the only thing that was a problem there were no instructions on how to put the card in to be read we were putting the card in up side down we made arrangment to send it back cause we thought we got a lemon then just for the heck of it we turned the card over and it worked

This is not a USB powered floppy, only the card reader is USB powered. My Asus P5Q Pro Turbo will only run a USB powered floppy thus I lost out on shipping both ways in the return process! Beware!

I built up a quad-core computer. While it had USB and audio connections, I needed a multi-card reader. Finding this reader with the bonus floppy drive was a no-brainer choice for me. It installed easy and I've had no problems since.

Save your time and money, don't buy this Sabrent drive. Parts delivered today, set up the case, power supply, started to put in the hardware. This drive will not mount in the case no matter what space-rails you might have. The floppy disk door hangs by a small spring, insert a floppy, the eject button releases the disk but you have to pry it out of the slot because it won't eject by itself, and the floppy door doesn't completely close, just hangs there on it's little spring hinge. Looks neat when you take it out of the box, advertisement is great, just doesn't work. Company is in California, hours until 5pm PST, but they don't answer the phone at 4pm PST. I'll dig a spare out of my stash to get this box up this weekend. Save your money and time, buy something else. Happy New Year.

I installed this drive in a new computer. I runs well and is very useful. I like having a floppy available and it's nice to have the extra usb plug and card readers available.

Drive works but is slower than other comparible drives. Also, this one doesn't have the same standard holes on the bottom (most floppy drives do), so mounting in a 5.25 case slot is difficult.

Didn't fit in drive bay had to bend guides in bay to get it to fit. Some memory cards slots wont accept cards because they are miss aligned. I took it back out of computer and threw it in the junk pile. Save your money its not worth it.

didn't fit in the drive bay, i had to bend the metal from the tower to fit it in. only to find that some media cards had to go ALL the way in to register, then i had to use tweezers to pull it out. The floppy drive wouldn't take the floppy at all. Worst Product ever!

The product description implies that all you need is an internal USB connection to make this work, but that is not true. You must have an FDD cable to make the floppy drive work. Most new motherboards do not provide an FDD connection, so this is not a good option for a new computer.

This is a decent unit for the price. Everything works fine but it's very noisy. Since this is being used only for saving the occaisonal file, the noise is not a big deal. The USB and card readers work without a problem and installation is quick and easy. For the price and features, it's a good deal.

Cannot get the card reader to work with windows 7 64 bit. Not sure if there are drivers out there that would help. Tried to email manufacturer and did not respond. Tried to call and could not get through.

Card reader works, floppy doesn't. I needed a card reader but thought I could also use a floppy. Buy a different one if you need a floppy drive too.

The product works very well. I had no issues installing it, and it has every single port that I was looking for. This product was worth every penny I spent for it.

This worked great with Windows 7 64-bit and with Ubuntu 9.10. The computer detected all the drives with just the USB cable plugged into the motherboard, but I didn't try writing to any floppy disks until I plugged in the FDD cable as well. It did take some precision to get it into the slot, but eventually it slid right in with no problem.

I was sent an return number for this too but the wife threw the box out before I could return it so I kept it for the readers.

This thing does not work as a floppy drive. It would only write on a floppy once and then crash. Tech support sent me a second one which also failed as a floppy drive. The card readers seemed to be OK. But if you are looking for a great combo you better look for something else.

THIS DRIVE WORKS GREAT THE CARD READERS ARE GOOD AND I HAVE TRIED THEM ON DIFF CARDS THEY WORK PEREFECT THERE IS GOOD VALUE HERE FOR THE PRICE IS GREAT.

I needed a floppy drive for the new computer I built. I picked this drive for the memory card readers that were built in. When I opened the box, I could tell that it was of very cheap construction, but I figured it would be good enough as long as it worked. I only had trouble fitting it into the front of the case, the rest was no problem. I first tested the card readers, and the worked ok. When I tried the floppy drive, the disk wouldn't stay in. I had to remove the drive, disassemble it and unjam the latch mechanism to get it to work. After that everything worked, but I cracked the eject button ejecting a disk. (the button is very flimsy) Overall quality is very poor, but the extra card reader features almost make it worth the price charged.

Excellent card reader for the money. No issues on install at all, and has read everything I've thrown in it so far. Sure beats hooking up my usb 1 compliant camera!

Bought it and it didnt fit in my case, i dont know why and when i tried it, it didnt work, only the usb, ehter A. Bad drive or B. Didnt like my computer.
