The price is great, its compact . I found that Windows 7 beta detects it and installs without any other driver required. As for XP, it does require the driver CD. Updates for drivers - I tried for an hour with no luck, couldn't find any drivers at all. Best connection to a Dlink unsecured router - 150mbps.

Tried using out of the box on a Vista equipped desktop with a ''G'' router, but it would drop connections and wasn't quite up to speed. Ignored cd per other users input and went to Sabrent's web site for newest driver. Works like a champ now. No drops and great speed. A bit bulky for my USB plugs, but I've got plenty of 'em, so no worries.

Wireless card is working well. I had a problem (missing the installation instructions), but their support responded quickly and I was running in about an hour.

Running Windows XP connecting to a LynkSYS 802.11g Router. I've installed and connected wireless adapters before but never had the problems that I had with this one. The Manual that came on the setup disk didn't represent what was displayed during setup. It wasn't fully plug and play. Since the Manual was misleading it took several attempts to get through the setup. Once working, the hardware is solid and works well. Obviously a very capable Network Adapter with software interface designed for IT experts and not the average but quite knowledgeable computer user.

So far we have not had any problems with the wireless network adapter, it works great. The only thing about it is that you Have to know what you are doing to set it up. It is not a easy thing to do for someone who does not have a good working knowledge of the computer system. I had to have my dad help me, he's a computer nerd and it was fairly easy for him.

The WIFI at my apartment complex only goes up to 54Mbps.This works fine as long as I'm not to far from the router which is in the apartment with the adjoining patio to mine.These apartments have brick walls.I'm probably 50ft from the antenna.

What can I say? Got it to repalce an internal on a two and one half year old HP laptop. Easy to instal,fast and no problems.Tried to repalce the internal but it is a main board problem.

I read the other reviews and opted for plug and play. No problems whatsoever. I purchased this item to allow me to use my neighbor's unsecured wireless connection. It works like a charm!

hey i plugged this into a Spooky old Win 2000 (Pentium 2) desktop (with W 2000 service pack 4 installed) & soon i be jamming on Sat. broadband from my router downstairs. I like it! I don't know sh*t from Shinola about ''features'' or ''quality'' but it worked for me; no installation headaches. it sez in the Docs. it'll do Win98SE too, hey that's a stretch! dunno,i got I.E Explorer version 6 on this smelly old desktop. I'll recommend this 'cause it'll more than XP or Vista; it like that!

I needed to connect a computer to my wireless network. I was told that it would be a complicated process and nobody was able to help me. I ordered this product, plugged it into the computer and the internet worked. It was so simple and very reliable!

I bought this for my spare computer. The disc, IMO, is worthless. Download the drivers from the website and install it. I had trouble with the bloatware it came with, so I just installed the driver and it works perfectly. Recommended!

I struggled over two days to get this to connect with the internet. The software sent with the adapter only covered through windows xp. I have a new computer with windows vista. I had to go the the Ralink website to get updated software. Then it had limited connectivity with my DSL modem, but not with the internet. After much trial and error, I took the advice of another reviewer, and loaded only the driver. Then it worked. It works good after you master the setup. More instruction needs to be included for the computer challenged.

I am not a computer geek and not having hard copy instructions resulted in about 2 hours of trying and failing until I had a successful installation of the software. Otherwise, it works great.

I recieved the adapter 5/13/09 works perfect with trend net n router which I bought from newegg for 24.99 I have verizon fios 20mbs down 5mbs up and I get the full speed off sabrent adapter great product.

Works like a charm, very fast. I've used others and this by far has them beat. But, it's very cheaply made so use a docking station with it if your using a laptop, this will keep it from getting broken by your mouse or other equipment you have around your laptop.

This unit is a great tool. It is small and installs without using any third party software. Just plug it in a USB port and let windows do the rest. I would recommend this to anyone who can turn on a computer.
