Sabrent USB-802N Wireless N Network Adapter - 300Mbps, 802.11n, USB 2.0

Overall, works ok. But, two issues: 1) as previously mentioned, don't install the management utility, just install the driver. My machine has a wired connection and this USB adapter. When the management utility was installed, it didn't play nice with the wired connection for unknown reasons. After uninstalling it and installing the driver (downloaded from Sabrent web site), no problems 2) NO WPA2 security compatibility!!!! This is a major issue for us. Will be using this for travel, and getting some other adapters to use in the office.

I've used this adapter all week with XP, Vista and Ubuntu. Both Vista and Ubuntu 9.04 have the drivers included. I needed to install the drivers from the CD for XP. Network performance was very good. This adapter is great if you want to ditch your network cables but don't want to bother installing a PCI card in your computer.

Purchased this product to replace a D-link USB adapter that went out. Driver installation was fairly easy, but there's very little explanation of the network monitoring software provided. Plastic casing seems somewhat flimsy but no problems so far. Wireless connection rate fluctuates often; my wireless router is in another room down the hall, and sometimes I get excellent reception while other times I get poor reception. Decent deal for the price.

Works really good! I have Vista 64 home and had no problems with this adapter. Mine is cool to warm to the touch and I have never seen it get close to the point that I though it would overheat. Great adapter, would recommend.

My on board phone jack took a lighting hit and stopped working, rather than replacing the mother board I bought this Device, I just connected it & have been getting fast DSL internet with no problems its a Great Product!

Had this device for 1 month now. Setup was easy. Cannot connect to 300Mbps but only 150Mbps. I think it's because my router is in the basement and the PC in on the second floor. Other than that very happy. I'm thinking of buying 1 or 2 more.

This adapter works right out of the box. pros: price, performance, easy of use. cons: adapter is fragile. Must be handled with care.

Have never had any experience with other wireless devices but this one installed fairly simple using Belkins router, only hangup was very little information provided for install but managed to figure out the problems,and get set up on WinXP Professional, my problems centered around security settings for my router which needed to be set up on the network adapter, after I cleared this hurtle operation has been flawless. for the price it is a great product.

I was very unsure how this USB adaptor would work with my router since others have had problems and were very slow. Setup was fast and quick and connection is extremely fast. Tigerdirect has once again reassured my trust in the products that they sell. Thanks again.

Excellent product. Used this to replace a Linksys WMP-300N. Won't buy Linksys anymore... this one worked flawlessly on the first try. What more can you ask for?

This thing worked good. If I were you, when you go to install it, it'll ask you which connection problem you'd like to use, there's option 1 which is the one that's included on the cd, than there's another one called windows something. I would use the windows one, not the one that came with it. As far as what I can see unless I missed it, there was nothing in manual or what I could see in the program of anything that allows it to connect automatically. But the windows one will let you connect on start up. If you chose the windows one originally, it'll still use the one on the cd for stats and what not, just not as the primary connector.

Works well - better then Linksys USB (flash drive looking) and cheaper - have not tried the N but G speed works just fine - downloaded latest drivers , installed, rebooted, plugged it in and away it went - good value

Bought for a Windows XP system. Using with a Linksys WRT150N. My first suggestion is download the driver from Sabrent's web site (about 17MB). Plug in the USB NIC and cancel the Windows installer that pops up due to finding new hardware. I suggest doing this since the downloaded driver is an exe file. I would then execute the file and install the driver only. The other choice would be to install the utilities. For my situation they don't work very well. They might with a different wireless router. At this point I set up the security settings and IP address for my network and all is well. My only complaint other than wasting time with the included disk instead of just downloading the driver from Sabrent's site would be that it will not run faster than 135 Mbps. I have a Linksys WUSB300N connected to another system that stays connected at at least 270 Mbps. This isn't a distance issue as the systems are sitting next to each other. All in all, its a keeper.

Wanted an N adapter to go with a Linksys router. Bought 2 Linksys N network adapters and they did NOT work at all with my Vista computer! Called tech support and was told there was no patch, update or anything that would work, suggested I take back to retailer, which I did, twice. (These Linksys adapters were about 68 dollars plus tax.) I decided to take a chance on this 'cheaper' one and it worked perfectly, no cutting out, no problems whatsoever. Installed easily and has been working perfectly since. Highly recommended!

Works great and easy to install, had it for few weeks now to replace my 11g version. Happy with it, have to say over my expectation since its price lower then the other guys in the tiger.
