Great Product. Works as advertised. I was able to use my serial Wacom tablet with an all USB computer. Tried with other cable/converter before without success. I strongly recommend this product.

This product worked as advertised and as expected. I use it with a glucometer that comes with a RS232 cable, to upload your data to your doctor's office, or to your computer for analysis. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes; installed software, plug the USB cable, select the COM port in my software, and it just worked perfectly.

Before turning to this item, I've tried item#M501-1000, which didn't work . I also tried another company's product from other store. But failed either. Only this one works well. Highly recommanded.

This works great. Our service department has about 6 of them. We use them to connect to PLCs in industrial settings very frequently. Jighly recommended.

Worked exactly as I wanted my PC did not have a serial port to connect my GPS. This cable took care of the problem

The adapter does everything it is supposed to be. It works great and is small and inexpensive. However, I have a problem when I use it with my Dell D400 laptop (running XP Pro): if I forget to unplug the device before I put the computer in hibernation, it will not come out of hibernation properly and I will have to reboot. If I think of unplugging the device BEFORE I go to hibernation, then all is fine. Also, I wish there were a way to remove the screw posts which interfere with some serial cables. The posts seem to turn loose but cannot be unscrewed.

This product works great. Windows XP complains that the driver isn't ''registered'', but just go ahead and install it anyway. Now I can use my handheld GPS with my new computer. And the price can't be beat.

This product really works. It is compatable to all the older equipment I communicate to. Price is the best abd driver also working fine with windows 2000. Same hardware as item# C184-26886 but different packaging and driver at half the price. I used four of these at 38400 bits per second connected to a bus powered USB 1.1 hub communicating simultaniously without any problem.

It is a very good product. Windows recognized as soon as I connected it. I inserted CD and it was done. Moreover, the price is really the best price. Now I can use my old PDA on my new notebook.
