Quietest fan in my case. It doesn't slice cheese! I like how it has arrows pointing which direction the air goes. I'd be lost without that! lol

Comment:
Fans run quite quietly. The only fan I can genuinely hear is the 1 that came with my case. Seriously thinking about getting an additional 1 of these to replace that 1. Great cost for a fan this quiet. None.

quite quiet. with yet another pc in the room i couldnt hear the fan until i held it up to my ear.moves a lot of air for the noise and speed. they come in low cost-looking japanese packaging mine came with the 3 pin connection, as properly as a 3 pin to molex adaptor.i in fact got two of them. one for a case fan, adn the other to replace my cpu fan. i applied twisties to stick it on the stock heatsink for a phenom x4. it idles at 25c and gets up to 35-40c under load. i'm incredibly impressed with it.the loudest fan in the case is the energy supplyundoubtedly suggested for fairly fan requirements

Scythe SY1225SL12L "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:None

Pros:Quiet, Airflow
Comment:
Just what was needed, a lower airflow low noise 120mm fan. Fits the bill with leaps and bounds plus there's still a decent push of air. It's that simple, this fan offers up the needs for me!

Dead silentpush decent quantity of airhigh excellent.will acquire again none, its good. would like to see a slightly higher cfm model, its so silent they have room to push a couple of far more cfm with out it becoming audible. 10.7db, id like to see one with 15db and say an additional 8+cfmcool japanese packaging.

Scythe SY1225SL12L "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
I got these due to the fact I'm into the whole silent computing factor for the computer system in my room. These fans had nice specs for RPM to CFM ratio. I cannot tell these are on even with my ear quite near to them. The only way I know is to blow the air directly into my ear and hear the turbulence of air. But from the side, I can't tell at all. And I did this type of testing for 7 diverse case fans from diverse corporations. These are by far the most silent. Comical seeking japanese packaging. Although this could be a Pro. =) In terms of air, these are equivalent to a woman's breath although she sleeps. I have 3 of these to maintain the absolute minimum airflow necessary to preserve air circulating in my Antec 300 case. Its enough to feed my CPU cooler and GPU with fresh air. If that's all you require for your computer system then you're great to go. These are not meant for overclocking, voltage-guzzling, gaming rigs. So if you bought it for that, and then came back to give these a terrible assessment, then golf clap to you sir for extreme underachievement in understanding what a item was developed to do.

These cheap 120mm have a pretty good balance between noise and air flow. Great for quiet intake fans for your case. Well worth the money for the price.

Scythe SY1225SL12L "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:None.

Pros:Smooth, quiet, and good airflow to noise ratio. Very reasonable pricing as well.
Comment:
I'm a silent PC enthusiast, and according to silentpcreview, these fans rank very highly for CFM to noise ratio.I have not been disappointed. I use a pair of these to cool a video card, and they do make a little noise, but undervolting these to 7V makes them effectively silent, and also allows for more cooling than I need.If you need 120mm fans for a quiet PC, you can't go wrong with these.

Scythe SY1225SL12L "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons: -Low power (to be expected with that RPM)

Pros: -Ultra Silent-Cheap
Comment:
This is probably the most silent fan I've ever seen! It even is quieter than some notebooks I used. Great for low noise/power system; however the air this fan can move is somewhat limited. Still a good purchase, especially at that price.

Cons: No rubber mounts

Pros: Good airflow, very quiet
Comment:
Quiet, good airflow, added a couple to my Fractal Design Define R3 front to cool 6 HDDs. Keeps them a cool 29-30C without sacrificing noise.Would have liked rubber mounts to reduce noise, but still very quiet using screws.

Scythe SY1225SL12L "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons: Doesn't come with the rubber mountsNot sleeved

Pros: Pushes lots of airQuiet
Comment:
It's quiet, i.e. no buzzing noise, no vibration, no clicking sounds. All you can hear is the airflow. With my Gelid Silent 120mm, running at max, it pushed about the same amount of air, but louder. So with this Kaze Jyuni, it's pushing the same amount of air, but quieter. Too bad they're not sleeved. It's be great if they had the rubber mounts also.
