I installed one Seagate 1.5TB HD and a Hitachi 1TB HD into the unit. It seemed to operate fine, but I identified that my automated backups had been failing. Did some investigation and located a firmware update (windows only) to update the unit to accept 2TB HDs, but it did not operate with the 1.5TB HD I had installed. I had to move the Seagate drive to one more enclosure and put a 1TB (WD green) in it's location to make the Rosewill enclosure reputable.
