtx 570-580.
