The keys that perform feel great and the keyboard looks remarkable. Backlight is bright and typing on it feels wonderful. About ten of the keys on my keyboard don't click. At first I was very skeptical about buying Razer in general, but after getting this keyboard, I feel like I have traveled back in time, in a good way, totally love the keyboard. the late 80's and early 90's keyboards are back in style. Key layout is perfect, and as you will type on this keyboard, you will fall in love with it.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I'm glad I made the choice of getting this one. Typing on it can take some time to get used to, but once you get used to it, you will always find it quite addicting to type from now on, well atleast for me. The lights are a good touch, you can adjust the brightness of it aswell, the macros on the left hand side are handy and the multimedia keys are a plus. A few things that i don't like about this one is the fact that it is glossy, it's a fingerprint magnet. The audio/USB ports are located on the right and if you have you're mouse close and you're trying to move your cursor to the left while playing a game, it will get in your way. One minor inconvenience for me is the caps lock is different from all the keyboards, this one doesn't have a little gap in between the caps lock and the "A".

I have been looking for a mechanical keyboard lately and decided on the blackwidow. I do not regret my decision by any means. Typing on this keyboard is a dream and the rubber finish on the keys is a nice touch. My only real complain with this board is the gloss finish.

This is an amazing gaming keyboard. The firmware is really good and the macro capabilities on this keyboard are great, setting macros is pretty easy to do, and the on-the-fly macro feature is quite easy to good. As always you can switch between various profiles, just by launching a game or attaching the profile to an .exe. The keyboard is pretty solid, the cables are robust and durable, they are not flimsy like in other keyboards, this keyboard while heavy (mechanical ofc) is still resistant. DEL is quite nice, the 4 DEL profiles are quite nice as well, although at times they seem to illuminate a tad too much but it is still awesome if you like to play with the lights off. Personally I love the sound of this keyboard, if you do not there is a new version of this keyboard that doesnt sound like a mechanical keyboard but like a membrane keyboard. This is quite a good purchase and I would do it again anytime.

the keys are lit up really bright. Cant alter color of the leds, stuck with blue. The keys are noisy, WAY too noisy!!!! Some of the keys with dual purpose are not lit. It could have USB ports for headphone and mic perhaps? Genuinely not worth 130 bucks! Get some thing less costly if you anticipate a lot out of this cuz its not all that great.

I like the nice clicking sound it provides me when i form, the backlight is wonderful and pretty bright with three settings. Overall i enjoy this keyboard and would suggest it. The only factor that caused it to lose a egg, the 1st one i received was 1 of the defective ones where the spacebar molding was too big and it hit the R alt button each and every time i spaces so i had to RMA it.

The quality of the keyboard is very good. The clicking sound is not as loud as I thought; however, it could be annoying for your very close neighbors (mostly in the same room). It is absolutely a very good keyboard for gaming and typing.It would be better if it comes with a palm rest. The glassy surface make the keyboard a fingerprint and ash collector; meanwhile, it is not good for bringing around.In the end, it is an absolutely good gaming keyboard.

This is a very satisfying keyboard to type on. I really would recommend this if you are on your computer a lot and do a lot of heavy typing or gaming: it is ergonomic and well designed, the keys are spaced nicely.Only thing that annoys me is the macro keys on the left can sometimes get in the way (I misplace my hand)

Continuing from my other post, I also like the USB port on the side and the face that it is a powered USB port. I have my iPhone dock plugged into it so now I don't have to reeeeaaaccccchhh to put my phone on the dock. The keys seem to be a small tighter together than most other keyboards. In no way got anything close to what they described. I got the kyeboard and the Messenger Bag. My final believed is shipping.About here we just got Snow. Not key snow, only four inches (I've lived in NY, I know snow). I also take place to live on one of the steepest hills in my neighborhood. I was doubtful UPS would be able to deliver the package due to the snow and gradient of my street. I upgraded from the first gen of the G15. Wow what an upgrade , who really cares about the LCD,it was useless.This keyboard is all about quality,it weights about 2.5 times that of the G15,the keys are amazing ,a little loud but not too much.I am very happy with this purchase and its highly recommended.Oh no issues with stuck keys or burnt out back lighting.

Very solid mechanical keyboard. I've already managed to spill a good amount of Coke inside of it and after a good cleaning it was back to normal. I love the clicky key sounds, much better than that of the Steelseries 7G or 6GV2 in my opinion, not that that actually matters of course. The biggest problem I have with this keyboard is that it's glossy. It leaves fingerprints EVERYWHERE!! I find myself cleaning it on a regular basis, but then again because it's glossy the clean-up is a breeze.

Got this keyboard to replace my Logitech G110. The keys use cherry blue switches which have a nice satisfying click when pressed. Macro keys work great and it has a standard keyboard layout (ie no giant enter key with backslash key in a weird place) which is a big plus for me. USB and audio ports are on the right hand side so cables could get in the way of using the mouse. I'm still curious as to why there is no wrist rest included. Not a huge deal as I can work around it. Most other gaming keyboards come with one including other Razer keyboards so why not this one?Overall this is a great keyboard.
