Nearly silent. Good excellent wiring and connectors. Temps exactly the same as with my loud (but very good) Tri-Cools. RPMs are reduce than I expected but temps are OK so no biggie. This Computer is a devoted audio recording workstation in a recording studio so it HAS to be quiet. Original fans had been unacceptably loud. Now, I am incredibly satisfied. I put 2 of them in the case (one in the front as an intake fan and one on the back as an exhaust fan) and they set up simple and work wonderful. Thanks NewEgg and Scythe.

Really quiet fan and moves more air than the stock fans that came with my Lian Li situation. I sleep in the same room with my computer and I cant hear it any longer. If your only using one you may possibly need to have to get a larger rpm/cfm model. My situation has three 120mm fan so its plenty of airflow. Low-cost, smooth, easy hookup, look mean with the scythe stickers on them, pretty quiet its the loudest fan in my case, but the rest are magnetic barometric fans that are truly SILENT. its nonetheless quieter than my dvd burner so at this volume it nonetheless a very good deal its the only fan that i can't tie to my board for variable speed or even on/off without an external switch. you dont feel a lot of air on your hand in front of it, but somehow it nonetheless moves tons of air. my case has under no circumstances run cooler. it baffels me

Excellent airflow and incredibly quiet. None I have read some critiques expressing dissatisfaction with the airflow. With a cleanly wired case and a properly planned air-path this fan moves as much air as I could envision ever requiring.Program you air-path well. Have all of your fans moving air from front to back and stay away from side fans unless there is an air duck to channel it directly toward an upward facing CPU fan or out the back. It is also fine if the side fan feeds its personal air-path and is blocked off from the most important front to back flow. This is the case with some Lian-Li enclosures and is utilized to cool the drives, in from the side and out the back.Also the rear exhaust fan ought to be drawing hot air from the CPU heatsink. If the intake side of the exhaust and CPU fans are very close, they will each move much less air. I used a Scythe Katana 3 for one create mainly because it put the fan and heatsink at about 20 degrees off perpendicular with the mainboard. This way the exhaust of the CPU fan entered the inlet of the case exhaust fan.

Very quiet! None I have 3 of them in my Thermaltake V5 Lan Case. You cannot even inform its running if it weren't for the blue led on the 200mm exhaust fan. Even with Corsair H50 push/pull setup with Scyte fans my i5-750 ʄ.2ghz wǗ.34 vcore my idle temps are 34c.

practically silent - I have four of these fans over two 120mm radiators in one situation, and they are silent unless you place your ear up to them.excellent airflow - a decent quantity of wind is pushed by these fans. The airflow obviously isn't as substantially as the specs say, but it's a lot as long as you don't want a tornado in your case. Hands down, these are the finest fans on newegg if you have water cooling and you want a practically silent loop. I'm getting four a lot more soon after I write this review.

Like the title says, these babies are dead silent! I could barely hear two of them when I place my ear subsequent to them, and in a quiet space no much less. These fans are created for individuals who don't want a jet engine for a Computer. Does not really feel like 40CFM to me, I'd say low 30's. If your method requirements a lot of air circulation I'd say go elsewhere. Not poor, I was aiming for a rather as possible technique and two of these fit the bill along with an Antec 300 situation.

I adore em so substantially that I had to purchase 2x a lot more. Such a low audbile dba vs air flow ratio that it hits the sweet spot for me. I have a total of five now in my Thermaltake V5 case and it's practically silent. It doesn't make coffee in the morning. Newegg is the finest as usual with rapidly shipping and excellent customer service. I have coolermaster 120mm blue led's rated at 19dba, but they're louder than what they're rated and I chose to retain the scythes instead due to becoming substantially much more silent.You will love these fans as well. This is the second quietest fan on Newegg soon after the 500RPM version. If you go much below 500RPM you're actually not developing any airflow to speak of, and this fan undervolts to about 400RPM at 5V. The exceptional shape of the fan's blades seems efficient.Comes with a three-pin connector and a molex adapter, which is preferred versus both connections hardwired on the identical line (it's not like you'd use each at after). n/a I received this free of charge from Newegg soon after my situation arrived with a DOA fan. Seems properly constructed. Not nearly as silent as they would like you to think. These fans aren't super loud, but they are undoubtedly loud adequate to be heard from across the room even when set to their lowest speed with a fan controller. At full speed, they aren't even close to getting silent. Taking into consideration the price and the ridiculous shipping charges per unit, this was a single of my most disappointing purchases in a lengthy time. Replaced the two I ordered with Noctua fans which are essentially silent.

Virtually rather. Moves a decent quantity of air. I got three of these and put two in front and a single in back on the Antec 300 case. My case is about 1.five feet away from me. They are finding louder. They use to be whisper quiet and I had to listen to hear them operating. Not any longer. Why can't people come up with a situation/fan design that's silent. Is it also costly or as well hard ? I guess in future I will appear for a situation with 14" fans only.

First off, I have no thought what the guy beneath is talking about. :-/This fan operates wonderful for my create. Quite silent, with decent airflow. Also my Slipstreams hum less than my a lot more expensive S-Flex's at comparable rpms. 3pin cable could be a tad longer. Not dead silent, but close. Not truly a con, but I dont count on more than three years out of these fans.

Nearly silent Is quiet but not silent, the fans run quickly at virtually 900 RPM. Employing a seperate 3rd party fan controller I was in a position to drop the RPM to 𞼞 and now the fans are totally silent. For the value I was hoping for superior.

They do not seriously do the job so effectively (that radiator/fins are designed for low flow fans). I feel ill almost certainly sacrifice a different 5dba and go for fans that are in fact 40cfm or perhaps 50..

I've had a set of three of these fans running for a little shy of four years now. They have spent the majority of this time running at the minimum voltage at which they'll still spin, and although they don't move a lot of air at that speed, they are completely inaudible in a silent room and are more than sufficient to keep cool air running over components that can't quite handle being cooled passively. One of the fans has just developed a very slight ticking, and I'm absolutely delighted that they're still for sale so I can buy a replacement along with a couple of spares.

May not be adequate for very OC'd systems If you have a program that doesn't create also substantially heat, this will work good as the sole case fan. If you require good spot cooling or have airflow restricted by a duct, the fan will function even far better than normal 7-blade designs.
