ShapeAdjustable thumb buttonsWeightAlso, I do like the glow, because it occurs to match my case lighting. Not large, but it's the tiny points from time to time. Placement of middle buttons. Granted, I hardly ever use these, but when I do, I really feel like they're placed a couple of millimeters as well far back. Part of this is since I have long fingers, and like I stated, I don't use them so significantly. Not massive, but somethingLike other people have stated, the cursor will move about with z-axis motion, but I come across this to be somewhat unimportant. See other thoughts. The Razer drivers are admittedly pretty user-unfriendly. I had no difficulty putting in them, but I discovered the settings program rather chunky. Instead of writing macros thru the Razer driver, I just utilised AutoHotKey, which I very advise if you want to seriously macro a mouse or a keyboardFinal mention. There are gaps about the mouse feet exactly where they fit into the bottom of the mouse, and these permit dust bunnies to type under the mouse and detract from efficiency. Not major ones, but noticeable as soon as you flip the mouse over following making use of it for a even though. I've heard some individuals complain about the weight of this mouse, but personally, I consider that it's just correct. After you get applied to the weight combined with the sensitivity, it operates like a charm. I purchased it mainly for gaming purposes, and it performs excellent for everything I wanted. In terms of the z-axis movement, I have hardly lifted this mouse up due to the fact I bought it. I coupled it with the Razer Destructor pad, and it works excellent. Contemplating the DPI available with this mouse, it seems entirely far-fetched that I would ever genuinely need to choose it up whilst in use. Constructing off of that, this mouse works drastically better on a efficiency mouse pad. I used it at a close friends residence was, and was disappointed with overall performance then, but it appears to me that if you want a mouse this fantastic, you must commit the additional ฮ-40 for a very good mousepad.Last mention. Many folks have talked about sweating with prolonged use, but I come across that I sweat less the more I use it. Just saying.

Purchased mine from BB. I came from a Logitech G5 then to a G9x. This mouse is a lot much better than the G9x! It fits to your hand completely and is super comfy. On the fly sensitivity is a ought to when gaming in fps and this mouse has 5 settings. 񣁠dpi max) I'd rather use a razor than a logitech now. None Obtain from newegg a lot more affordable and you won't regret it. I was a logitech fanboy but I am no far more.

-Can turn mouse wheel and the mouse lights off-adjustable dpi by way of drivers-macro buttons are beneficial for gaming/microphone-a lot of buttons readily available-customizable buttons -the location where you place your pinky and thumb feels wet.-difficult to brush off dust off mouse-the transition from a balled mouse to a laser mouse is challenging to get use to-Razer drivers stopped working soon after editing macros and their technical help is unresponsive. Razer technical assistance takes a long time for a response. I only get 1 e-mail from them every single week and each response doesn't resolve the difficulty.

Ergonomic feel. A lot of programmable buttons. Potential to modify DPI on the spot. Good DPI. Incredibly accurate. High high quality braided cord. good make quality. Only for proper handed customers (not a con for me, but could be for the lefties of the planet) I researched gaming mice for about two months before deciding on the Imperator. I chose the mouse based on critiques from Newegg, and from tech sites and blogs. The functions were spot on for what I was looking for, and the construct good quality of the mouse is remarkable. There are plenty of buttons that I can plan for just about something I want which is great for FPS games. If you are looking for a gaming mouse with plenty of functions and great make top quality, you can not go incorrect with a Razer!

Precision, shape, weight, ease of adjustments, refinement. This mouse boils down every little thing essential and does it all right. The description is also accurate that it dual-functions as ergonomic and as an "active hand stance" mouse. My wife uses it the traditional way, and the elongated mouse surface and general shape permits me to use it in an active stance for gaming/precision. They maybe could have had far more rubberization in the side thumb grooves. Far more of a preference than a con, still feels excellent. Once I switched from logitech mice, I by no means came back. I nevertheless have to use them on my freinds' computers and at perform, but Razer really knows what they are performing. I upgraded from a Razer Diamondback to this.I have also owned/regularly use logitech G5ǝ and microsoft mice.

-Fairly huge mouse, fits my hand nicely.-Tracks extreamley properly even at high DPI. My previous mouse I located tricky to manage even at 3200. This one has no trouble.-A lot of buttons, but that's what a keyboard is for.-Wheel has defined clicks for correct weapon switching if you play FPS. -Not a really heavy mouse, but that may well be a pro for most people today.-Installation of drivers calls for a second mouse, or above average know-how of keyboard functions. Great mouse so far. A small pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

-Incredibly precise. I play Poor Firm 2 and Call of Duty four largely, and when I move the mouse my gun points correct where I want it to. If I miss, I can honestly really feel it was me, and not the hardware. -The movable side buttons are good. There's technically 5 side button positions (as opposed to three) if you leave the slider inbetween slots.-Feels good in your hand, but its an ergonomic so what else would you expect? Very good weight also, has some heft to it.-Glides nicely. Working with it on a Razer Goliathus mousepad, manage weave. Considering a Razer Vespula or a Steelseries QCK+ although as the manage surface of the mousepad drags a bit also much on my wrist/hand.-IT GLOWS!!! -Not a lot of features. Once more its an ergonomic, but I count on better from Razer. -----The sensitivity switching program is great, the two buttons on major, but the on screen display is buggy at times and there's no LEDs or indicator on the mouse as to what sensitivity stage you're on. -The software program isn't excellent. I've updated from Razer's web page to the latest firmware and driver version, and the configurator still appears buggy at greatest. The on the fly sensitivity screen pop up doesn't display at occasions, often the computer software doesn't recognize the mouse when you go in to make adjustments.-The mouse feels like it could use two more buttons, perhaps on the left side of left mouse button, like on the Naga or Mamba. My settings: 1000Hz polling rate, Acceleration of five. Sensitivity stages of 2400, 3200, and 4000 DPI. Commonly use at 3200.Technique: ASUS G60Jx LaptopIntel Core i5 2.27GHz4Gb DDR3Nvidia GTS360M 1GbWindows 7 House Premium 64bitDidn't get from Newegg lead to it was less costly elsewhere on Black Friday :/All in all its a excellent mouse, a extremely worthwhile upgrade if you want an ergonomic gaming mouse. Got this to step up from a Wolf King Trooper MVP and rather satisfied so far.

Hold down any paperwork that I could have even in a moderate breeze. Worked properly for approx. 3 days. Upon receipt of this mouse, I installed it as per the manual (DL the v1. driver and the v1.04 firmware update) and it worked fine. A few days later it would not track left or proper. No amount of restarting the technique, reinstalling the application or unplugging and replugging the mouse would correct the situation. The only thing that Razer assistance has carried out properly up to this point is its automated e-mail reply that they have received my tech. assistance query. Even that instant e mail has troubles as it informs me that I will be contacted inside 24 hours by a rep which has in no way been the case. So far, I have had to dig the tech. assistance line telephone number out of the internet site and telephonically initiate every get in touch with that I have had with Razer assistance to date. Every Tier of Razer assistance asked me the identical questions/gave me the very same troubleshooting procedures that I had received from the preceding level which tells me that no one wrote anything down at all. After the dilemma began, I hotswapped the Imperator with a (currently on NewEgg) Ű.99 *Brand Name Redacted* optical mouse. It performs just fine.1 way or the other, this will be my last purchase from Razer. Wish me luck on the RMA.

Very comfy. Fantastic grip, you won't have to hang on as hard. My G5 feels like I need to grip it a small harder or it's going to get away. With this mouse you just hold it, this implies your hand doesn't get quite tired right after hours of play. I don't know if this certain mouse was defective or not. I've placed a replacement RMA and I'm waiting on the mouse to arrive now. I owned the mouse for about a week. No issues. Then it started to act like it got disconnected from the USB. The cursor would cease and no quantity of fiddling with buttons on the mouse would make it move. I had to unplug and replug the USB for it to perform again. Then a couple days later I noticed that the cursor was beginning to move in the opposite direction of my movement. This only happened at slow speeds, but it was incredibly annoying attempting to get a sniper shot, only to have the cursor move in the precise opposite direction I wanted it to! This difficulty worsened a bit, but I didn't give it extended to see how bad it would develop into. Eventually I couldn't do straightforward tasks such as closing a window or employing a drop down menu. Just about every time I attempted to slowly move in a certain direction, it would mess up. I attempted to reinstall the drivers and even the firmware on the mouse numerous occasions. I cleared all drivers from my pc, double checked to make sure they had been gone. Then I started from scratch. I attempted this at least 3 occasions, but the issue just wasn't going away. That's what tends to make me believe it was a hardware difficulty. I love the grip on this mouse, I really like the aesthetic, I enjoy the rubber texture, I love the lights...But that's all meaningless if it doesn't do its job. I'm giving it a second likelihood, I hope the second mouse performs or I'm accomplished with Razer. I hope Razer isn't all show and no go, I want to like it. I'll be posting a comply with up overview, hopefully with 5 eggs. I've spent properly more than 񘧸 right here at Newegg, and this is the initial item I've ever had to return! Newegg pwns, retain up the good function guys.

I'm going to start off by saying DPI.. Are you kidding me? Ridiculously high, adore it. Tracking is remarkable on this mouse too. I play First Person Shooter kind games and it is great for that. I use the SteelSeries QCK+ Heavy mouse pad (giant mouse pad) and this mouse with each other, ideal (to me atleast). Every single now and once again, it will randomly unplug itself, even though it is nonetheless plugged in tightly into the USB. Just totally disappears from the personal computer. (Doesn't happen also usually even though, when every two weeks or so) All you have to do is unplug it and plug it back in and it fixes the issue. If you like finding head shots, and having great accuracy, as effectively as becoming able to handle recoil on your games, you must buy this mouse.

-Ergonomic-Adjustable side buttons-Custom immediate dpi adjustment -Light weight and feels affordable-Incredibly sensitive LMB and RMB leads to unintentional clicking-Bad design maybe (read beneath) Let me just say, its not necessarily a undesirable mouse. The ergonomic design is really nice, the thumb has a really nice location to rest, and because the two side buttons are adjustable, you can spot them fairly considerably where you want in relation to exactly where your thumb is. Immediate sensitivity adjustment is nice and you can customize up to five dpi settings and speedily switch between them. For FPS gaming, i choose to have a healthy amount of twitch unless im working with a sniper variety weapon or aiming more than a lengthy distance, then I like to use a extremely low sensetivity setting. Now for the poor. The slick plastic sides (where your thumb rests) and light weight provides the mouse an general inexpensive feel. I feel like Im gonna break it if I grip it also tricky. The main mouse buttons are incredibly sensitive and are prone to accidental clicks. Lastly, the bottom edge of the mouse comes to a incredibly sharp angle, and this leads to the back edge of the mouse catching my mouse pad when I pull back, which is very annoying.

The tracking on this is a million occasions smoother than any other mouse I've had. Plus, it's just plain cool searching haha

Performs the minute you plug it in. The firmware is fantastic and offers you good selections. On-board memory for profiles and macros. Gold plated usb connection and 1ms response time. The 5600 dpi is overkill but 2000-2500 is just correct for people today moving from optical mouses. Soon after 1 day of making use of it I was completely adjusted. The buttons are all comfortable and responsive. Even though I require a new personal computer asap this mouse gave my old comp new life and created gaming fun again. Just make certain you turn off acceleration in options since this mouse currently tracks very rapidly. Also the braided cable is powerful and 7ft extended. They did every little thing right with this mouse! Doesn't play my games for me.. Register this item with Razer asap because you get a 2 year warranty! Everyone posting neg on right here need to just use their warranty and cease complaining. This mouse is perfect!

-Nice software program.-3 Year warranty is quite nice if you have the challenge I had (see below).-Extremely precise, comfy, the adjustable side buttons are a plus. -Don't use it on a cloth mouse pad. Period. I have yet to use it with my Destructor mouse pad but I must be exchanging it soon.-Attempting to exchange it ideal now, immediately after about 11 months to a year of use, the left mouse button would cease "holding" when you're dragging an icon and would drop the icon ahead of the released the icon just before you finshed moving it. Would also occasions double or triple click when you only clicked as soon as.-Braided cord "locks up" and at times inhibits your mouse movement. Most of Razer's items are either make it or break it. They either last a although and work nicely, or have key problems and break in a dew weeks.

Yet another excellent mouse from Razer. I don't think they make anything BUT excellent mice. I had a Copperhead before, but am much more of a Palm grip suitable handed gamer, so this mouse was great for me. I wanted some thing in the cost range that Newegg was selling these for, and this was great for me. It doesn't have "too many buttons", but the appropriate ammount in the appropriate places. The mouse fits my hand like a glove. I purchased it with the Destructor Mat combo and this mouse tracks flawlessly. Even at the complete 5600 DPI I have currently got applied to it over the 2000 I had before. It has braided sleeving more than the cord, high excellent gold USB connector, it's very attractive and comfortable, and for gaming? Are you kidding? It has Razers incredibly best high overall performance laser in it at 5600 DPI 1000 Hz! Couple that with a high performance gaming surface like the Destructor and this mouse provides a genuine advanatge in gaming. My Copperhead servered me incredibly properly, but this Imperator is a new breed! I really don't see any except for maybe left handed players. This is a correct handed ergo created mouse geared far more toward Palm grip players though grip kind players can slide the buttons forward to accomadate them as nicely. I don't assume that's actually a con even though. If you're a lefty, you want an ambidextrous mouse. Adjustable side buttons for each grip stype players and palm style players is a nice touch, and you can set the side buttons to fit your hand perfectly. I seriously like the design of this mouse. Anything is in the right place, and tracking an accuracy on the Destructor pad I bought with it has to be felt to be genuinely appreciated. The only people today that will hate this mouse are those who face it on the virtual battlefields out there! It is a distinct benefit and if you are a player that practices and is correct it WILL give you the drop on the other guy. I would highly reccomend a top quality gaming surface such as the Destructor or the like for this mouse. This is such a high DPI mouse that you'll want maximum accuracy and tracking and the Destructor offers just that. Not that it won't work with a regular pad, it just performs so a lot far better with a top quality gaming mat.

I've owned a razer diamondback for nearly five years now, and it's still kicking, but lately I've been gaming a lot much more (SCII and some FPS's) and I feel the will need for additional / adjustable DPI. This mouse fits me like a glove. I claw / fingertip grip mice and this functions excellent. You could also palm this mouse with ease, if that suits you. Asthetically, this mouse is superb. The drivers are wonderful. You can set five unique sensitivity levels to suit your wants. I choose the thumb buttons in the rearward position (because I "claw"). Getting able to move those buttons was what first drew me to this mouse. The material for the thumb is grippy, until I use it for 30 minutes, then my thumb begins to sweat and it's fairly annoying. I've never ever had that issue with any other mouse. I will be returning this mouse since of the z-axis bug... since of the increased sensitivity, I dont have to choose up the mouse incredibly typically, but when i do, the cursor or my view (in a FPS) goes down and to the left, and it's truly annoying... I have to search for the cursor or move to compensate, which drains my wrist. I've installed the latest firmware and drivers which did not fix the dilemma. My roommate purchased a G500 at the similar time as me and his doesnt do that at all, so I will be finding that as a replacement. Also, a thing that scares me, is 3 hours soon after first plugging in the mouse, it just stopped responding... yikes... I surely don't want it to fail on me in a couple months and I'm out an ๠ mouse. I hope razer gets the z-axis bug figured out. I'm fairly sure it's hardware associated, which sucks. I have loved my diamondback for years, and it's a shame I can't continue to patronize razer.

~ Adjustable side buttons ~ Fits nicely to hand (VERY ergonomic)~ Grooved Thumb at side~ 2 buttons on prime used for the On-the-fly (or whatever u want)~ 5 Custom DPI Settings for On-the-fly~ No Disk to install, driver currently inside!~ Braided mesh cable (just like my G9)~ Mouse Wheel and Logo glow better then Deathadder ~ Z-Axis (fixed with most up-to-date drivers)~ Weird Disconnect (will clarify below) Okay so I've been using Razer goods for a extremely long time. Believe me it was incredibly tough to retire my Deathadder, but I'm glad I did as this mouse does feel a lot far better then it.As for the Disconnect, it's only occurred the moment in the time ive been using it and has never happened once again due to the fact. I also own a G9 for my second laptop or computer and this entirely beats it. The two leading buttons are the icing on the cake that produced me want to retire the D.A, as now in a tank I can raise my DPI and move the turret quick, or lower it if I'm sniping for precise headshots.Fantastic issue about this mouse is just day to day use. When I used my Deathadder, it's a good mouse for gaming, but day to day use (surfing net, etc.) your hand can get a little tired, but with this mouse, the nice groove at the side of the thumb makes it feel so nice that I've yet to get tired nor crack my knuckles from it XDAll in All, this mouse is totally worth the ๠ and the pros FAR outweigh the tiny cons I occurred to come ac

Really comparable shape and really feel as the Logitech MX518. That’s a very good issue since that’s the highest rated mouse on Newegg (I have 1 also). It is a little smaller (an improvement) and it has the rubberized coating on the top (also greater). Razer software is also superior than Logitech’s, so the price tag premium is partly justified. Also has cool blue lights. Annoying installation. Razer should take some of the income they use for packaging and invest it in usability. Possibly let some of their staff intern at Apple Pc for a though. I’m not going to describe the troubles, just take these hints. When you go to the razer assistance website, don’t just appear down the list of downloads and select the most current version. You need to have to download 1) The firmware updater and 2) the drivers. If you just appear at the list and download the most current version number, you will miss half of the package. The Imperator Configurator app is in the driver download. When you run the firmware updater (at least in Win7), you need to know that when you plug in the imperator mouse with the three buttons pressed to update firmware, THE MOUSE GOES DEAD! Exactly where it says to click next – What do you do with a dead mouse???, DON’T unplug & plug it back in and click Subsequent. As an alternative you need to have to have a 2nd mouse installed to press -Subsequent- and select -Update Firmware-. Razer is just cool. Of course you have to spend a premium, and installation day can be annoying, but as soon as that is over, it’s a bit superior than the competition, especially if you have the $ to toss around.

Wonderful mouse. I also personal the mamba. It has fundamentally the identical exact engineering underneath the hood as the mamba. Ultra-polling rates񡹨hz) and dpiƓ.5G laser sensor up to 5600 dpi) are the similar. Free down-loadable software program is amazing. Lets you do anything at all. I like the ergonomic fit of this mouse more than the mamba (I'm much more of a fingertip gamer). It even has a move-in a position side-button switch. AND you don't have to charge this which is a plus(it's got braided cable wire). The razer symbol on the palm of the mouse pulses with a blue light as properly. Looks sick It comes with a razer coaster(for drinks). I don't know why. lol Razer makes some of the ideal pc peripherals out there. I suggest this buy
